Very aesthetic place and bath bombs

I was first introduced to Lush by my daughter, who started there as a floor lead during the holiday season of 2023. She was passionate about the product and was eager to be part of a team that boasted such caring sentiments towards humanity and the environment. She is mentioned by name in your Google reviews with 5 star service provided.
I found the product to be pricey, but with the company’s so-called support for all people, I paid that price. Between me and another family member we spent hundreds there over her 8 month employment.
I attended an expensive ($50/ 2 people) bath bomb making event for Mother’s Day with my husband to support her and the business. I watched her confident, professional and knowledgeable in explaining her part of the process. She genuinely enjoyed what she did.
Unfortunately, as with all jobs, there are personality conflicts.
In a matter of months, I watched her go from a passionate, excited employee to depressed and anxious to go to work. This was mostly due to a male coworker, 10+ years her senior, who refused to work with her on a level that is generally expected by a coworker.. It is extremely difficult to do your job when you are ignored and it was intimidating. ( she also saw on the night she quit/was terminated that said employee was viewing her Instagram stories, despite never being connected to one another on that platform. With this individual never being interested in getting to know her as a coworker, it felt weird to her and made her uncomfortable. To you, I kindly request you cease any and all contact with her going forward or I will find out who the GM is and address the issue myself)
Additionally, there’d be times when people called out of work, leaving my daughter, a young woman, mopping/closing the store until after 10 pm (around a half dozen times). It was concerning and felt unsafe that they allowed her to be there alone and leave late. As her mother, I always felt they should’ve had a back up procedure in place to close in a pair for safety reasons. She too didn’t feel safe but pressed on because she liked her job.
After exhausting all avenues, however, towards conflict resolution that led nowhere (there was supposed to be a conflict resolution meeting with a manager that never happened), I suggested she reach out to corporate HR. There were no resources that she or I could find. As a result, she felt it was not longer a safe and healthy work environment and put in her two weeks. They terminated her on the spot.
There are too many good substitutes to Lush that are less pricey to justify supporting this company that states their care, but has neither a plan for conflict resolution nor makes professional attempts towards constructive criticism on how to be a better employee. We all need effective (and respectful) management when we’re starting off on our career as a young adult.
I do not recommend, unfortunately. They are too expensive and they do not practice what they preach, which is disheartening. This is not a business that treats all with respect.

Alex, Brooklyn and Zakk are wonderful party hosts! We had a blast on a Saturday morning reunion making bath bombs at Fashion Place. Five Stars plus Five more stars!!!!

I have been buying Lush for 30ish years and I just had the best experience at a store ever. I visited with my 8 year old, who is also a big fan of lush. Marissa (I'm not sure of the spelling), treated my daughter like a VIP customer. She was so patient with her, and educated us on so many products. My daughter felt so loved on, and I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate that. While she already loved Lush, this experience will stick with her forever, and make her a customer for life. Thank you.

Marissa was so awesome! She had the absolute best recommendations! She was so sweet and welcoming. All the new bath bombs were incredible! She showed is the orange fish Bath bomb and the sparkly swirls were beautiful. We tried the orange scrub and it was so amazing! Our visit was super special because of Marissa today for my daughters 12th Birthday! Lush is our go to place for bath, body and face care!

Such a good time! The employees are very very respectful and me and my friends spent about an hour and a half just trying all the samples and spelling soaps. Thank Lush!!! ???

What a wonderful event. Zakk, Marisa and Alex were so amazing. They were so knowledgeable about everything and were very accommodating in answering questions and helping find products to help what i was looking for. 10/10 recommend this store.

I always have the best experience here! I use so many of the products and they are always well made and incredible. I couldn’t pick just one. Chrissi has always been so helpful and kind with my orders and getting me the products I need. You won’t be disappointed going here.
