This spring has been a devastating season for me since earwigs destroyed all our vegetables. I started lots of them in March (they also ate all the ones we bought.) I stopped by West Side today and see how much their vegetable starts are. The woman generously offered them for free. “The owners of this nursery are beyond knowledgeable and helpful! I wanted a vine that could grow well on our shady north side of the house (ivy?) No, they said that may not thrive but had a male and female kiwi variety (Arctic Beauty) that they said will do great! It is doing awesome so far! Also they sold us years back a beautiful Brandon Elm that is absolutely thriving. Then we wanted a ground cover for under our pines (Irish moss doing great everywhere else except under the pines) and they recommended some Sweet Woodruff. They special ordered it for us then held it for over a week while we were away on vacation. Prices can't be beat and quality and customer service can't be matched in my opinion.
