I recently had the pleasure of servicing my altima here and I must say, it was a refreshing experience. Unlike most service departments, they were efficient and kept me informed every step of the way. The staff was incredibly friendly and created a welcoming environment, making me feel at ease. What impressed me the most was how they thoroughly explained all repair recommendations, providing me with additional reassure in the recommendation they made. 10/10 experience

My experience working with them has ensured I’ll never buy from a dealership again. They sold me a car with a faulty coolant bypass valve promising me it was just a check engine light. They sent me to a Toyota dealership to get them to turn it off ( this is where I discovered it was the bypass valve) and told me they would pay the diagnostic fee from Toyota( they haven’t. ) and before I even bought the vehicle they promised me they would take care of the light no matter what. I bought my car in the end of April and every time I try to reach out to them they always push me off promising to call me back and haven’t once. Their manager Mario didn’t seem to care when I explained my situation to them. Their other manager Mitch at least made the guy who runs this dealership aware of my situation but I was always the one that had to follow up even when he promised to call me back. To their credit although not really deserved, they said they’d order the part I need but won’t perform the labor. The part supposedly was ordered a month and a half ago and I haven’t heard anything. Needless to say this dealership is full of crap and run by lazy people who don’t have your best interest in mind.

I had my vehicle serviced this morning and Sam was so great and helpful, he explained the warranty that came with the car well and the manager was very kind and helped when I asked a question he couldn’t answer. These guys are the best and I trust them with my Rogue! 10/10 would recommend.

No surprise here! TDN Bountiful’s 5 star rating has dipped to 3+ and continues to plummet! If you listen, you can almost hear that whistling sound as it spirals out of control and down, down, down it goes! BOOM! ?
The advisors here can’t return a phone call for anything. Days will go by with zero communication/unanswered vm. The service manager, Sebastian, instead of taking control or ‘managing’ the situation, prefers to bounce you elsewhere. I guess it’s the easy route but, as I advised him today, the route that will affect your overall customer satisfaction and review average. News flash! Once the advisors have dropped the ball to the extent that the issue is now escalated to a service manager, it is then your time to SHINE ✨ as a manager rather than getting irritated and defensive over hearing about the shortcomings of your department thereby causing a negative impact on your customers. Thank you for absolutely nothing all!

Very dishonest sellers! I tried buying a Tesla and they tried to add $4000 to the deal at the end because I didn’t qualify for the rebate. The sales manger said it was in the description so I looked back at the description and it was at the very bottom. Just be honest with people and let us know up front so we don’t spend the whole day trying to buy a car that was listed for 4k less!!!

To the owner who replied to my review, I would be happy to remedy this by having your people pay for the bumper I will now have to replace because they faked fixing it. In the attached image you can see a wood screw PAINTED BLACK to be less noticeable trying to hold in a bumper that YOUR SALESMAN PROMISED WOULD BE FIXED. We were also pressured into signing a form that said we were "satisfied" at the end of the purchase. I could justify most of your other decisions as the typical shady practices of a bad car dealership, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I now have to pay upwards of $1,500 extra on top of an overpriced vehicle because your employees failed to do their jobs and pressured us into telling them their service was adequate.
The original review:
Tim Dahle Nissan charged us $24,000 for a car listed for $18,000 and promised several "features" including a theft recovery device that was listed at over $1k. Not only was this device not installed, it was lazily thrown into a broken glovebox which they promised to repair. Now, 4 months later, the front bumper on the car is actively falling off and was held together with a wood screw painted black to purposely conceal damage and lie about fixing it. Nothing about the "150 point inspection" warned us about any of these issues. Instead, when asked about the bumper, we were told it was fine and pushed to buy with the assumption they would fix it.
When buying, their salesman, Jason, kept us several hours in order to get us to buy as quickly as possible. He also promised multiple basic repairs on the car that were not included (the front bumper being one of them). After about three hours, we were able to meet with the location's financial representative, who made a point of saying the recovery device was pre-installed and thus had to be paid for. Again, this came in a cheap plastic package LOOSE IN THE BROKEN GLOVEBOX. He also quickly scrolled through the vast majority of extra payments, including a "guaranteed battery replacement" service that sat at over $1,000. They would not remove it when asked.
No review could have prepared me for how poor Tim Dahle Nissan's service was. I rarely write reviews, but for this, I plan to make a Yelp account as well in the hopes it deters more people from buying here. Your employees falsely concealed damage by inputting a wood screw PAINTED BLACK in order to lazily hold the bumper together. I truly cannot express how poorly I was treated at this establishment.
By no means would I ever make the drive to return to this dealership, or deal with another Tim Dahle location. I understand some of these practices are standard procedure, but have heard that many other Utah dealerships do not pay on commission, and thus do not reward lying to their customers in order to gain an extra thousand dollars from them.
TLDR: This is one step away from fraud. You people are absolutely morally bankrupt. By no means should anyone buy from this company. If they allow it at one location, they allow it at all others.

I really like the professionalism demonstrated by the Jean M Ndumbi, I guess he is the best salesman at Tim Dahle Nissan Dealership in Bountiful, don’t hesitate to ask for him over there if you visit them.

I received great service here. Travis is excellent, he communicates well and explains things thoroughly so I understand (as I know nothing about cars.) I didn't feel taken advantage of like I do at other places. I highly recommend.
