Had our first visit here for one of my children with a red patch on her eye. All the staff were very nice and welcoming. Dr. Gayer was very knowledgeable and we got all the help and answers we needed and more!

I've been a patient here almost my entire life. I started wearing glasses when I was eight, and Dr. Ungricht and his staff have been amazing. They've taken great care of me, are very patient with me when putting drops in my eyes. I'm never worried at this office and I know that my eyes and vision are in good hands.

Dr. Parker is an amazing eye doctor. The staff at the front are helpful and friendly. The staff that does eye exams, tests, etc. are very good at their jobs! Great place!

I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Gayer. He took the time to research and collaborate with colleagues to find the best treatment for my somewhat rare cornea issue. Exceeded every experience I’ve had with any eye doc. So kind, easy to talk to, and fixed my eye problem. I can see again!

Dr Vanleeuwin did an excellent job following a unusual lesion on my wife’s eyelid for several months that became suspicious. He then referred me to Dr Ungricht who also kept a careful watch for awhile and eventually diagnosed as a possible Basel cell. After having a biopsy, Mohs surgery, and repair of the damaged lid, I’m so grateful for the excellent care of the doctors and staff. It could have been much worse if it had gone unnoticed. Thank you again.

I enjoyed coming here for a regular eye exam, however, they are not a cost effective or customer friendly option for buying contacts. I was specifically asking for what contact options would be most cost effective. I was sold some Acuve contacts on the premise that they would last 1.5X as long as they were supposed to, and hence would save me money. There are several major problems I had with my experience here:1. The contacts they sold me do not easily last 1.5X as long. After a bit more time with these contacts my experience has been that after just two weeks they are often much more uncomfortable than much cheaper contact brands are after 2 months. So, no saving money here as advertised. Sometimes these contacts are downright painful.2. The contacts had an over 50% markup. As I became more dissatisfied with my contact experience, I did more research and discovered that I could get the same contacts through vendors such as coastal.com for less than $200, as opposed to the $300 they charged me.3. While these contacts were sold on the premise that they would be cost saving, other quality contacts cost even less ($160 for a full year of proclear contacts, about half of what I paid here and much higher quality). This makes a big difference as I do not have a lot of extra income to throw away on contacts.4. I realized my mistake within a few days of purchase, so I attempted to return my boxes of contacts which were still unopened. I was tolt that they can return other brands of contacts, but not Acuve. Though they did not have an obligation to, I wish they had warned me of that before I made the purchase. In short, the eye exam was average, but I would not recommend buying contacts from them. They strongly misrepresent which options are the most affordable and have very high markups compared with other vendors.

Dr Parker performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. I had very bad astigmatism in my right eye. Dr Parker put in a corrective lens that has given me the best vision I haveever had. He came in on on New Year's Eve, in bad weather on his day off, to follow-up on my eye surgery. He is very devoted and compassionate, he truly listens to your concerns. He is the best doctor that I had in the IHC group and I have had a lot of doctors over the years.

I was a previous patient of Dr. Gayer that I have great respect for. He recommended along with family members (wife, mother and father in law) to visit Dr. Ungricht for his knowledge of cataracts Going into my follow up visit with Dr. Ungricht I was very skeptical about cataract surgery as I have one in both eyes. After my visit with Dr. Ungricht I was at peace with the procedure to take place. Had my first cataract removed yesterday at St. Marks and I can't believe how I can see with that film removed over my left eye. Dr. Ungricht knowledge and bed side manner are very professional. I felt very comfortable and knowledgeable before and after the surgery. I am scheduled for the next cataract removal in January 2022. Thank you Dr. Ungricht, staff and St. Marks!!

Dr Parker is amazing!!! i recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. He was so professional and informative. i was unsure as to which lens to go with. I ultimately went with mono vision And am so glad I did! Dr Parker educated me on all my options, not swaying we one way or another. He truly wants to lay all out in the line with as much info as available. To me that is a truly great Dr! i recommend him to anyone needing eye sugeries or treatments. He is top notch in my book!!!!

I lost sight in my right eye 5 years before I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. That is when I started going to Ungritch Parker Eye Associates. They worked with me as my eyesight returned. My eyesight was extremely nearsighted (-1100 in one eye and -1300 in the other). I wore thick glasses and gas permeable contacts. Dr. Gayer checked my eyes yearly, eventually diagnosing me with cataracts. He referred me to Dr. Parker, who performed cataract surgery. He replaced the bad lenses with corrective vision lenses. My vision is spot on. No more glasses or contacts for me. What a miracle, to see clearly without any more contacts or glasses. I highly recommend Dr. Gayer and Dr. Parker!

I’ve been seeing Dr VanLeeuwen for years. He’s great, thorough, and always takes time for questions. The front staff are usually on top of things and friendly. Wait times are typically pretty low, but there are those times where you’re waiting over an hour past your scheduled appointment. It happens. They prefer you get contacts from their office, but are more than happy to write out the prescription.

I was pleasantly surprised by a recent visit. I've been going to Costco for years, but after my recent visit I'm planning to make the change permanent. I saw Dr. Van Leeuwen and he was patient and helpful figuring out which contacts would work best for my eyes, and talk through a few random questions I had including advice about Lasik/PRK as well as provide a good referral.I was really surprised that even with my high-deductible health plan (without vision), the whole visit was covered by my insurance. Even if it hadn't, it was still worth the extra $15-20 bucks for the service, but that was the cherry on top.

I recently had cataract surgery. Dr Parker was thorough and professional. He explained clearly the procedure and in followup answered whatever questions I had. I recommend him highly.

Like many others I have been going to Ungricht Eye Associates for years and it has gotten really hard to trust anyone else with my eyes because they always do such an incredible job. From the moment you enter through the door, you are greeted by some of the nicest people and it just continues as you get your eye exam. I can't be one to say that I have had a bad experience with them yet and I believe I will not have a bad experience in the many years to come.My absolute favorite eye doctor is Craig Van Leeuwen because of his kindness and great attitude whenever you have a visit. You will not be leaving Ungricht Eye Associates without feeling welcomed and appreciated by all of its employees.I have had many friends switch to Ungricht Eye Associates because of how well I talk about the facility and the people that form it.

I have been seeing eye doctors my entire life. I've been going to the optometrist yearly since I was 8 years old, and I've stepped into many different practices in search of a doctor who I feel safe enough to call my "primary optometrist."Let me tell you, optometrists are some of the least empathetic, least involved doctors I know. I've never felt listened to, or cared for, even with the optometrist that I chose to keep seeing for 5 years. However, things are different at Ungricht Parker Eye Associaties. Specifically, I see Dr. VanLeeuwen, and I would feel comfortable seeing any of the other 3 doctors there if he were not available. The assistants are wonderful. They keep such detailed records of what has gone wrong with my eye (something I have surprisingly NOT SEEN ELSEWHERE WTF), and always explain everything they are doing or prescribing to me.You can tell it's a smooth-oiled machine over there. The office is extremely well-ran. It's true that the medical assistants at the front desk aren't bright and sunny, but they aren't there to hold your hand. They're there to make appointments, keep the office running, and keep the doctors schedules' as organized as possible. You're not there to be smiled at, you're there to get your eyes fixed. I have had no issue with their service. If you want the best, come here!
