They were wonderful! I took a watch in and the gentleman in charge was able to take out a few links on the spot. You could tell he had a lot of experience doing so, and was a very classy gentleman. Thank you again!

I stopped by the store Friday evening to get my promise ring cleaned and inspected as I was very over due. The women that assisted me was rather rude. I gave her my ring and her first comment was ‘what a little dainty thing’. I told her it is my promise ring and my wedding ring is in the shop (which we didn’t purchase from Kay’s). I start to tell her that it’s very sentimental and she cut me off telling me I could get it upgraded or made into earrings. Very insulting and insensitive. Would recommend going to Shane Co.

I’ve never written a bad review. Im very patient and kind until someone does me wrong more than once.This location has terrible employees. I’ve been in five times in the past year with ring issues and I’ve only had one person treat me with respect out of all the times I’ve been there and I still felt like I was taken advantage of. The other four times, the employees were extremely rude. They are not willing to work with me without making me feel worthless. I’ve left this kay jewelers in tears FOUR times over the past year because of how poorly I’ve been treated. I’ve been taken advantage of on multiple occasions and it sucks because I have been nothing but kind and patient each time I’ve been in there.They sold me a $4000 faulty ring that just snapped in half while I was rotating my laundry. Didn’t hit it or pull at it. Just got hooked on a pair of pants and it snapped in half after I gently wiggled it to get it loose. That was just the first time it broke. The second time it got snagged on a dollar tree garbage bag.I bought the warranty on this ring 6 months before it broke then when I took it in to get it fixed, I don’t feel like I was treated fair. I was told that I’d have to pick a new ring because it was faulty. Well, after paying $450 for a warranty 5 months ago, they MADE me purchase ANOTHER $350 warranty for a new ring even though I didn’t even have an option to use the warranty I already purchased to fix the ring I currently bought. I’m upset because they didn’t even give me an option to get this ring fixed. I shouldn’t have had to pay for a new warranty if they weren’t giving me the option to fix the ring that I already bought. And with my previous ring experiences, I refuse to wear $4000 on my finger without a warranty.I’m extremely upset. This all happened two- three weeks ago. My sisters wedding is on Saturday and I told them to please expedite this ring so I could have it for her wedding day. It’s now Wednesday so I figured I would call today to make sure it would be here on time. Well, when I called. They had no note on the ring to expedite the order. So now, unless they can figure it out, I won’t have my wedding ring for her wedding day. The girl who answered the phone said she would call me right back, but they are now closed for the night and I never heard from her.Please please don’t make the mistake of buying from Kay jewelers. They are a money hungry company. They don’t care about how you feel or about the situation. They just want to take more and more of your money.My sister went with Kay jewelers before all this happened, and she has had very similar experiences.I feel like this is a terrible company because of the way I have been treated every time I go in there. They are there to make money off of you. Not to fix your issues.Update: They are working on resolving the warranty issue and they were able to get me my ring in time for the wedding.

Came here to get my engagement ring cleaned and inspected in order to maintain its warranty. The employee (I failed to get his name) was very polite. He offered to clean my wedding band as well (even though it is not covered by any policy) and further explained some of the details of my warranty while he did the inspection.

We have always worked with Kay’s for 20 plus years and this was an attempt at our largest purchase with them. I’m in sales work hard to stand by my word and never over promise. In this most recent visit the associate that help us was great, we selected what we wanted, got the price, and headed to the register. Jorge the Manager came over to accept payment and we just then find out that he planned to take in our very expensive solitaire for only $200. With the price and deal we had already agreed on were were trading in a wrap as we had already spoke about and getting the solitaire back. No, that was not the case he turned it all into something that we had done/said wrong and accused us of changing things. Went from a great visit to another horrible experience very quickly. Their district manager got involved, but still he insisted we were in the wrong. Be very careful.

Today my wife and I arrived at your Newgate Mall location. We were approached by Miss Whitaker and we're met with a bunch of attitude and condescending comments. We were trying to find out when our daughter's ring needed to be brought in for inspection under the protection plan. But she was focused solely on the diamond enhancer for my wife's wedding ring. After calling her on her attitude and the way she was treating my wife like she was stupid we asked her to just go away we would wait for Larry our normal guy. Miss Whitaker continued to make comments within our earshot about how she didn't have time for this and various other comments. This happened at the back counter that wraps around your store on the back side. I did ask her if the cameras had audio recording she told me I sure hope they do. She did give me grief about getting your information to reach out to you. Her lack of customer service is astounding we have spent literally thousands of dollars at your store. You also stated that she was allowed to talk and keep talking and stirring our emotions. By the end of this encounter my wife and I were both shaking we felt unsafe and unwelcome in your store something we have never felt before. Larry did an amazing job taking care of us as usual and as Larry was taking care of us I noticed that a gentleman came in who happened to be a person of color and he did not receive the same treatment she laughed and joked with him was kind patient and I feel that this should be the same treatment across the board. I did tell her that she was acting like a petulant child and she said ooh nice use of big words whatever. Blows my mind.

I have been in the customer service industry for 20+ years!Let me start off by saying Tasha and Jorge, at this Ogden location, are the perfect definition of fantastic Customer Service!They both went above and beyond to answer my questions and was all around a successful day!If you and your honey are looking for that special piece, Kay Jewelers, located inside of the Newgate mall in Ogden Utah. That is your place! They will take such good care of you!!

I am beyond grateful for Latasha and Susie. Came in and both of them treated me with such respect! We laughed, they were friendly and really knowledgeable of the products. I will forever be grateful to both of them for an amazing experience in this store! These ladies are truly exceptional and now I will forever be a customer of Kay Jewelers. I truly can’t thank them enough for everything.

Every time we come into this store with a warranty issue we always have issues. We've purchased about a frozen or so pieces of jewelry here and every time we have to fight in order to get anything fixed. They always seem to have issues finding the warranty or the account and when they finally locate it we've been told for multiple pieces that we didn't have it cleaned and inspected like you're required and we've had to prove that we have every time and they never have record of this. It's such a hassle.The most recent visit we had. I purchased a simple, personalized titanium band for my husband as an anniversary gift. So far every other piece of jewelry we've had issues with has lost stones or when my mom's ring was repaired by them, they ended up messing up so badly they chipped her diamond. It was a prong they had to fix. Anyway, my husband's ring came in and was about half a size too big. A week and a half later I took it in to get sized down. The instant I walked in the lady insisted they could not size THAT ring when the protection plan I purchased specifically said sizing would be covered withing a size and a half in either direction. She insisted that it couldn't be sized because it would take off the engraving on the inside of the band. When I insisted upon the protection plan saying it could be sized she finally looked up my account. It took about 5 or 10 minutes to even find the account. (This is the only piece we've purchased with my married name and it's a VERY unique last name.) Then when she pulled it up again she still insisted that it couldn't be resized. I asked why the protection plan specifically states it can be and what good is that protection if I can't use it. She called Larry over who told her that they would have to send it back to the manufacturer to be sized or return it and exchange it for the right size. He mentioned it would be a little more work to do if that way but it COULD be done. She turned to him with a pouty look clearly upset about the work. Then she typed maybe 10 characters into the tablet and turned back to me to say she couldn't do it and would need the manager and told me he was out and it would be about 30 minutes before he was back. When I insisted I couldn't wait that long (my daughter was with a babysitter) Larry stepped in to try to take care of it. The manager walked in about 30 seconds later and was able to pull up the information they needed to send it in. Then they still weren't able to because the system wasn't recognizing the manufacturer ID number. So here we are still with a ring that's not sized properly after spending 30-45 minutes at the store.Seriously, the hassle isn't worth the jewelry. You'd think that since the ring was ordered straight from their website and one of the first things you see it would be much easier to get taken care of.

I went into the store to look at some bracelets for my daughters birthday I was helped by Latasha W She took the time to show me the bracelets they had on display which ones could be sized which ones were adjustable I felt like a valued customer Not rushed to make a decision she was very knowledgeable about the jewelry Very polite.
