This clinic discriminates against Spanish-speaking patients by refusing to provide any translation services. In addition to that, they refuse to see uninsured patients who are willing to pay the entire cost out of pocket up front unless they provide an SSN or TIN.

The billing should be more transparent. The cost was not upfront.

I Have been using them for years.
Over time some visits are better than others. Lately there seems to be a big turn over of people? This is new today.
No support dogs are allowed.
The people were very rude and don't care about you just your $$$$!!

Staff is very kind and pleasant. I really liked the office and the waiting room was comfortable with some cool eye-related displays.

They “don’t have time” for their patients. That is a direct quote, by the way. I was referred to this practice for treatment of some nodules on my corneas. Mind, I live in Brigham and this office is in South Ogden. Visit one was ok. The doctor says my eyes are very dry and irritated and he can’t address the nodules til that is under control. Ok fine. Fair. He plugged my lower tear ducts and sent me on my way. Visit 2 was absolutely the single worst experience I’ve had with a “medical professional” in all my life. The doctor wasn’t happy with the progression of healing and decided to do my upper tear ducts. The tech put me in a waiting area while he went to see if my insurance needed pre-auth. I told them no, they had checked last time I was there but ok whatever. He came back and said that the lady who does this QUOTE “Doesn’t have time to check.” Ok say WHAT. My trip is 30+ minutes one way AND I had to take time off work. PLUS my co-pay. And to top it off the scheduler was on lunch, so I was sent away with absolutely nothing to show for it. I was called the following Monday and offered an appointment A MONTH OUT. What could I do? I took it. In that month’s time, my eyes have gotten progressively worse and I am now to the point that my eyes are so light sensitive I can’t go outside without sunglasses on a cloudy day, and I can’t drive during the day. I’m currently waiting on my eye doctor to find me someone else because I will NOT be going back here.

Really rude, arrogant, unfriendly and unhelpful woman with long wavy hair working at the frames shop inside this place. I’ve been trying to figure out these headaches I’ve been having. I can see totally fine through my current glasses but figured I’d get a new exam to see if my prescription changed.
For the eye exam Dr. church was also 40 minutes late, I was just left alone in my room with dilated eyes until I wandered the halls and found someone who didn’t even apologize for how long he was taking.
Anyways I shook it off since most doctors are late. 40 minutes late is just rude and a waste of time but what can you do. I used the prescription they gave me and bought some glasses online (since this place doesn’t have any frames, not including lenses, that start below $200 for adults). I bought glasses from two separate websites and they both had the same prescription but I couldn’t see through them.
So I returned them and called up this place to see if I could get a new prescription since the one they gave me was very clearly wrong. I got chewed out for returning the glasses and not bringing them in so they could test them to see if they matched the prescription they gave me but I didn’t know that was something they offered.
Regardless, as I said, I can see through my current glasses that have a prescription not from them (thought I might need new ones because of my headaches) and I couldn’t see through these two that I ordered from two different websites with the same prescription I got from here. And it’s not that my eyes need to transition to this new prescription, I just straight up can’t see with that prescription. It’s unlikely that two different places got the same prescription wrong in the exact same way.
Don’t come here. It’s like pulling teeth when something goes wrong. I won’t be coming back.

Beware when making an appointment here to ask them up front if there will be any additional fees. When I paid for everything “upfront” the day I made my appointment I still received a bill asking for more money… not a great way to contact business and I will not be returning because of this.

Came here for special eye disease called KERATOCONUS and scalar lenses and was told my contacts should last about 2 years here I am 8-9 months later and need help with these type of lenses l called in to be told the new doctor doctor king doesn’t sell my type of lenses anymore and I would have to buy a better brand of lenses. My first pair cost me 1200$. So your telling me I’d have to redo everything for 3000$ so your company can make money and not just help me with the contacts I have already paid for. Sounds like you would rather have money than help people that have eye issues. I will say that Ronny the lady that helped me was great but apparently there is nothing she can do so thank you doctor king for not wanting to help with my keratoconus eye disease. I did find a doctor that would help me with my current contacts for a 1/4 of the price. Perry eye center.
