We fully trust our vehicles to them. They always do an excellent job with a fair price. We will continue to go back to them.

We were very pleased with our experience at AAMCO. Phil was great to work with! From the beginning he was upfront, honest, and very clear about what the problem was, what our options were, and how much it was going to cost. We ended up rebuilding our transmission. Communication was great throughout the process. Timelines and price quotes were spot on. As a matter of fact, when everything was said and done we actually came in a little less than the original quote. Our vehicle runs great and we couldn’t be happier with our experience!

Went there because i had a coupon for free inspections.. They will still charge about $80. This is the smallest complaint I have. Because of the $80 we were pressured into letting them fix our torque converter which was the problem. ?They said they would price match. When I got 5+ quotes that were $1000+ less, they would only discount the price about $400.They did fix the original issue, but IMMEDIATELY after we had another problem with it shaking at a certain speed. They found out it was the cv axle. They said there was 100% no chance they could have broken the cv axle when they took it apart to fix the transmission (even though they had already admitted to breaking another part while putting it back together). They refused to do this work under my recent warranty even though I never had this issue before they took apart the transmission. They said it was pre-existing and I probably just didnt notice it before..They also said the part was going to be $1100 to replace, that they had called around to 3 different stores and that was the price. They told me that this part was the only part that would ever last longer than a month. They tried to get me by saying they'd do the less than an hour of labor for free.Luckily I know trustworthy mechanics so I took it to them. They found an equivilent part for $130....Yes they mostly do good work but it is going to be more expensive than other shops.

Had a great experience with AAMVO North Logan. The staff were nice and extremely proffesionals. They quickly identified the issue and were able to get the vehicle in working condition by the next day. I will be using this shop for all of my future transmission needs.Service: Transmission

This is the best car repair shop I've ever been to. I was in a pinch and bought a used car that was not maintained in any way and was in very rough shape. At one point it started acting very strange, so I took it to AAMCO to get the transmission checked out. They replaced the fluid and checked my entire car for anything else that needed repair, for no extra charge. They found that both CV axles were broken, the rear differential fluid was dirty, an engine mount was loose, and the serpentine belt was dangerously close to snapping. They gave be the best rate they could and got all of the work done in a matter of just a few days. A few months afterwards, one of the CV axles broke again and the rear diff fluid was dirty again, but both were under warranty, and they fixed them for free. I've even called for advice about my car, like if it would be okay to take on a long car trip, and Phillip has always been so patient and understanding and helpful, without ever being pushy. They've never pestered me about things like air filters or tried to swindle me into paying extra--in fact, they've referred me to other shops for work like oil changes when those options have been cheaper. 5000/5 stars. I don't write reviews, but I had to for AAMCO. Huge thanks to Phillip and the mechanics out there!

Went to get one thing done and they wanted many other things done that didn’t need done. Would have cost over $3,000 for everything they wanted done. The one thing I needed done cost over $400 compared to less than $200 other places I’ve been down south. Never going here again

We were having issues with our kia with screeching noises that tied into when the car was placed into gear and whatnot. It's been happening for months and we tried AAMCO thinking it might have been tied to the transmission. Well once we got it in they had claimed to not have heard anything and then said the car coded for a neutral safety switch and they could try that. Well the switch alone was $600 and after all the work got done the car still had the same issue and it also started lurching when put into drive so it came back worse than when it went in. I took it to two other shops and they confirmed the sound and ended up was tied to an ignition switch, not the transmission and after getting the work done which all together was $400 the car is fixed but still lurches thanks to their work. I called them back since the work they did didn't fix the problem I went in for and the manager said that they fixed something that was coded and needed done even though I was under the impression it was supposed to fix the issue I asked for. I know this because they said the solenoids were leaking and wheel bearings needed replaced but I declined those services because they weren't tied to the issue at hand and I didn't want to spend money on other repairs. Yes I authorized the repairs but I was misled, even unintentionally, and lots of money later there's nothing they can do because he said it was a miscommunication. Really not professional guys. Never coming here or recommending AAMCO again.

These guys are great. They were professional and honest with me. Fixed my transmission quickly and accurately. Before Aamco I brought it to a local guy who said he replaced the valve body. Didn’t fix it. Went back to him. Still not fixed. He overcharged me like crazy and didn’t fix it. Aamco had the problem figured out and fixed quickly.Service: Transmission

Quote for my transmission was $2,500. Total was $4,500. I didn't have that amount. They didn't ask before doing repairs that increased the price. It's been two years and the transmission is already going out again, and guess who's still laying $150 in interest a month still? Total trap. Terrible service. Just sell your car for scrap.

UPDATE: I went back to aamco to discuss my concerns and I was told they could squeeze me in to see what went wrong. I received a voicemail later in the day saying they had overbooked and could not get me in that day.I don't want to leave a bad review, but since I can't leave a message on the phone and I won't have time to call tomorrow....I took my truck in 3 days ago because my windshield wipers were not working and my turn signals went out. I was told it would take an hour to replace the switch. It took a little longer, 2 days longer.Since it is my work truck that has all my tools and parts, it made working a little difficult. The actual price was $100 more than my quote, however I was only charged for 1.5 hours for 2 days of work so the price seemed fair. When I picked up my truck after hours and started driving home a rainstorm came in and wouldn't you know it, my windshield wipers did not work. Thankfully my turn signals worked and I was able to get to the side of the road and wait out the storm. I am dreading tomorrow as I have to be at work at 7am and there is a 40,% chance of rain.I woke up this morning to go to work, thankfully it's not raining. However my turn signals don't work.Service: Electrical

Phil and his team are VERY Good. They were efficient in checking everything over and catching other potential problems. Even though there was extra charges involved above and beyond the original estimate, it still was in the benefit and my best interest to follow through on these items. The end result is a vehicle that acts like it's brand new instead of 312,000, miMy thanks to you guys. You did good
