Horrific service. The guy here is incredibly rude and insisted on having commercial insurance in order to rent a truck. He then cancelled my reservation and then CHARGED me and left the rental open!

Every time we make reservations there is an issue, they don't have what we reserved, problem with payment even though it's already prepaid, horrible customer service and rude. Don't bother using a debit card unless you want to pay an exorbitant amount as a deposit and don't need it for up to a week after you return vehicle as well as plan on taking several pieces of mail because apparently a valid driver's license is not proof of an address even when you show other proof. Even though I could save money by using them it's worth not dealing with them to get better customer service elsewhere

Made a reservation online 2 weeks in advance and when I went to pick it up there was no truck. They guy was just like sorry we don't have any trucks. I asked if he saw my reservation he said yeah. So.... why didn't anyone call me? what is the point of making a reservation? Ended up going to U-Haul but wasn't able to get the size I needed. save yourself the trouble and just go somewhere else this place is a joke and they don't care.

Filled up the truck less than a mile away, dropped off within 2 minutes of the time required, was charged $106 for a "late fee and 16 gallons of missing gas". Total scam, unless you save every. single. receipt. they will not refund your money. Im guessing they filled up some other vehicle or their own car and charged me for it. Customer service online was useless.

Made a reservation online for a 12 foot truck but after driving down here to pick it up they told me no trucks are available and the computer system was wrong. They didn't have any other trucks available. The sales reps were unprofessional and unhelpful.

Just picked up a moving truck from here. It's dirty inside and out. They would only let 1 person in to the building to do all of the paperwork but didn't bother to clean the inside (cab) of the truck or even clean the windshield. This is during a pandemic. When we cleaned it up, we found a pizza box behind the seat, a pop bottle, cereal and lots of crumbs. Fingerprints everywhere, ground in dirt in all of the crevices. it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Only 1 speaker works and not well. Also, each door has to be unlocked manually form the side. The truck is older, hoping it will get us to Phoenix ok.

I made a reservation on May 11 and received a confirmation number. I showed up on time to the specific location on my reservation May 13th. They did not have the truck or any other moving trucks at their location (except one that was out of service). They sent me to a different location that put me behind by two hours. The new location could not retrieve my original reservation so a new contract was made. I was charged a no show fee of $75. What a joke! Now I have to call customer service and explain to get refund. Budget should pay me $75 for an inconvenience fee. I am very dissatisfied with Budget Truck Rental for not providing adequate customer service, not fulfilling a reservation that I made, and then charging me a fee for all the inconvenience they caused me. I received more than one email congratulating me on my rental. What a joke! The new rental place provided me a rental truck, but acted like they had no affiliation with Budget even though all their trucks were in fact Budget. The truck provided was very dirty inside and out. I had to stop a gas station to clean the windshield before I could drive it. The new place could not pull up my original reservation nor did they cancel it. I do not recommend Budget Truck Rental.

Horrible liars at this location. Rented a truck to go one way to Alabama! Took the truck to my apartment 8 miles. Movers advised me that the truck would be too small. Called this location back to see if they have a bigger truck! They had no bigger truck available, agent said he would look for another truck and call me back! Never received that call. Call Budget 800 number! No bigger trucks in the area! Called the location to advised them I'm returning the truck back to their location. Took the truck to top off the gas $10 and dropped truck back off. Took photo of mileage and proof of full tank. Placed key in drop box! Week later called asked about my refund. Location stated I dropped truck off Saturday night, so they didn't see the truck until Monday and stated I drove the truck 112 miles! I didn't go over 20 miles. These people are trying to keep my $1260 for a truck I drove no more than 20 miles and only had a few hours, Customer Service at Budget is going by what the location is telling them. The so called District Manager supposedly investigated. Not so! Went by what they said as well. It's been 2 weeks and still no refund, not even the difference from what they said I owed them for!!! Do not go to this location for anything! They are crooks and I will make sure all my Military friends and other people I know never use this location for anything!!!

Don't waste your time. Get a U-Haul. Worse than poor. Couldn't even get 50 miles out of town in their broken down truck and they wouldn't fix the problem. Now we get to store grandma's stuff in our garage until we can find another time to move it. Apparently roadside assistance means drive 50 miles back in the wrong direction on your dime in a truck that might not make it. Unbelievable.
