If you want an expensive place to rent well I guess they're about the same price as everybody. But it's not the cleanest place. It is truly haunted if you want to witness a ghost or two this is the place to go, remind you I never believed in that such thing until one day in 2020 when that all changed. I seen an evil entity start 2 appear. That scared me half 2 death.

Bigelow is well maintained and has preserved its antiquity well. The easy access to historic 25th street makes it delightful to stay at, and the receptionist Nadeen is welcoming and friendly.

Rooms: I stayed there about 9months. The room had good 1 window &a good view of construction of the crane.Nearby activities: 25th street bars.Walkability: Ya. There is also elevators & piano, a pool table, books, checkers, & other games.Food & drinks: The room I stayed in only provided Pepsi, water orange juice or ice cream.

I went here with my mom because I love haunted things and I heard it was haunted! I put the key card to the door and it wouldn’t work. I don’t know why it didn’t work but when my mom tried, it unlocked but didn’t open. It was weird. I tried again and it opened. My mom and I both think I’m able to connect to spirits. Also known as a medium. Service is crappy. But other than that it was kinda cool.

One of the best things about living in the Bigelow is the staff. Alissa, at the front desk, is always incredibly friendly and helpful everytime I have anything come up. And for such a large building, she seems to know every residents name and always appears to be in a cheerful mood.Having lived in apartments before, I'm surprised by how seemingly noiseproof the units are. I didn't there were people in the unit next to mine until the other day when I saw them enter their unit. The second elevator just finished being serviced, so it's nice to not have as long of a wait.

I was expecting way to much when coming to this hotel. My 1st experience, the kid behind the front desk was new & could not figure out how to use a choice hotel gift card. So after waiting almost 2 hours in the lobby, I finally left. I went back in hopes of having a better experience (I paid for my room not using the gift card, lol). Upon check in my friend & I were told not to be "alarmed" if we received horrible looks from other guests on our floor. Someone was having a wedding & had reserved the entire floor. Weird, we thought, but still searching for this wonderful experience. We get to the room & find 3 of the 5 lamps missing light bulbs. The Wi-Fi would not stay connected which is EXTREMELY frustrating. The bedroom is not separated by a wall and door like the pictures show, and the bathtub would have fit maybe my 7 year old son. The ice machine was broken on the floor, toilet paper ran out within 5 min, and no extra blankets in any closet. We were told to get ice off another level, use my data from my cell phone to connect to the internet, go down to the front desk for toilet paper, and again when calling for the extra blanket. I was EXTREMELY unhappy with the customer service, and evenly upset with the room. It was not worth the star ratings it has and I will not be a return guest.

My son and his girlfriend live here. They have nothing to say but good about the staff. The place is beautiful, quiet and right downtown on historic 2 bit street.

This review not about a room but more about customer service. My son and his then fiancee had booked your venue for wedding. I am not sure what happened, but about a month or two prior to when supposed to take pkace, his fiancee was notified via EMAIL (not sure if follwed by call) that no longer booked there because place was sold. I understand things happen, but since not THEIR fault, I have issue with deposit being kept. Not sure of reason sold, so that may have something to do with it, but my son's now wife was not sure why could not get it back. What is ghe reason? I don't care if contract had non-refundable deposit (wasn't there so no clue) as they should get it back or at least half since they are not the ones to make the change. Not happy.
