First time I ever came to Cal ranch what's today April 24th 2024 first time ever been here and the two encounters that I had with the two employees was not very pleasant and I don't think I'll ever come back to Cal ranch again because of that their employees were very rude very disrespectful and very unhelpful they treated me like I was garbage and I'll never come back here again.

I mean dang B...I just asked for a bathroom! Asked the folks at the register for a bathroom. One of the ladies at customer service turned and looked in the direction and said...um cowboys and cowgirls in an obviously right there voice, then turned back around as if I was being rude. Unfortunately, their signage doesn't make it instantly apparent as it looks like the rest of the decor for sale. Regardless, your job is customer service. Someone needs more training on what that means. I'm still here debating whether to buy my birds here or not....***UPDATE*** after walking around several departments and not being able to find anyone or being ask if I needed help and being generally ignored and avoided. I've decided to go to the Layton location where I'm treated like a customer. If that many people are there and I can't get a bit of customer service...ya'll have a bigger issue.

Bill at the Farr West store was so helpful, knew the product we needed, and beyond helpful!! Definitely will be returning for all our well pump needs! Cal Ranch please keep stocking submersible well pumps!! Five stars for sure

Worst experience stood at the gun counter for 20 mins was never approached by no one nor acknowledged maybe wasn't the right shade of white to be there I guess.

Store seems fine, but don't trust the inventory online. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to this location because the online inventory showed that they had 56 tomato cages. I was told that they sold out of them weeks ago. What a waste of time.

Father and brother decided to go to this location instead of the usual location they visit. Big mistake. Literally walked in the door to have 'theft detection sensor' set off, which understandably, technology goofs can happen. However, some old female cashier and the lady working along side her immediately decided that my father, as a bigger bearded man, MUST have stolen something despite having just barely literally entered the door, harassed him, demanded his wallet and hat to make sure they weren't stolen, among other harassment, mentioned that maybe they should get someone to frisk him, etc, despite another coworker having tried to intervene and say he again, literally just walked in. This was all done in front of customers by the way with no regard to any sense of decorum. When unable to find proof of theft, they then threw his stuff back at him without any apology. Disgusting attitude, and while I commend the one employee that tried to stand up for him, this is unacceptable customer service.

NEVER SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!! Went to this store location with my father on 4/7/23 between 2:00 and 4:00. We walked in to the store then stopped to look at some furniture. and when we walked in thru the detector it went off on my father. We stood there confused for a sec and not even 5 seconds after, the old lady and a young lady at the registers started hounding him, demanding he approach the counter and demand an answer if he had bought a wallet there which he replied no. They then asked if he even had a wallet which he then answered yes and as soon as he said yes, they demanded to see the wallet and ripped it out of his hands to then go through it, swiping it on the machine on which did nothing. After that they demanded his hat and ripped it from his hands, pulling it apart to find that the hat he had purchased FROM AN AUTOZONE had a stick on tag that set off the alarm. They removed the tag, threw the hat back at him and then proceeded to then ask a fellow worker of the store if my father should receive a pat down or " be frisked". The only person that came to our aid was another worker that told them multiple times that we had just barely walked in. After that ordeal, we walked around the store still numb from the verbal abuse we just received. We also noticed that it seemed that workers were then following us around and watching us until we left the store.

Yesterday morning I went into this location to purchase a firearm. Steve was the gentleman who helped me. He did a really good job with his customer service. He was very patient and professional. I asked him a million questions and not once did he show signs that he was annoyed. Great customer service is getting rare these days. Thank you Steve I greatly appreciate you
