Beautiful and informative visitor center all about Arches National Park! The museum offers an experience where you can learn about the history, biology, and geology around the park.A 25 minute orientation film can be seen at the center's theater, where you can watch Windows in Time, an informative video about the arches. The gift shop has a lot in store, including stuffed animals, posters, and other types of souvenirs.Overall, great and welcoming visitor center.

Arches! I chose to visit in November and deal with the cold morning temperatures than long lines and summer heat. I’m happy I did.I got the park early and drive right in: no lines. Parked easily. Hiked on a mostly empty trails. Out by 12:40 having seen everything I wanted to see and headed to Canyonlands. Same experience.Visited Arches the next morning with the same overall experience. Arrived early, ignored the cold, and hiked beautiful trails.Delicate Arch should be your first stop as it does get crowded fairly early in the morning. Is it worth the hike? Well, follow the trail and find out. I’m guessing you won’t be disappointed. LOL

The visitor center has water filling stations for pets and humans. The sign outside the entrance is a great opportunity to take your family photo with the Arches sign. Inside, the center offers a movie and information about the park as well as various exhibits. Our party took a picture of the various sites with names of the pullouts so we could better plan our stops in the park. Reservations were not required after 4 pm.

Visitor center was nice. Ask a ranger for a Jr Ranger book and have your kids fill it out before coming back at the end of the day and they will give them a Jr Ranger badge. We went to the Windows parking area and spent about 30 minutes hiking and climbing around at the Double Arch. It was beautiful. Less busy than the windows hike. The drive out to it was quick. Maybe 20 minutes from the visitor center. There are water fill stations at the visitor center.

Enchanting Arch Amidst a Rugged Realm: A Hiker's Delight with a Pinch of PrecautionNestled in the heart of Arches National Park, Utah, the trail to Delicate Arch presents an escapade that's both exhilarating and accessible. Though officially marked as a 3-mile round trip, our trusty GPS hinted at a near 4-mile journey. With the undulating terrain, the actual foot journey weaving through the rocks could easily stretch to around four and a half miles.Timing is of the essence here. Starting your hike a couple of hours before sunset is advisable as the trail can plunge into darkness rather swiftly post-sunset. This celestial display casts a surreal glow on the arch, making the trek worthwhile.Hydration is your loyal companion on this trail. A rough guideline would be to carry at least a liter of water for each hour you anticipate being out there. And as the daylight dwindles, a flashlight could turn from a mere accessory to a necessity. The hike, while being relatively easy with about a 500 ft elevation gain, is far from technical, making it a friendly venture for individuals across ages and fitness levels. However, don't let the easiness fool you; the popularity of Delicate Arch draws a crowd, especially as the day progresses. The parking lot quickly burgeons to its brim, and the area around the arch often buzzes with photo-enthusiasts vying for that perfect shot.Planning your visit with a tint of early bird spirit could reward you with a more serene experience. The trail is also kid-friendly, extending the joy of this natural marvel to the young ones. All in all, Delicate Arch embodies a slice of Utah's rugged elegance, paired with an inviting trail that's generous to hikers, yet demands a dash of preparation. It's a spectacle that is etched against the sky, waiting to be explored and adored. The staff at the visitor centerere friendly and helpful. Make sure to get any children. You have. One of the junior ranger booklets and badges

This national park is amazing.I think the main attraction here is the delicate arch and the turret arch. loved them the most.we also came back at night to the turret arch for star gazing. absolute wonders. we bumped into other couples star gazing and made it that much more awesome.be careful at the delicate arch. can be dangerous when taking pictures. the hike there was one of my favorite.

This place is out of this world amazing. Words or pictures can not describe how unbelievable this place is. The road up the mountain is a bit tight but very smooth and well maintained. Make sure if you're going between 7am-4pm, you go online to make a reservation(it's only $30 per vehicle). We went around sunset, which was phenomenal to watch the sun disappear and the moon come out. Be sure to allow yourself enough time to explore all of the stops along the way up. The restrooms were very clean as well. The visit center was closed when we went but it looked very nice. You could easily spend a day here exploring all the trails and stops along the way up to the top.The landscape is unbelievable.Words will not be able to describe it.I'm not saying it's aliens, but it's definitely aliens. ?

Buy your reservations in advance because you lose service at the actual site. This is our second time coming. We were just passing through and always enjoy the beauty. I recommend you bring lots of water if you’re coming in the summer. It gets up to 100+ degrees. Don’t bring your pets because they’re only allowed at the campgrounds and cannot go on the trails or hike to the arches. It was great during the week because there weren’t many people. We did the smaller 15 min walk to see the delicate arch from afar. The walk is very steep, be careful.

Amazing, go early in the summer to beat the heat. The park is 24 hours so before 7 you don’t need a timed entry or park pass, it’s all FREE

19 July 2023 - 3 StarsTHIS ABOUT THE VISITORS CENTER -NOT- THE ARCHES.My 87 year old father is in a power scooter and is on oxygen. None of the ADA doors to the center worked. Both going in and coming out of the center. The bathroom are outside the building (understandable so they can be used 24/7), but having no ADA bathrooms inside the building made it very difficult on my father. The theater was very nice, but again, only a couple of ADA slots to sit, and they are in the very front and off to the side. It would be nice if some seats were near the back. The displays were nice and I enjoyed the movie about Arches. Very informative.

There are some beautiful places in this country and yup, this is one of them. My wife and I are not long haul hikers and the heat was pretty extreme so we chose 4 shorter trails to hit. Even with the heat, 101+, we made it and just enjoyed what this country has to offer. Plan ahead and prepare yourself for the weather. Cooler temps are more fun bit even the jeat can't take away this beauty.

Amazing place to see, the natural beauty of this park definitely worth the trip. If you plan to visit during the summer months, dress accordingly, and bring lots of water. It was 104 deg.outside the day we went. Several of the arches, require you to walk/hike, to get to. Also, the visitor center at the park entrance is great. I recommend going there first, before going out in the park. There is a short movie in the theater there, that plays every 10 minutesor so, that explains how all of the park was formed, and I found that helpful in understanding what I was seeing, while out in the park. Definitely recommend the visit.

This is by far one of my favorite visitor centers! They had clean restrooms( men, women, and family). They had a cute statue of animals outside the doors! Inside they had a walk through information spot! They had so much fun/ interesting information! The park rangers were super helpful, fun, and informative! The store was decently big however I have seen bigger! They also sold water by the gallon, a free water refill station was also outside near the entrance!
