I have been trying to buy Barnes Bullets for some 8 weeks now. They are the BEST performing bullets I have ever used. 8 trips to Africa and many trips to Argentina. Unfortunately there are none to be found...What has happened ???

Have had very good success with barns in my 270 wsm. Hope I can find the latest 120 Grain VOR-TX 300 blackout factory ammo. Haven’t had luck finding them anywhere.

Best there is in my opinion. Been using the 140grains TSX for several years now. I use them in my 270win for everything from fox to redstag. Always delivers perfect performance.

I've had mixed results with Barnes bullets - both factory loaded and reloaded. Some have been absolute tack drivers and some have been underwhelming. I have shot them out of several rifles in 5 different calibers (.223 Rem., .300 Blackout, .25-06, and .308 Win., and .375 Ruger). The Vor-TX 55 grain TSX FB made a .875 inch group at 100 yards from my Ruger American rifle and the 55 grain TTSX bullet did a .5 inch group at 100 meters over a charge of H335. Factory .300 Blackout ammunition shot under an inch at 100 meters; the 130 and 150 grain TTSX in the .308 Win are unimpressive (2.5 inches or more at 100 meters). The .375 Ruger shot 270 grain TSX's under an inch at 100 meters. I haven't shot the .25-06 enough to have an opinion for that caliber. Bottom line for me: you've just got to try various things to see what works best in your rifle. I'm not generally going to spend the extra money on Barnes bullets because I am fully confident in conventional bullets for the type of hunting I do and the places I hunt. There are so many good, accurate, bullets on the market that, unless I'm hunting where lead-free bullets are required, Barnes aren't worth the extra money
