Ordered a very expensive table and chairs which I received email and text confirmation of delivery today, 9/21 between 4:30-6:30pm. Never received a phone call and the link provided just keeps pushing delivery time back. I tried calling the number provided and now receive an automated message that they are closed and the store doesn’t answer. My Saturday has been ruined. Cancelled tee times and plans all for a new table that I have yet to receive. I also removed my existing table in preparation for the new one. Really disappointing when I contemplated going with West Elm or Pottery Barn.

Previous was ok. Not as good at RH but still ok furniture. But their shipment team is weird and last time they made me very uncomfortable. I ordered a mirror and when they send to me it’s always broken. (Send 3 times) Then the ship guy complained to me like it’s my fault. Since their weird attitude, I asked my sales canceled all of my future orders. Feel scared of upset shipment.

Nothing I have bought from Crate and Barrel has lasted more than a year. I bought a white, canvas laundry bag and the handle immediately separated from the body the first time I hoisted it up. An expensive linen duvet cover has lost nearly all the buttons because of cheap, crappy thread, one of them even shattered on contact with the floor one day when putting the duvet on the bed. Not even a year after buying higher end pillowcases one of them ripped a huge hole after wearing down rapidly in the wash. I bought a spatula with a wood handle and a silicon top and after about six months of excellent care it's gone wobbly and is about to separate. A really nice looking serving spoon with copper coated handle and white silicon top deteriorated in a matter of months with the entire copper coating peeling off even though I took care to wash it by hand and never put it in the dishwasher (even though directions say it can be put in the dishwasher). DO NOT BUY from C&B, their products are only made to look nice and you will be replacing them very soon after.

Bought a couple of night stands. Brought them home and opened them. One was perfect the other had a bunch of defects. Asked them to make an exchange. The one they brought to me looked like someone else’s exchange wrapped in shrink wrap to make it seem new. After months of waiting for them initially and months before the exchange it’s upsetting that this is the result. I’d expect a lot better especially for $1200. Pretty upsetting that this seems to be the new norm. Charge a lot and offer subpar.

Poor quality furniture, overpriced, and bad customer service. I bought some chairs and a table here. Everything was delayed for months. The table got delayed so many months, I just kept the chairs and ordered another table from somewhere else. After a little over a year, the "leather" on one of the chairs was peeling off on one side. It appeared to be a defect. I called customer service and got an email to submit pictures, which I did. Then I got a cut and paste email reply saying the table (which I didn't order from them) looked like it had normal wear and tear and they would not replace or offer any credit for it or the chair. In other words, I'm not sure how much consideration was actually given to the obvious defect in the chair material. In any event, there are plenty of better furniture stores with better quality products and customer service. I recommend you go elsewhere.Update: I called their customer service again like the reply to this review said to. The representative simply reiterated that there was nothing they can do. So in addition to being a seller of overpriced and poor quality furniture, their response suggests they only pretend to want to help online even though they have no intention of doing so. Again, there are lots of better places to go than here.

There are some things you just cannot find some place else. If you are looking for items for your kitchen and home, Crate & Barrel has a very comprehensive selection.It may be worth some time online to find the things you might want. Sometimes it won’t be at the store. Yet it is often nice to be able to walk through the store and get inspired bu what you see.We found a bookshelf at the store weLoved, and ordered it online. Delivery was pricey. After watching two people struggle I had to explain to the delivery people how to put the bookshelf together. Overall, I am happy.At the store, you might have to be a little patient to find the help you need. When you do find someone, they do a great job trying to help you. If you shop here, it’s not for the best price. You shop here for the quality and service.

Worst customer service we have ever experienced. We have had 4 pick up dates scheduled for 4 chairs that we ordered (and of course they only give you options about 2 weeks out that are all on weekdays between 8 and 3:30 to pick up items). Over the 4 pick up date options, we only received 1 of the 4 chairs. They don’t tell you why they don’t have things or when they will come in. And do not contact you to reschedule pickups either. Do not order from Crate and Barrel. You will never receive your items. We will be reporting this company to the better business bureau.

Love Crate & Barrel. Just walking there makes me happy. I love kitchenwares and drinkwares there. They look nice for the price tag. Some plates, if not white, are easily scratched though. Order online and pick up in store is (supposed to be) convenient but there are times when they ask you to come to pick one piece one day (they will hold your order for 7 days) then another one on a different day, which is annoying and time consuming to keep going to the store.
