Someone was in my spot at my apartment. They said maybe an hour. Was not the case, called multiple times and said it'll be soon. After three hours and nearing 2am still nothing. Gave up and parked somewhere else. What a joke, and they are less than a mile from this apartment

Knowingly took my friends car on Friday night so that he wouldn't be able to access it until Monday and they are otherwise just total jerks.

They wouldn't allow me to pick up my car before my scheduled appointment, despite no other customers being present. When my appointment did come around, they were then helping another customer and I had to watch the front desk agent spend another hour trying to figure out how to do her job.

Slick Rock Towing clearly does not aspire to provide a decent, timely, and cordial experience when trying to retrieve a vehicle from one of their multiple dirt plots across the valley. I've had the misfortune of dealing with this company more than once and wouldn't exactly describe them as offering "white-glove" service. Even using the term "dirty-glove" service might be giving them too much credit. Want to pick up your car after they've taken it and pay the ridiculous fee ($250+) so that you can move on with your life? Too bad. You are told you can't pick up your car for several hours until later in the day when it's convenient for them. Once you are given the time and location to hand over your bank account in exchange for your personal property they're holding hostage, make sure to take a mental snapshot of that moment because it's going to be the best part of your day. You're in for a treat. I arrived at their dirt lot on time as agreed upon and quickly found that nobody was there to assist, so I called their office line until someone decided it was a good idea to answer the phone (it took four phone calls). Once they answerd the phone, the woman on the line claimed that a driver was on his way to meet with me and that he would be there within about 20 minutes. After waiting another 20-30 minutes with no-show, I called them again and the staff member told me that the driver who was supposed to meet with me was now "on another job and unavailable," so now they had to find a different driver to meet with me. After standing outside a locked gate on a dirt road in the middle of Summer with a new baby, my four-year-old child and spouse for more than an hour past their own agreed-upon time, one of their patrolling heroes arrived and acted like we had taken him away from happy hour. Really though, what do they care about being considerate when they operate under mob rule? It's pay up or don't get your car back.

This company is full of lazy unprofessional employees. They don't even know how to write warnings or do their jobs in good conduct. I'm disgusted. How are people even doing business with these people?

I parked in a parking lot of an out of business place to grab a quick lunch. While eating, a homeless man circled a few times and is probably the culprit that called the towing company. They charged $250.00 for taking our car less than two miles, and didn't even have it for an hour.

Parked: 11:30, Towed: 11:55. This company does "predatory towing", where someone waits in the lot for you to park then steals your car while none of the businesses are open. I am saddened that this is still legal in Salt Lake County (it isn't in many and some cities have even forced companies to do refunds on patrolled/not called-in tows). If you're a private business looking to hire a tow company for help during business hours, please look elsewhere. Hiring a predatory towing company reflects negatively on your business.Other info: The girl that worked there was polite. It's hard to find but go inside the small building for suite 7. Note there is not sidewalk under the interstate so you can't walk there, ironically. Their receipts have this well-placed joke on them...(it wont upload my picture but it says "thank you for your business" ?)

This company is absolutely horrible if I could give them a zero out of five stars I would. I was with my friend last night. They will tow your car and break into your car with a wire hanger and steal all of your valuable stuff! My girlfriend had a diamond ring and earrings over ten Grand jewelry. They ruined our truck with Mark's on the door from someone putting a wire through the window, which we caught them attempting to break into another person's vehicle as we were about to leave. Which we caught in pictures. They threw the alignment out as well. When I called and talked to them, the lady was extremely rude and condescending! I would never work with them and they are a horrible business!

I have been parking my car in the same spot for a little over 2 years and last night they towed it without warning for no reason and charged me almost $244 to get it back even though they only had it for a few hours. If I ever actually need a tow I will never use them. They wouldn't give me any reason why or who to contact to make sure this doesn't happen again in the future.

As posted by dozens of others, these slimeballs are nothing short of crooks that took our car then lied about when we could get it back. They refused to turn the car over until midnight, then made us wait until 1 an after they “assured” us it would be available. We only waited and walked in the dark with our tiny kids in the middle of the night. Hope these criminals are brought to justice for the way they do business. Absolute rats

These guys are just doing their jobs and no one likes having their car towed. I got a deal! Found out my old beater was only worth $292 for parts and they towed it for free and so when I signed over my title I saved a cool $100 for the fees and to tow and get it fixed. Thanks, guys! BTW, if you need parts from a silver Scion xB 2004, this is your place! Brand new tires on the back!

This is by far the most predatory company I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with. I had parked my car in a lot before going into a restaurant. A sign (in the restaurant) was posted saying cars would be towed if in that particular lot so I immediately ran back to my car to move it. I was literally only gone for five minutes, and when I got back to my car it was already propped up on the tow truck. The tow man then proceeded to harrass me for money. The most horrifying part of this experience is that they had two scouts waiting in the parking lot to jump into action as soon as I had left my car. How these people aren't ashamed of themselves, I don't know, but this is a classic case of predatory towing. You are a completely unethical company and your employees are awful people.

Obviously, I'm annoyed that my car was towed. But that was my fault and they were doing their job. The staff was very kind to me. It was really late when I got there (they're open 24/7, I made an appointment), but they were very quick and efficient.

Towed my car I just bought on a Saturday due to no permit when our complex office is closed weekends so I couldn't obtain one just yet. Walked out at 6am to pick up my 1yo and 2yo from their fathers and it was gone, called and they said to either pay or call at 8am. Called at 8am and was told by a woman with attitude that I should have parked off the property to refrain from getting towed (no where to park nearby that I wouldn't have gotten towed from either) also I would like to add I remained calm the entire time. There are two vehicles here without permits that have been sitting for a month or so and they have been untouched. My account is over -$30 so I cannot afford to retrieve my car and now have no vehicle to go to work until I get paid next week and charges add up daily. Thanks. So. Much.

Slickrock towing has towed my car wrongfully twice from two different apartment complexes where I was visiting in the past year. Then it was a weekend so they charged me extra to get my car from their lot. I should have never been charged, I should have never been towed in the first place, I was parked legally both times. These people are rude and refuse to take any responsibility for their business. Another case of people thinking they can do whatever they want, no consequences. Anybody want to get together and sue them!?
