I've banked with Bank of American fork for many years , even when they changed to Alta bank ! The day i visited the Alta bank in Murray it had been robbed minutes before i got there it was closed i went to the bank (Alta) in Draper, Ut. I got what i needed done quickly and went back to work i was on my lunch break that day

Been with BaF / Altabank for years. Years. A few years back we spaced paying on a $300 credit card balance. Completely covered it and paid it off in the weeks thereafter. Totally miscommunication between me and my wife. Totally on us that we missed the payment. Of course they immediately reported it and it’s been a credit score ding for years. Trying to refinance our home, we asked them this week for a goodwill reconsideration of their reporting of that one missed payment. It makes a significant difference on the interest rate we are offered. They say no way - It is honest reporting on their end and they refuse to reconsider. Sad they feel that way about their clients. I will walk 1000 miles barefoot to make and keep a client happy. Altabank feels otherwise. I’m sure banks are banks, but met with another local bank and they feel more interested in their relationships.

I have an account here that I don't use very often and doesn't have that much money in it. But if you don't use your account it turns out that they steal $5 per month for an inactive account fee. Sneaky and crooked theft... Not what Bank of American Fork used to be, I'll never use them again.

Please, please carefully review and note the reviews. They used to be very customer driven, and have since become vert stringent/strict with NO flexibility for former Good long-term customers. Worst Bank I've ever used. The app never works and when I call the 24 hr Banking line it doesnt recognize my account number. I can never access my account after hours unless I go to an ATM which us hella inconvenient.

I have banked with bank of af for years and years now and they really are a great bank. However, the Murray branch's customer service is one of the worst I have seen... I ALWAYS wait at least 15 min in the drive - thru JUST until someone says can I help you. I don't get talked to before that. I come to this branch because my work is 5 min away from it. But because of the CS experience that I have received every single time, I'm probably not going to that branch anymore. If you're so short staffed, or whatever, at least have the courtesy to let us know it will be a minute before you can get to us (me).

Terrible customer service. Went in for a simple transaction and they wasted 30 minutes of my time. I would bank at Zions or America First.
