We used Chad Knowles for a VA loan. He worked fast and hard to get us pre-approved within 24 hours. However, we were given erroneous information on the co-signing of the VA loan. There was communication from this lender and the seller which was unknown to us as the buyers. Through the incorrect information on their parts, we lost the house. I find this company unreliable.

Between Chad and his father-in-law, Tom, I believe we have done 3 loans with At Home. Each have gone well. Whenever we have shopped around for other options, we kept coming back to At Home, as their costs and response rate were far superior.

Chad was recommended to me by a friend and working with him was one of the best parts of my home buying experience. I was a first time home buyer and had a ton of questions for Chad. He answered all of them very patiently and helped me compare different options. I was referred to Tom at At Home Discount Mortgage by one of my coworkers. My wife and I had already talked to a few other lenders and we felt they were not being very upfront with their fees. Some of these other lenders said they have no closing costs but they were really just taking their cut out by increasing the interest rates. Tom didn't try and fool us, instead, he consistently made himself available to explain the numbers and made me feel very comfortable in the process. He even impressed my CPA. I highly recommend At Home Discount Mortgage if you want a good rate with no nonsense.
