Stayed there 21 October to 23 October. I wanted to comment on the front desk staff. Outstanding! Made us feel welcome and that they were happy we were there. A super nice lady named Sharon (hope I got that right) who most likely worked the afternoon shift took care of us. She was friendly, helpful, had a great smile, gave clear and specific directions on where to park, provided great advise on local restaurants, and even helped us by taking a family photo. Thank you.
Food and drinks: Sharon at the front desk recommended two restaurants. The Sonora Grill, and the Union Grill. As it turned out we had dinner at each one on different evenings. Great recommends

The good: central location and walkable to many attractions, beds are comfortable and staff is helpful.
The bad: parking is terrible, no hot tub or pool, and rooms are dated (our carpet was a trip hazard in multiple locations especially for a disabled or elderly person).

I think the hotel could use some updating, and maybe upgrading windows to help the noise from downtown. But other than that I loved the stay.
Bailey was really professional and outstanding checking me in, and she helped us so much with parking and other questions we had. Great gal you have there. Will be coming back again. Thank you.
Walkability: You can walk anywhere
Food and drinks: Love that there are close amenities

Nearby activities: Several restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance.
Safety: The area is very safe, there is private parking around the block. If you check-in late, or if it's raining or snowing, it might be inconvenient.
Walkability: You will find good places to eat.within 1 or 2 blocks.

Be aware if you stay on the weekend do not get a room facing Washington Blvd. The cars race up and down the street until 3am. I had ear plugs and it didn't help with the noise of the racing cars.
The parking is really far from the door so be ready for a long walk. I was bummed to pay $10 to park around the block. Overall, I don't think I will stay there again. It was a lot for how disappointing it was.

I am completely disappointed with this location. Do not trust your stuff in your hotel room. I admit that I left a couple things in the closet but called everyday since the day we checked out and none of our items were turned in. This is something you trust of a hotel and clearly can NOT of this one.

The parking situation is atrocious. It really doesn’t feel safe if you get back to the hotel late.
The power to the hotel went out while we were getting ready for a wedding.
The room is tiny.
Their sign says they do room service every other day, but we got room service once during our 5 night stay. When we did get room service, they didn’t leave us any towels. When I went back to ask them for towels, because they were down the hall from us, they acted like they didn’t have enough towels for everyone. I am pretty sure they took towels out of another room.
The breakfast was passable, if you like waffles. They have one of those waffle makers that are nearly impossible to mess up. Otherwise you are in store for watery eggs, tough biscuits, and only substitute sausage (turkey or chicken).
We had family that stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn down the street, for the extra $10 a night and no breakfast I would still go to the Hilton Garden Inn. I say this knowing full well that Hilton owns the Hampton so I really wish I didn’t have to direct you to another one of their hotels.

Noisy location and small rooms. Not bad, if you want to be downtown and hear sirens and street noise. They do have a really good breakfast selection. Friendly staff. It's clean. Older building and you hear everything.
Walkability: Close to downtown for food and entertainment choices

Very noisy room. Could not sleep since it is on highway 89. Very old building with poor room service. Avoid this place!!

The hotel is right on 89 highway. It was so noisy into early hours of morning; motor bikes, loud cars, and trucks. If you like a good night sleep, pick a different hotel. Also, they charge 3 days of parking fees for a 2 night stay.
Rooms: Old hotel with minimal services. Parking is so inconvenient and far from hotel entrance.

I'm a little disappointed in a Hilton facility.
The staff seemed like they didn't know what was going on.
We were assigned a crapy room with a view of the emergency stairs.
The gym was closed.
Parking is a hike away.
I would probably stay somewhere else next time.

I stayed here this week for business and have no complaints. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. I didn't have a car, so parking wasn't an issue. And I loved the proximity to the restaurants on 25th Street. I appreciated that hot water and coffee were always available in the lobby.

I arrived to my room to find black soot all over the bathroom, countertops, and bedding. I asked the front desk if the room could be cleaned and was informed the room had been out of service. A staff member swapped the bedding and wiped out the bathtub but there was still soot on the counters and floor. The room was never cleaned beyond that and I was charged full price.

I love old buildings, so I want to rate this hotel higher. I appreciate the effort and cost it takes to reinforce old buildings like this and I love the reuse. And the building and lobby are beautiful. Check out the impressive added steel in the middle of the building!
But as an overnight hotel stay it wasn't ideal. Inconvenient parking for $10 a night plus REALLY loud traffic (ole single pane windows) meant that Saturday night racing was loud in the room.
Breakfast was the same as any Hampton Inn, sufficient but not great.
