Customer service there is not the best. Would not recommend. Talked to a lady, think she said her name was Kathy and she gave me complete attitude, not friendly at all! Huge bummer ?

Front desk was not friendly, helpful or knowledgeable. Luckily another employee beats our question and came over and helped out. Showed us where everything is and gave some good and friendly advice.

If I were to compare the Ace Hardware in Murray to an animal it would be that of a platypus, but even that may be giving them to much credit. One of the most popular facts about a platypus is, as a mammal, its ability to lay eggs. This is similar to that of the Ace Hardware in Murray in the sense of the rotten egg it laid when it came to the pitiful attempt to fix my weed wacker. I dropped said weed wacker off to be fixed with the assumption that my device would be promptly returned as it was frustratingly not starting, that was two and a half weeks ago. Since then I believed that the reason that it may be taking as long as it did was because the team at Ace was working diligently around the clock with communication relayed to me of parts being ordered, to fix it, as the weeds in my yard continued to grow aggressively. Turns out that, like the platypus that was first introduced in 1790, this attempt at my weed wacker was seen just as scientist saw the platypus, a hoax. When I showed up to retrieve my weed walker earlier today I was confidently met at the cash register by a young man who claimed that he had put fresh gas into it and that it had started right up. Again, a contradiction to the before said claim of ordering parts similar to that of the anatomy of a platypus. After leaving the store, excited to rid my lawn of the weeds that had infested it over the past two weeks I had the sudden thought to double check if my weed destroying toy would actually start. Many attempts later and the sudden notion to check the gas tank, I realized the gas level was the same as when I dropped it off, two weeks ago. Just as how a platypus can detect electrical fields I also began to detect something…fishy. It was then when I realized that this man that had so confidently told me about how he had started it the day prior, and the parts they had claimed to have ordered for me, had been lying. This man was again similar to the platypus in the sense that neither of them have a true stomach, but where this is a evolutionary phenomenon for said mammal, this other mammal lacked the stomach to tell me to my face that they had, in fact, not done a thing to fix my weed wacker. I again was as flabbergasted as the scientist who first discovered the platypus but unlike them, have come to a different conclusion. That conclusion being that the Ace Hardware in Murray is incompetent when it comes to their claims of fixing machines. Instead they’d rather keep a tool that could have been fixed by a more professional establishment for two weeks and lie about the work that they claimed to do to it. I’d like to think that this particular Ace establishment is similar to the platypus in the sense of also being one of a kind but that to is up for questioning.

I went in on Monday and Jeff was working and I had the best experience going to that Ace Hardware. After my last experience When I was a maintenance tech for EOS fitness Last year and March I had nothing but horrible service. Thanks to Jeff, I can gladly say that I will be coming back again.

A friend of mine bought a natural gas Weber grill. Ace was late on the delivery but these things happen. The delivery person attempted to connect the grill to the gas line. After a trip to the store for parts he installed the parts and left . After he left my friend called me because she could smell gas. He left with a gas leak, no gas to the grill and the gas left on. WOW. When I got there could smell gas 100 ft away. Being a master plumber didn’t take long to discover the problems. Male Flare fittings were used to adapt to the existing gas lines that is totally wrong and dangerous. Anyone with any knowledge would not make this potentially dangerous mistake. The Ace fellow ruined the flex gas hose and the quick disconnect I went to the Ace store and they did replace the damaged parts but did charge for the parts to make it right.
Bottom line
Natural gas leaks are dangerous
Unqualified people should not be allowed connect gas equipment
Ace had a pretty big liability problem
MOST DISAPPOINTING THING IS THAT THERE WAS NEVER A APOLOGY.

Terrible customer service. I was completely ignored by the guy up front. He said he was too busy, but I observed him walking around and even reading. Not coming back to this place!

Terrible experience tried going here because Walmart and Home Depot get all the customers. I had to chase down an employee named vax ignored me for the first 30 minutes didn’t greet or say hello not a word while they made me three keys. Very rude customer service not a fan I’ll be back you’re down the street from my house I hope Vax makes a real effort to improve their customer service skills.

Rude employees when I was trying to buy a sanding block and spakle for drywall.Was told multiple times I was wrong about an inventory item I'd previously purchased there by a different employee while checking out.Will not shop here again
