DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR JEWELRY! DONT LEAVE ANYTHING WITH THEM. CALL AROUND AND GET OTHER QUOTES. ABSOLUTE SCAM.If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I have never felt this taken advantage of. Read the other reviews here and on yelp. I’ve had my ring for less than 5 years and had nothing but problems. My final straw was being charged $600 for prong retipping and rhodium dipping. Double the amount every other jeweler in the valley charges? I went in to better understand the pricing and was asked to leave the store for “insulting” them by inquiring about the pricing. They continued asking to see the ring and take it to the back and I refused to take it off my finger. They then said if you don’t trust our work we don’t want you as a customer. I 1000% agree. I definitely will NOT be coming back. Need a jeweler I can trust that stands by their work with warranty’s and transparent pricing.

Mike is one of the most knowledgeable in the business! He was more than happy to help me design the perfect ring and share information about how the process works!

Love Mike’s Custom Jewelry! My husband gave Mike a sketch of a gold ankle bracelet he wanted to give me for our 50th anniversary. Wonderful surprise! Mike made sure it was perfect. His staff were kind, friendly and professional. Thank you MIKE! You are the best❣️

BEWARE WORST JEWELER IN UTAH! Mike is one of the shadiest salesmen I’ve seen. He had originally made a deal with me to do some side work for him, meanwhile I had just been married, and been hunting for 2 weeks with basically no service. He tried to reach me two times is all, and then proceeded to say in a voicemail that he was “coming for me” which I DO NOT take lightly! He then proceeded to answer zero of my phone calls or texts. Sent me a letter in the mail giving me 10 days or he was sending me to collections. He originally told me he was going to throw in my wife’s wedding band in (as a kind gesture since he knew one of my family members well) then changed his mind and acted like that never happened, throwing me out another $1200. Long story short he’s shady, dishonest, a scam artist, and does terrible work. I’m absolutely not happy with the way he does work or runs his business! DO NOT go to Mikes

I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works here is very friendly and knowledgeable. My fiance and I are both wearing wedding bands that we purchased here. I also sport diamonds in my teeth that I purchased here. These guys have unique and very beautiful pieces of jewelry and they offer great financing and reasonable prices. They are so much better to deal with than big commercial type Jewelers. I just love them!

I brought in my birthstone ring that my parents gave me 40 years ago. I had them replace the prongs because they were showing wear. I have worn this beautiful ring day and night and through A LOT of rugged activity of all varieties over the decades..I didn't want to lose my stone. I was originally pleased with the new setting/prongs and went on my way. The other day I noticed, after wearing it for only 7 months, that a prong was missing and my stone was gone! No idea how this could have happened on a normal day with no rugged activity. I took it back in the very next day and asked them how this could have happened. It seemed the replacement prongs do not have the strength of my originals, thus causing a prong to break and my stone lost somewhere along the way. Somehow this happened within an 8 hour period of time . He was understanding, yet said, "you obviously snagged it on something." I do not believe I could have had such a forceful snag, enough to break off a good quality soldering job after reviewing my day. Especially when i had gone 40 years through knocking and banging and snagging it hundreds of times! I asked him to please cover replacing the stone and resetting it for me. He stated he would reset it for free but I would have to buy a new stone. I asked him if he would meet me half way on the stone, as I believe it must have been a weakness in the metal or the soldering, or something, to cause a prong to break like that, after no snag, especially with no such force. He said he could not. They were nice, respectful and tried to be understanding, as I was, but they insisted. I will not be taking my business there in the future.

I needed work done on my ring. They charge top-dollar and yet I had to bring it back twice because it wasn't done correctly. Now getting work done on the same ring and the jewelry repair shop owner said they didn't even get it right the first time. Don't get jewelry repaired here. Go to a repair shop. Horrible experience!

Long story short, I inherited diamonds from my grandmother and we wanted to rearrange them in a custom setting for my wife. Mike looked at the diamonds for less than a second, told us he couldn't build a ring with with our diamonds cause they were too "small" and then quoted us over $2,000 for a new ring and bigger diamonds. We promptly got out of there and went to J Brooks down the street and they did the exact job we wanted for less than $1,000 dollars. Mike's is a rip off and he cares about making a quick buck than making the jewelry you want.

So we went to several places. One of them says on the commercials, he went to? You know who. They were so expensive. Went to mikes custom jewelry. And NO problem’s. A lot more affordable. So the other day my wife looks at her ring and sees it is getting lose. So again I take it to mikes custom jewelry. And they warranted it. So Freaking cool. They said no charge!!! That’s Amazing. That’s customer service at its best. I’m a lifer. No need to go anywhere else. These guys and ladies hit it out of the park.

I made the mistake of taking one of my rings somewhere closer to my house to get redipped and won’t make that mistake again. I’ve always been really happy with the speed and quality of Mike’s. I’m incredibly detail oriented and they are too. They even fixed a pavé stone that the other jeweler knocked out and tried to fix. I’ve waited over a decade to get things fixed/adjusted on my ring to wear it again and Mike had it all done within the day! I’m not sure what the problem was with the other jeweler’s rhodium plating but Mike’s is so SO much whiter and stays on longer. I still can’t believe the difference!

Went in yesterday with my kids to look for a "simple diamond pennant necklace" for my wife for christmas. We didnt find anything in the case we liked, so the sales woman said she would be able to "put something together that could be ready by Christmas".Ok, cool...she disappeared for a bit and came back with 3 diamonds... Each was well into $10k+ category.WOW,WOW,WOW,WOWShe never asked me about the price point i was in for, the shape, color, cut, quality or any requested expectations. she looked at me and PRESUMED i was in for $10k+ (yeah, im an old white guy) and made HER decision what i was going to buy.I will never go to Mikes again. Period.Mike, I hope you're listening.
