The room was right and fair for what was paid. The TV worked with numerous channels, the bed was the best I've slept so far despite the low price, and the shower was hot. We didn't use the wifi.Rooms: The room was clean with the odor of cleaning products, clearly dated but functional.Nearby activities: There is a nearby park with a historic jail on it with a great story. Also a Native American store which is small and had good info.Safety: The town is clearly struggling with lots of poverty, empty buildings. I went for a walk and had a couple scary moments, which was unexpected given it's a very small town. The police stayed very busy while we were there, but the hotel didnt seem to have any issues and i assume that's due to the owners.

Pictures from the property owners are deceiving, the actual room I was put in was a lot shabbier, bathroom looked like it wasn't remodeled in a century, worn furniture, mold on the ceiling corners. TV didn't work and neither did the Wi-Fi, was tired from driving all day so I didn't bother going to ask for someone to get it fixed.

Shop around. Upon booking 6 months ago this was the only Inn available, that has since changed.Photos of this Inn are shown with the newest addition, we were located in the older section, room appeared clean until you looked around, behind the bed and tables were dead bugs, during the night woke up to mice scurrying around. Carpet was filthy !we left.

We cancelled our stay after checking in because we found bugs behind the bed. I’m pretty sure they weren’t bed bugs, but I wasn’t sure enough to stay comfortably . The staff was very friendly and understanding. They offered us a different room, but we chose to be refunded and stay somewhere else, which they did without any discussion.

This was a absolute wonderful spot , outside of overated, and overpriced Moab. Nestled in a beautiful ❤️ small town . The room was extremely comfortable with a touch of home feel , coffee in room , with the basic amenities. Best sleep ever! I will be staying again.Nearby activities: Great hiking , scenaries, and expensive overpriced -Moab. There are places to see and hike at, outside of Moab.

We were escorted out by the police after having been told we could have late check out. The manager changed her mind the next morning after mistakenly knocking on our door and waking me. The manager was unprofessional and rude. We were not able to get showers and were harrassed starting at 10 am and threatened at 11:05. We were 2 females in their late 40s - arrived at midnight to check in and went straight to bed. The manager refused to honor late checkout the next morning as promised and we left with no shower for an out of town funeral we came to. She had knocked on my door at 10 am waking me from sleep and stated she had the wrong room. I closed door without saying anything and I heard here say behind the closed door "oh wow" from that point on we had multiple phone calls and/or knocks at the door dealing with confrontation from the manager and cleaning staff. She said I gave her attitude when she had knocked on our door mistakenly (I had been sound asleep!) Check out was at 11 and she threatened to call the cops at 11:05 AND SHE DID! Cops arrived at 11:15. Remember checkout was 11 and we had been told we could have a late checkout. As far as the rooms, we only had hot water. The room smelled like mildew. The wifi didnt work. There were no fan, no a/c and were very warm. There are more people that live there, than there are open rooms for hotel/motel stay. We arrived at midnight for a funeral the next day. When we arrived, there were residents who actually live there, congregating outside in groups. It's more of an apartment complex than a hotel/motel. I wouldnt recommend taking a chance at this place.Safety: Questionable late night activity.

2nd Worst Hotel I have Ever StayedI should have known I was not going to be happy with the hotel when I arrived. When I looked at my reservation, it said check in at 1PM. I was surprised, but we showed up a bit before 2pm. When we got there the husband of the owners said check in was not until 3pm. I showed him what the reservation email confirmation showed. He said it was due to the Experian or Hotels service that I used. I told him, I did not use a hotel service. I made the reservation by calling the hotel directly. He then took a picture of my phone to prove to wife that there was an error on the check in. He then had to get his wife to figure out if they had a room available. Apparently, there was only one room ready at 2pm, and they stuck us in room 114.First off, I am not sure if all the rooms are like this, or if room 114 is just particularly in need of maintenance. When I walked in the room, there was a particular dank smell to the room, and when you walk on the carpet, it just feels foamy. At first, I thought they had just finished shampooing the carpet, but it never seems to go back to normal. The air in the room is overly heavy feeling. When I woke up the next morning, I was looking at the bathroom window, and it was foggy and dripping. There is black mold and mildew around the window. The shower is also heavy with mildew, and the shower head continues to drip. In addition, when you take a shower, the hot and cold keep switching, as if someone is constantly flushing the toilet. The hot is scalding! The sheets are so thin, they are not comfortable. I never asked them to clean the room or make the bed. The cleaning carts are out there all day, so I would go and get additional towels and toilet paper (they only provided half a roll for a three-night stay). In addition, I came home with major bumps on one of my legs, behind my ear, and on my neck. They do not appear to be bed bug bites, but something bit me in that room, and they are quite swollen. All and all a not good experience, so if you must use this hotel, make sure you check the rooms before you unpack and make sure you are satisfied with the room. And stay away from room 114.

Reasonable price. Ground level rooms with parking in front of the room. Was a great stay on my road trip. Staff is friendly. I'd definitely stay again. This is now a "location" on my road trip list of places to go again.

Very cute Motel in a small town. The internet was good, the room small but well furnished and the bathroom is really cute (pastels). The staff was really nice to us!

I really enjoyed my stay there. The bathroom was art deco, really cool! Great shower! The only detraction was that the first night was really cold because the heater is up high and warmed up the top couple feet of the room and shut off. Otherwise, if you like the single floor older motels, and I do, this is a keeper!Nearby activities: It's close to some beautiful places to see.

Great family run business. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Was there when it was twenty degrees and snowing. The AC/heat unit is behind the bathroom door so no heat or AC gets into that room. It was cold!!

This is an inexpensive motel in a small town so set your expectations accordingly and you will be happy with your stay. The facilities were dated and run down, but it was clean. The wall heater / fan is noisy and we didn't have hand soap in our room and the coffee maker didn't work -- not a deal breaker at that nightly rate for us. Water was hot (scalding if you weren't careful) and the sheets were cleaned.
