My 91-year-old husband needed to watch his silent films via DVD, so when his trusty 15" HP stopped working, he went to PCL who convinced him to trade it in for a 10" with external CD driver (he can't get open) and charged him $2000 + tax for the privilege. No shame. These people are crooks.
UPDATE: We returned, as instructed, when the manager was there. What a professional! No hassle return of the computer and DVD driver with full reimbursement. He expects to find and return the traded-in computer (that works perfectly except the DVD player) and will let us know when we can pick that up, hopefully tomorrow. Every company is due one "less-representative" employee (the one who sold my husband an entirely unsuitable computer), and hopefully better training to meet customers' actual needs will solve it for this one. But the manager's response more than made up for it!
2nd Update: Wow, my husband came home with "his" computer today and is over the moon. Better than returning his old computer, the manager went the extra mile and GAVE him one like it but with a disc player built in (like his old one) that not only works, it has a clearer picture than he's ever enjoyed before. Now THAT'S customer service! I don't know if he could have been that generous if it weren't for an experience about five years ago when my husband walked away from the $2,000 computer he'd just bought from PCL but wasn't getting satisfaction and left in disgust. If it weren't for a couple of experiences like that (and the brief hassle of this one), I'd give the full five stars for sure. Keep it up Meho!

Coleman H. helped me at the Murray store this morning; he is wicked smart, patient, professional, knows computers inside and out, explains everything clearly--a huge plus to help an older computer user understand what are at first complex issues. Coleman is simply the best!

UPDATE 4/8/24: PCL let me down BIG TIME. While I have my old PC working, all PCL did was reinstall windows and did nothing to clear my PC of the hackware. Today 5 days after getting my PC back, I got hacked for $500 thru Paypal. Hackers applied for credit, vs. using my credit card. I'm Pissed because getting the Spyware off my PC was 1/2 of what I needed, Geek Squad would of done this, not to be sold a $3800 overpriced desktop, Baron!
4/5/24I woke up to a Hack, they had control of my PC and when I didn't comply with them, they locked me out, changed my sign in Pin. I dropped this off @ PCL and in a week had it back. Cost $250 and I feel Lucky as no files or software lost. Never give anyone remote control of your PC, and never click on anything you recieve in an email, even when the sender says it's OK, cuz it's not!

Called to see if I could get assistance with a trade in, the person on the phone said he couldn’t help unless I come in. I have now been waiting 30 plus minutes to get assistance. Disappointing since my answers could have just been answered over the phone.

I took my laptop in because it had quit working. Couldn't even turn it on. The tech who helped me, Baron de Carvalho, was awesome. He fixed everything and had me on my way in about 40 minutes.

These guys are life savers man! I came in with a messed up flash drive and found out the os was corrupted and they got me out of there with a solution in a matter of minutes!
They're really cool people to talk to, they know their stuff and they're QUICK with it.

I wanted to start off by saying that this will be my first ever review on Google. I had to write this review because of my great experience with PC Laptop Murray. I have been a customer to PC laptop for at least 5 years and went to three of their stores. 2 of them, I had horrible experiences with long build times, and the employees treating you like you do not know anything about PCs. Not with PC Laptop Murray, they treat me with respect and I can have a conversation with them about the technical aspect of PCs. (I have built many PCs for my friends so I have the knowledge and the experience of how a computer works) Later in my years, I have grown tired of putting it all together and so now I just come to PC Laptops and they will handle it all for me! If you are planning to pick up your next PC or need any help with it, come to PC Laptop Murray! Also, Baron and Torin are the best representatives and you should probably seek them out while going here. They will take care of you properly.

I wanted to get back into PC gaming with my previous laptop out of the box from a major retailer several years ago. Now as an older gamer, I wanted 2 major things: a fast laptop and support with the personal touch. I am very glad to say that I have received both with PC Laptops. Joshua understood very quickly what I was looking for and found a configuration that allowed me to stay at a price I was comfortable with while having max performance. The next thing I appreciated was the laptop was handed to me well configured and ready to use, there was no bloatware and I only had adjust a few preferences before gaming (Out of the box laptops are jammed pack with needless apps). I have extensively used my laptop for almost a month now running games at high-ultra settings at triple digit FPS. To top this off, I have also been able to speak with Joshua about new graphical settings I was unfamiliar with as well as him ensuring that the device is running as expected. I am very happy with the performance of my SMT-7 and am reassured with the support of PC Laptops.

I had a great experience with this business. They solved my issue on the spot in less than 15 minutes. Torin and his staff were very professional. As they were fixing my computer I observed their interactions with their other customers. I was impressed with their eagerness to understand their client’s computer issues and get them resolved. I have brought my computers from my businesses to many stores similar to these and none of them have impressed me the way PC laptops did. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
