Loose dogs. Apparently the current host and manager are ok with campers having dogs off leash. I am not. I don't appreciate having loose dogs charge at me and my dog. That is a problem for me that could result injuries and ruin a vacation. Other than dealing with charging loose LARGE dogs the shade, location and price make it a good stop along the way through Utah

Stayed 3 nights. We had a 110v electric problem just after checking in. Jon came down to troubleshoot, was not an on-site issue. Have us another sit. Spotless baths and laundry. They are upgrading infrastructure which is need. Good pet!

Bernie the manager was SO RUDE. I couldn’t believe the disrespect and immaturity from this man. Immediately upon walking up to Bernie and asking to pay for a shower he started giving me attitude and assuming I was going to steal more than 1 shower. I took that 1 shower that I paid for and came back the next week for another shower, he refused my money and had me trespassed. I don’t know what this man’s problem is but I would highly recommend steering clear of the Westerner none the less. Check out the Old West RV park right up the street instead.

Terrible experience with the Manager Bernie... here is the story:Muti week camping in the area and decided to get a shower. Paid for the shower and out of nowhere Bernie disrespectfully addresses the other passengers in my car by acussing them of taking showers without paying (was not happening - I was the only one taking a shower). Bernie went inside to make change for the $10 shower. When he came back, my passenger decided to address the misunderstanding by reassuring that only I was using the showers. Bernie immediately responded with "ok. Here is what we are going to do, I am going to go get your $20 and you can leave or I will call the cops and have you trespassed." Like what??? What caused that??? I pleaded with Bernie to just let me shower, but he refused and marched back into the office to get the $20. He returned and I very calmed explained that I did not understand why he was refusing service and his response... "because this is a business and I can" I explained that this does not make sense since I have already paid for the service and had nothing to do with whatever he was upset about. He eventually agreed to allow me to shower and then because we made a comment that we would be reviewing our experience, he than went back to denying service. Being done with this incompetence, I drove away from him and went into the shower facility. Upon exiting the shower building, the sheriff was there and informed me that I had been tresspassed from the property.I go into such detail to hopefully educate the owner of this business that your manager, Bernie, has a lot customer service training needed. I have been in management of customer service related businesses most of my life. I would be appalled to know that one of my employees is treating people with such disrespect. In my opinion, Bernie should never have interactions with customers. In conclusion, maybe Bernie was having a bad day??? I am inclined to think that he is just looking for a chance to fight. Shame on you Bernie... someone should teach you that customers are why you have a job and treating them with respect is the basics of taking care of customers. I will never be back (remember I am trespassed). I would strongly recommend heading just down the street to Mountain View RV Park and Campground. Word on the street is they are nice and volatile Bernie isn't there.

Nice, well maintained rv park. Bernie was attentive and really helpful. Smaller park about 50 miles due south of Moab. Close to Canyonlands National Park.

This is an RV park not a hotel. The park is undergoing some upgrades and the late snow in early April didn't help them much. The Host, a young man, was very helpful with area attractions and directions. There's not a lot to do in Monticello UT but there were cool things to do not far from the park. Edge of the Cedars, is one such place. The visitor center was full of artifacts. Natural Bridges National Monument is another.

Utilitarian. People are nice enough. The little town they're on the edge of has a surprisingly useful set of stores and facilities. The Thai place next door has good food but very slow service. Not far from some excellent tourist attractions. Good for the price but the spaces are small. Go in the fall and you can get all the apples you want - great for pies.

We are staying in this park now and will be here for a month while we tour the surrounding areas. It is a very small park which is perfect for us. The staff (Bernie & John) have both been amazing and very helpful. They seem to be right on top of everything and there to assist when you need them. There is road noise as the park is right on the main highway, but you get used to it quickly, and it is very quiet at night. My only concern is that the water and cable hookups are located in front of our trailer and not behind, but there were extra water spiggots on the site next door allowing us to connect there. All in all, I am certain we will be quite happy here for the month ahead!

Terrible place. The lady was extremely rude and irritated. No water pressure. There are numbers marking the RV spots but no way to know which side of the number we were supposed to park. She came walking up and my brother asked her which side and she told us “to calm down! There’s too many voices!” That’s not how you treat people!!
