Fantastic Shop! Melvin and his son have a wonderful shop. I just bought my first Mercedes and was looking for a friendly and reliable shop. When I brought my car to the shop to ask a couple of questions they said "Let's just throw it up on the lift and take a look". It was easy to see that both of them are passionate about Mercedes and doing quality work. They walked me through all the points I should be paying attention to on my car i,e,. known issues. Right away the son noticed that the transmission mount needed replacement. He asked if I was feeling a vibration when shifting I said "Yes". I assumed it was the flex disc(s) but it wasn't. The flex discs are significantly more money to replace and I'm happy they found the correct (and less expensive) fix. Today I brought my car back and they efficiently and at a fair price replaced the transmission mount. There is no more vibration in my drive and the car is driving so smooth! The son could tell I was pretty passionate about cars and he asked "Do you want to see my personal project car?" I was so stoked to see (see image in this post) how he cleaned and painted the intake and transmission for his personal project car. It shows me how much he genuinely cares about the cars. Totally stoked to have such a great shop near me. 5 star rating!

I can’t say enough good things about these guys! I had such a hard time finding someone who actually knew how to work on my 73 450SL. I found these guys and they are the best in the business!

Mel is such a good down to earth guy. If you own an older Mercedes definitely talk to him before a dealer

These guys are great, very honest and do excellent work. I needed to get engine brackets and they got it done in half the time that I was quoted, And for about half the price the dealer wanted. Thank you Melvin! I'll be definitely be back again!

Mel at German Car Servicer in one of the most honest guys I know. I called him with some questions regarding a potential purchase of a Mercedes. It was a new model. I wasn't sure what to think about it. Mel took the time to call some other dealers on the East Coast that were more familiar with this model.I totally believe Mel has saved me an enormous headache, and help in avoiding a money pit. He didn't charge me for the great advice.There's no question why Mel and German car service have such excellent reviews. Mel, Zack and his guys are real nice and honest guys. I’ve taken both my AMG and my old 280se there for engine work and more. I actually had an employee at a Mercedes dealership recommend these guys. She told me they had more experienced mechanics. She was right! These guys were great!I have a 20 year old car with extremely low mileage. But the vacuum system to unlock the car and trunk would go out. Also, leaking air strut, etc... I really feel like my car is finally fixed.The dealership had free donuts and a real nice lounge. These guys are better at fixing your car and their prices are lower. The choice is simple. I'm glad I went to German Car Service and will go here in the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance
