This place is the best when it comes to meeting your dogs needs. The workers are very knowledgeable and informative. I came in to get some special food for my boys and the worker Jo talked my ear off for nearly 2 hours about all she knows about the different dry foods, canned food and treats that could possibly work best for my boys. And everything I got that she told me about has worked out great. Definitely coming back!

Hanzo and Penny loved Hanzo’s 7th Birthday cake and cookies. This is our second year of getting out birthday cakes for our dogs here. They are fantastic!

Hands down THE BEST place to find high quality treats for good prices. Every time I come out to SLC I will undoubtedly visit this place!I haven't tried the dog wash, but I would like to when I have the chance!

Stopped by a few days ago and had a wonderful experience. I am really trying to keep my dogs happy and healthy. I spoke with the owner for some time and she gave me wonderful tips on how to take care of my dogs. Just a handful of feeding tips and my dog is eating much better! I'm so happy. I stopped by next day and gave both my dogs a wash and the facility is great, super great price, can't say enough good about what they are doing there. Would give 6 stars if I could.

I called ahead to see if a product was available. New employee said yes , it was . So I took time and gas to drive up to purchase the dog lead. Got there and nope, didnt have what they just told me they had. Not apologetic at all. Will not be going back there !

We love Ma & Paws! They use quality ingredients for their treats and their staff are always helpful. Our dog has a sensitive stomach and we were struggling with him not liking the food the vet suggested. (Very picky husky problems.) The staff at Ma and Paw's listened to our concerns and suggested specific food and probiotics to help his tummy. We haven't had any problems since and the picky eater has no complaints! We tried out their new dog wash stations today and we were pleasantly surprised by how easy everything was! We loved that we didn't have to break out backs trying to wash the dog in the bathtub, and it made it even better that they have the professional blow dryers that got the job done. An added plus was the shampoo options, towels, brushes, and aprons all on hand! Definitely a great addition to a stellar business.

Love these guys! They always go out of their way for me. They have all my dog's fav foods, fun baked treats, and I am so excited their new dog wash is now open! Open Sundays too! My sister and brother in law just used it and it was so nice and easy! Check out their new hours (make note the tubs are closed an hour earlier than their store closing time to allow for finishing up and cleaning).

I'm giving them one star only because they carry great items. They get -4 stars because of their poor customer service concerning self washing. I showed at 4:58 and saw the sign that bathis must begin an hour before they close (at 6pm). The woman in the retail part said I could not give my small-medium size dog a bath because of the policy. I said, "What time is it now?" She replied, It's 5 o'clock. I told her I inly needed to wash my dog - no blow-drying, combing or brushing. She still said no. I went there because a friend suggested I try it when I mentioned I was on my way to my usual place on 2300 E. Since I used to shop at Ma & Pa's I decided to give their new (new at least to me) self wash a try. Well, I won't try that again! My dog and I got back in the car and I called my usual place to confirm they were open and I could wash my dog. The person said I needed to be done by 6 when they close. I drove there, washed my dog, and paid before 5:30. One last thing: When I pointed out to the woman at Ma & Pa's that she said it was 5pm, so technically I was within the time limit she told me the problem is it takes a while to clean to tubs. Not sure what that means, but I will interpret it as she didn't want to have to do any work a minute after 6pm. Well, she won't have to worry about doing any work after my dog and me. We won't be back for a wash or snacks. There are other upscale specialty dog shops in town.
