My husband and I went to look at townhomes for an upcoming investment property. Natalia was at the home and was extremely knowledgable, helpful and professional! She gave us a ton of great information but wasn’t pushy. She answered all of our questions and it was such a pleasure to meet her, we are looking forward to working with her. We cannot wait to purchase our next property through Oakwood Homes!

We went in for our next home and Natalia was so helpful. She went above and beyond to provide the information we needed.

Working with Oakwood Homes has been a positive experience for us. We loved our sales rep (Amanda), the builders and the finance team. The staff were open to making some modifications to meet the ADA needs of our family. The communication and care of the team has been very positive and professional. We also love the location and community. We do have an issue with our flooring and have an appointment with the warranty company on Friday to address the issue. I hope it is addressed, as we have lived here for under a year and the flooring should not be the way it is right now.

I am really sorry to write this review because when I first purchased my house I was so happy with it. I love the area. I love the layout of my house. But after a few years, I feel like I have been scammed. My home is showing signs of steeping and I have reached out to the warranty department over 5 times in the last 2 months. I have not received a single response. I get sent to dead ends. This is serious stuff. I'm worried about the safety of those in my home as the years go on. It would be nice to have them return my calls. Instead, I'm sure someone will respond to this review telling me to fill out ANOTHER warranty form, and then never get a response.Avoid Oakwood at all costs. It will be more of a headache than an investment.Update: After writing this review Oakwood reached out to me. They apologized for not getting back to me and they sent someone the next week. All is well. I give them a 4 star because of my precious experience, they need to improve their process of getting customers to the right people. But I do appreciate their response once I left this review.

Oakwood homes is not responsive to the community needs. They completely block and ignore valid request for landscaping services and amenities. They market this carefree lifestyle which is simply not the case. it's honestly ridiculous what this organization gets away with. Do not buy a home from them and do not believe that they will provide any lifestyle services. Go elsewhere.

Been in an Oakwood home for 4 years now. Once in your home, they could not care less about their buyers. They are dishonest about their warranty. It is like pulling teeth to get them to come out to evaluate things that need to be fixed. Then, they refuse to fix anything and pass it off as home owners responsibility. We upgraded to the nicest quartz countertops available. Within weeks we saw issues with them, seams coming apart, and cracks. Oakwood refuses to replace them and blamed us. The baseboards started coming apart at the seams- Oakwood refused to fix and said it was a homeowner issue. Our walls were finished with the lightest coat of texturing and paint. Because of this the walls dent so easily. Plus the drywall is thin and cheap. Their slogan includes the phrase of creating luxury homes - but the materials are cheap and when things fall apart so quickly they blame the home owner. This has been the same experience with many of our neighbors as well. So much so- that we all thought about putting signs in our yards not to build with Oakwood. It's really too bad how poorly they treat buyers. The positive aspect of Oakwood is working with the design team and the floor plans are great. However, we will never build with Oakwood again. The quality just does not match the price and they just have treated us so poorly once we got into the home.

I have lived in an Oakwood Homes home for 7 years and it has been one problem after another since day one. MAJOR construction defects, poor response, when they actually do come to do a repair, it's poor quality and in one particular instance (the floors on my second floor were all hilly like a carnival funhouse) my house was left in mid-repair state for over 2 months (like furniture in my hall because floors had been torn up) and in the end, the problem was improved but not solved. When I try to work with Oakwood Homes, they are either extremely difficult or ignore me completely. I have had leaky roof problems, areas of the home weren't painted, etc...I was nickel and dimed for everything (cheap carpet poorly laid, cheap paint, etc.). Buyer beware.Services: Home building

I highly suggest looking into their HOA policy regarding Xeriscaping. This is a corrupt money hungry company that doesn’t care about the environment in anyway. They need to give their profits to an environmental organization in the states they do business.

Please learn from our mistakes and NEVER do business with Oakwood Homes. They are infuriating to deal with. Our home was built so poorly. We just had a fire start in our dryer vent and come to find out they roofed over the top of the dryer vent so no air was escaping. They told us they'd refund us for fixes, but after we paid for them they told us unless the receipt is in PDF format, they can't do anything about it. After sending it in PDF format they said, "We'll see what we can do." We have lived in our home for a year and a half now. Their warranty department is still yet to perform the tasks that they promised they'd fix at our 10-month walk through. They keep on promising they'll schedule people and never follow through. We've even hired some of our own sub contractors to come fix pressing matters and all of them tell us that Oakwood Homes is the worst homebuilder in Utah. Like I said before, PLEASE learn from our terrible mistake and run the other way from this company.Service: Home building

Building with Oakwood as been a horrible experience, I desperately wish we wouldn't choose a different builder. They have lied about so many many thing. Starting with the fact we were told our home would be completely June 2021 here we are January 2022 and it's still not done. Anytime we try to get clear answers or talk about our concerns all they respond with is roundabout BS responses that don't even answer our questions or address our concerns. It has been nothing but delay after delay. Meanwhile, other homes that were purchased AFTER ours have been built and finished for months now. And now interest rates are climbing and they won't let us lock our rate in, unless doing so at our own risk if more delays our. It seems like assuming that risk is the VERY LEAST they could so given the MASSIVE delays that have put so much hardship and uncertainty into our lives especially in regard to our current house situation and childcare status that are having to constantly be changed because our move in date is always being pushed back.

Oakwood homes are the worst quality built homes I’ve ever encountered. I hate working on them and would never allow anyone I know to buy a home built by them. Walls are like waves and so are the floors. Trying too work on them makes a four hour day into an 8 hour day because they are so badly built. I feel bad for anyone who gets ripped off buying one these low quality over priced houses. Oakwood, please have some better quality standards! Please…

We worked with Heidi as our interior designer. Let me just say....She is the BEST. She is honest and soooo patient. The amount of help she gave us was enormous. WHEN YOU BUY AN OAKWOOD HOME ASK FOR HEIDI. I promise you won’t regret it.
