Terrible company, they prey upon the newer dealers with their outrageous monthly dues. Then, if you are late they will harass you to no extent about it...threatening you...then they will even be inconsistent in their harassment...threatening you about a past due that is literally shorter overdue than the one you paid...trying to catch up, a small business owners worst nightmare. Avoid them at all costs. I am currently looking for another company that actually cares about their dealers. Which I am sure there are many. Very low bar.07/25/23 Edit: They have attempted to communicate and work through the issues. I am still looking for an alternative, but for now I will add two stars for at least contacting me about it.

Dealt with another monitoring company for 20 years that got bought out by this sad excuse for a company. No one to talk to, no resolutions, and absolutely garbage customer service. Too bad, have to shop around and they dont even care. If you provide alarm services and catch wind that they are going to buy up your monitoring station, start on your contigency plan.

The WORST place to work. You have to offer people money for them to even consider helping you for a shift if you need coverage and management doesn’t care. They do not know the concept of valuing their employees, you are overworked and underpaid. When I suggested a raise for all the employees, they denied this due to an alleged comment I had made on my (non-existent) social media and then made me non-rehire-able, over absolutely nothing. I’m definitely not going to be rehire-able after this review, but let it be known this company will do whatever it takes, including lying and fake allegations, just to get out of paying their employees better. Do not work here, it is not worth it.

Hands down the worst customer service and interface ever. I was forced into being a customer when Acadian Monitoring sold all their accounts over to them. Like many other Acadian Customers, I ma now moving all my accounts from this central station. Do they make it easy? Hell no. First the numbers I used to own are now owned by Avantguard some how so i have to go to the few remaining hardline account locations to change it. Second, there website is absolutely horrible that they force you to go to in order to cancel accounts (every click takes 10-30seconds plus to respond). Before writing this review and changing central stations, I attempted to work through issues with customer service including missing zone information and contacts, data entry, etc. and they were in no way helpful or cared when I told them I was moving all of my accounts. Good luck if you are one of their victims!

The worst monitoring company ever! No one knows what they are doing. They get paid to pass on the work to the dealers. Seriously, i do not know how they stay in business. 0 STARS!!!!!!

this place is a joke. Ive had them for over a year and they have never called to verify if we have an issue and there is a robbery or home invasion or threat like theyre supposed to. typically we wait ten minutes or more. today they never even called to check. such a scam. dont use.

This company is the absolute worst to work for. They hire young kids who know nothing about management to supervise others. They think that being the boss means that you boss someone around rather than helping employees become better at their jobs. And, even worse, when someone is ill, they expect the person who is ill to find a replacement for their schedule. Then if no one will take their shift, they receive demerits and are in danger of losing their job. My daughter has had a temp of 103.5 for 5 days and the urgent care won't let her come in unless her temp is 105 because they are short staffed. The supervisor just told my daughter that she'd have to sweeten the deal by paying someone to come in and work her shift that they will be getting paid for. Is that even legal for the company supervisor to suggest such a thing? At the very least, I believe it is extremely unethical. BEWARE...stay away from this horrid company. I give it a negative five stars for extremely poor policies.

Whatever reputation this company had prior to the acquisition of Accadian Monitoring is gone. This company's ability to monitor accounts is non existent. This company is literally a dumpster fire. Look elsewhere. AvantGuard literally cost us over 20 customers in just 2 weeks.

AvantGuard Monitoring is one of the best alarm monitoring companies in the United States. I worked for 6 years for an manufacturer of alarm products and AvantGuard was always in touch with us to support our latest and greatest products. Their dealers sing their praises about how friendly the operators are and how supportive the admin team is. I can’t recommend them enough!

We moved monitoring centers once in 25 years And I vowed I would never do it again. AvantGuard took care of everything, they converted our data from Sims to Stages flawlessly and their support staff was wonderful and continues to be wonderful as needed.We rolled our phone lines over the exact day & minute as scheduled and then our AES radios & then our IP communicators without any issues.The operators are professional and do an excellent job representing our company. We are 100% satisfied and the best part of AvantGuard is they continue to stay on top of emerging technologies and procedures and have excellent communications with us & our customers. We were having numerous communication issues with calls not getting through at our old central station, that has been eliminated at AvantGuard.Lastly, special kudos to Gavin Butterfield who is always there for us as needed and our sales team of Troy Iverson & Jeff Dickerson who always are looking out for us.
