Double, triple check numbers in the catalog. We ordered a base but it was not labeled right so a different base came in and the rep just said "that happens but you got the one you ordered." I even had him check the page to show we ordered what was listed for the base we wanted they said nothing they can do for it unless we returned it paid the shipping to return and a restocking fee. Absolutely ridiculous.To top it off they broke another order up into 3 shipments and two of the boxes came from one location for 3 eye sets when they could have dropped it into the form box and saved us the 40 bucks in shipping we paid.

After several years of using Mckenzie I went to place a order this year and they tried to charge me $50 from 3yrs earlier, said I didn't pay shipping even though my product was delivered. 3yrs later!!! Asked why I wasn't told that year and they said they don't charge until your next order. 3yrs later!!!! REALLY I hope they enjoyed the 1st couple years because it was the last. Shop elsewhere people!!!

Don’t tell you shipping prices and then charge you later. Got charged $42 shipping on 4 little foam antler plaque forms. Never order from here

This place has the worst customer service. Order receipts are not itemized so you can't tell what you have been charged for what. I canceled an order I have waited 6 months for and haven't received a refund. I'm done giving this company chances. I will order all of my taxidermy supplies from mataska from now on. They can get me the supplies in a timely manner and I can tell what was ordered on the recipient. Maybe they should take some advice from them on how to run a business properly.

I had a small order from McKenzie of an oppossum form and a pair of eyes and it took a MONTH to SHIP because they apparently had to "make them". If they're "in stock", you shouldn't have to make them, nor should it take a month! Not only that, But shipping for it was 50 fricken dollars. Its ridiculous how my dream of being a Taxidermist is crushed by a money hungry monopoly!!Edit: nevermind, Neither are shipped yet!!

Mckenzie has great products, i’ll give them that, but the process it takes to get anything is ridiculous. They won’t quote you on shipping, they just charge your card for it after it’s shipped (usually WEEKS later). While this alone isn’t too bad, a lot of the time they charge the card for the shipping freight unexpectedly, so 90% of the time my card declines due to insufficient funds. This wouldn’t be an issue if they charged for shipping at the same time that the order is placed. To add insult to injury, Mckenzie refused to ship my future orders due to my card previously declining. I would have been happy to pay the freight charges had they let me know when it happened. Contacting them by phone is nearly impossible, same story when trying to email them. Very disappointing.

This used to be a great company, not sure what happened.prices and shipping have gone through the roof, they won't quote you shipping costs and half of my order was wrong.Their customer service ladies are nice but most of the time you'll wait on hold 20+ minutes to talk to someone.Not worth the frustration, it's sad to say but after many years of relying on Mckenzie, I'm going to have to start ordering forms from a different company.

I will never purchase from this company again, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. ever.I ordered a coyote form on March 3rd for a class, paid the exorbitant shipping price and they sent me a wolverine form with the wrong tag.I called customer service, waited on hold for 20min, was told "oh gosh! this never happens! we'll have it fixed in a jiffy!"And they sent me another wolverine.I didn't have a form for my class (which I paid to attend) so I didn't really get to participate.rinse and repeat shipping 3 more wolverines back and forthand I still don't have my coyote.At this point, I've been on hold for a collective 3 hours (several lunch breaks and numerous calls after getting out of work) and no one can seem to actually fix the problem.The problem? the forms are miss-labled and no one cares enough to actually fix it. so they keep sending me the wrong species.It's almost June. where is the form that I ordered?

I've been doing business exclusively with Mckenzie for many years but I can’t keep waiting months for forms. With these times I can understand the surcharge, delays and increased shipping but full freezers and waiting months for forms is unacceptable. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, this hurts me deeply because of Mckenzie's unmatched quality.

Use to be the best company out there. Products are good too. They bought out just about every small supplier out there. Prices went out the roof and shipping is ridiculous. The small taxidermist can not survive. 1lb of appoxie scultp. 21.60 to ship?!.

Can’t ever get ahold to anyone working there by phone . Not sure what happened. Use to be a good place to do business with. With all these recent reviews, looks like it’s going down when it comes to customer service.

No one answers the phone anymore. Your prompted to leave voice mail and get a call back. Within 24 hrsTwice have done so and twice no one has bothered to call back at all ,ever! Poor customer service., Bet they blame it on covid.

It's TRUE they have great products. Top quality taxidermy supplies. However, my order came in three separate shipments. The last order shipped nearly a month after my initial order. And, to add insult to injury, they then charged me an ungodly $123.00 ground rate shipping fee. They won't quote shipping at time of purchase. I figured odd, but, no big deal. Right??? Boy, was I mistaken. I paid more for the shipping than I did for the fox form I mounted. Very displeased at that extra charge. I had already used some of the items from the first shipment, or I'd send the whole thing back. Would not recommend!!!
