We were doing a road trip in the MidWest and the food here has been the best of our trip so far, super well seasoned and delicious.

We love Doug's BBQ. We plan our drive thru to Monticello when they are open. Sad that they close for winter season until March!

After living in the Memphis, Tennessee are for a few years, my family has pretty high barbecue standards. We’ve never found anywhere that even comes close to satisfying us until… we moved to Monticello, UT?Doug’s is incredible. The brisket and pulled pork is amazing. My go-to are the BBQ nachos… so good. All the ingredients are so fresh too. I love it.

This place is what barbecue is about! I'm staying at an Airbnb in the area for the night and was starving and needed to take my dogs on a walk as well and came across this place and had been craving barbecue. Walked down there ordered the pulled pork platter with french fries and everything is to die for. The ranch is the yummiest. Make sure you order some with the fries and the barbecue sauce is great. Also ask for an extra side of bbq sauce for takeout because they don't automatically give you too much. It's a great portion and was delicious. Sidenote, the phone number listed on yelp for some reason does not work. It says it's disconnected. I got the number from Google.

I can't even believe how delicious the food was. This is legit BBQ. The brisket melted in my mouth. The BBQ sauce was flavorful and while the brisket stands alone, the BBQ was perfect. We tried several sides and none disappointed. The potatoes au gratin...wow. I'm pretty picky with coke slaw and I'm certain this was the best I've had. On top of fantastic food, the service was equally great. Can't wait for the next visit.

After a week long river trip I was looking for some place in Monticello that could throw down a tasty, heart dinner. Doug's really delivered! The nachos were practically a meal in itself. The guacamole was top notch; the salsa was spot on. I added the Diablo Burger with a side of potatoes au gratin. (The waitress warned me that the nachos were a meal in itself. But I was really hungry.) The bun is critical in a burger and it was a good bread. The burger was generous (1/2 pound), tasty, and a perfect medium. The potatoes au gratin were delicious with excellent consistency. The place itself had a nice family ambiance. And the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I'm really glad I tried it.

This is a very authentic steak and BBQ joint! The best endorsement is that locals love it. It features a no frills environment so you focus on the important stuff: the food! We had the combo plate with brisket, St. Louis ribs, jalapeño cheese sausage, pulled pork, baked beans, Mac n cheese, and a corn muffin. Everything was juicy and delicious! Topped off with a friendly staff, I'll remember this restaurant the next time we pass through town.

The service was absolutely amazing! I place an order online (they didn’t realize their online order system was operational yet) when I call to let them know I was running late, they were surprised. She asked me what I’d ordered and when I got there everything was ready. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very chill and very clean! They also have a full bar, we can’t wait to dine in!The food……AMAZING! We had their pulled pork and brisket, it was super tender and delicious. Their au gratin potatoes and coleslaw hands down the best I’ve ever had! And I'm told by my wife that their carrot cake was one of the best she’s ever had!Overall this place is a gem we will frequent often!

We came in earlier than other customers, no one care or serve us. Instead the staffs ONLY serve their regular customers . We felt it was the race . Food is good except the poor customer service:(

The power went out all over town one evening during our stay in Moab. We decided to take a chance and drive over 50 miles to the next town. Not only did we take in more amazing Utah scenery but the first restaurant we found served the best BBQ meal we've ever had. We had the melt-in-your-mouth ribs and the brisket. Sides and BBQ sauce are delicious. Portions are so big, we got to enjoy it all over again for lunch the next day! Definitely worth the drive!!

Doug's was dope. After a very busy day up in Bears Ears, a big ol plate of BBQ meat and Mac and cheese was essentially the food of the Gods, delivered to me by Doug. The famous Crystal you see in other reviews was my server, and she was indeed great! Brisket was good, spicy BBQ sauce was great, ultra creamy mac & cheese was perfect. And I almost forgot the lemonade! I had the whiskey lemonade, and it hit the spot better than any other lemonade I've had.
