Had a fantastic experience with Jake. Bought a car initially. Turns out I didn’t like it so much. Jake worked with me to get me the car I really loved. Appreciate you guys at Mike Hale to the maximum. Also Jake, thank you for always answering my calls, even after hours. And 40 mpg all the way home ❤️

Was originally looking to purchase a 2024 Acura TLX Type S. Was told that I was not able to order one, so they would put me on a waiting list until the car with my options and color choice arrived. Sales person told me that could take upwards of several months or longer. They told me they required a non-refundable $1000 deposit. For that non-refundable deposit, I was not allowed to drive the car as they didn't have one to drive, or even sit in, or see the car!
Went to have some maintenance work done on the Acura that I currently own, and the price they quoted me was over $700 above Jody Wilkinson's price?♂️ When I mentioned the better price at Jody Wilkinson's they immediately did offer a price match. But what bothered me was their efforts to try and stick it to me before I told them their competitors price.
So at Acura:
They did not have any of the TLX Type S’s in so that I could do a test drive, or see or sit in.
They told me that the TLX Type S was not available to order
They would not budge below MSRP.
Went over to BMW:
Multiple variations and models right there that you can test drive as frequently as you like.
Was able to order exactly the options and color choices that I wanted.
And on the vehicle that I ended up ordering, I end up getting $3000 below MSRP.?♂️

I have had an amazing experience with the service department here. I actually didn’t even buy my car here and they have still gone above and beyond to take care of me. I will absolutely buy my next car here, because of how well I’ve been treated. Sean has communicated with me so well about what’s going on with my car. I’m so grateful and happy about my experience with Mike Hale. Thank you!!

Wait until you read the excuses of the managers!! Hahah.
Now that I own an Acura, I thought I would try and get oil changes done at Mike Hale Acura in Murray. Bad idea!
Facts: Upon completion of my oil change July 2024(includes an overall check of your car) I had to decide if I was just going to pay for the one that day or a three pack of oil changes. It saved a little bit of money in the long run. I bought the three pack for $180. I really had hoped to get established at a dealership that knew how to work on Acuras. I am proactive in my maintenance schedules and keep good records.
I was told by the service rep that my transmission fluid needed to be changed and that my brake fluid was dirty. He priced those out for me and I told him not to do them because I wanted to check my records to see the last time I had done them. I had both of those things done in April fora much better price, less than 7000 miles ago and they were just fine. He also told me that my battery was testing weak. I went and had it checked afterwards and it is perfect. Upon leaving the dealership, and with the information they gave me, I learned that I had been deceived and lied to. Creeps!
Since I no longer trust that dealership, I called and asked if I could change my pricing plan and get a credit back for $100 and not do the other two oil changes. It took all day for them to return my call and they said they’re not set up to give refunds. They said they could do it, but it was difficult and they didn’t wanna do it. Hahaha.
There’s a lot of other stuff but it doesn’t add to the story so I’m leaving it out.
Bad publicity from this review might cost them more than the $100 that they wouldn’t return to me. I don’t trust them and I wouldn’t take my car back there for anything. So I lost $100 to STUPID TAX (stupid on my part).
They must really need the money. Poor things. I’d be willing to update and add a paragraph at the end of this story if they change their mind and decide to offer the refund.

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I feel like the only way I can get my problems resolved is by leaving the story here. I bought a used TLX back on April 8. The only good part of my experience was working with Mark Sneed. Every other person I have interacted with has made the experience worse. The finance guy added a warranty to my paperwork that I declined. He also told me that I was not able to order a custom license plate in their office and would have to do it on my own after my standard license plate came. When I came back the next day to finish my payment, the numbers were off by thousands because he added the warranty. I paid the agreed amount and asked paperwork to be emailed. All the paperwork sent had the incorrect higher amounts so my books don't match the receipts. I never received my license plates in the mail. In the middle of May I get a phone call that the car had never had an emissions test done so I would have to bring it back in to their location or pay for one. Inconveniently, I drove from Saratoga Springs to Murray to have it done only to be told that the car "wasn't ready." So even though I had been driving it for over a month the test couldn't be performed that day. The service guy told me I need to rally the car for the weekend and keep the RPM's over 4500 as much as possible to reset the cycle. So I took the car and did what I was asked. I brought it back after the weekend again from Saratoga Springs to Murray and was able to get a successful emissions test passed. One silver lining was finding out that I actually COULD order the custom license plate through the dealership so they helped me with that. I still haven't been able to get corrected paperwork with the accurate amounts even after multiple phone calls to the dealership. The last one was Friday being told they will call me back and never receiving a phone call from the finance person. Because of the delay in selling me a car that never had the emissions tested, I still don't have my license plates that I ordered. Hopefully I will get some sort of resolution before July comes and never have to work with Mike Hale Acura again.

I have taken my Acura twice now to be serviced. The first time they said they rotated the tires but we marked one and they didn’t rotated them! My husband called and they didn’t do anything. I just took it in this week for a service hoping it was just a one time bad experience. My front passenger side tire has had a slow leak but they didn’t say anything when they supposedly rotated them but again they didn’t rotate them because it still has the slow leak where we found a screw. It makes me nervous that they didn’t do the rest of the stuff either???

I usually don't go to fancier dealerships, I feel dismissed because I look different than the usual customer. But the sales rep was very kind, took me seriously and gave me a fair offer. As I walked around the show room I almost bumped into a worker that came around the corner. I said "Hey my bad, I was looking at the car." He completely didn't acknowledge anything and huffed away. I get it, we all have bad days. When the sales rep came back with the offer, I said I had to think about it and if he could ask the sales manager one last question about my trade-in. I could see and hear the sales manager very loudly scoff and rudely shut down my question, toss my keys to the sales rep, and pretty much wanted me gone. Sales rep came back and asked if I had heard what his answer was. Of course! Who couldn't hear that older man's fragile ego be challenged? No apology or anything was given. Sales rep even asked if I would still like to get a call about our deal, I said No and thanked for his time. The nice thing about working in customer service is you meet many people and I will always let them know to never do business with Mike Hale Acura.
