“Very clean and quiet. I would suggest them hanging a clock up maybe above the door or above each sign stating the doors will automatically lock at 11. Also where is the key to the restrooms? There are signs directing you to a restroom that is locked.”

“We drove about 30 hours from TX with 2 dogs and one of them got sick along the way. So happy we found this place and didn’t go to other places used in past. There is a sanitize feature on washers that was amazing! Everything was clean and easy to use with their card. Brenda and Lady (name I think started with C) was so sweet and helpful. Don’t bother going anywhere else, this is a gem!!!”

“I've hung on to a tie of my dad's (who died in 1971) for over 50 years even though it had a very noticeable grease stain on it. Today I took it to Village Cleaners, hoping they could get the spot out. I didn't think it was possible to remove such an old stain, but they did it. I almost cried. My husband is going to wear the tie to our son's November wedding. Thank you!Service: Special care fabric cleaning”

“I've never used a laundromat in my life (although I did go with a friend to one once, in West Toronto, which was dingy, dirty and half of the machines didn't work) but my dryer is broken and I have a bunch of laundry I need to get done so my manager at work immediately suggested Wishy Washy. She has done her laundry there several times and says it's unlike any laundromat she's ever been to (cleaner, friendlier, convenient)! I even spoke to Jim and Donna, the owners of Wishy Washy, and they saved the day by suggesting their drop-off & deliver service so I'm going to drop off all of my laundry today and they're going to do it, fold it and bring it back to me tomorrow. It costs a bit more than doing it myself but they use their own detergent etc. so I save on that plus I can keep my plans for tonight instead of having to sit and watch my clothes spin in circles or risk spending any money at the many shops they have in the plaza! It's a win-win as far as I'm concerned! I haven't even used their services yet and I'm already sold on what a great team Jim and Donna are and what a great thing they have going here at Wishy Washy!”

“Great first experience at Dirk's. I dropped off an heirloom quality down comforter that could use a refresh as well as a dress. They set expectations low upon dropoff that stains may or may not be removable (as you probably should with any type of stain removal service) and returned a really high quality clean. My down comforter cost $55 to clean and was returned spotless and white and fluffy (so nice to have the loft back in the down). I'm ecstatic as it is one of my favorite possessions. The dress clean was $20. I have no idea what others would charge but I went to Dirk's because of the reviews that claim fair and reasonable pricing for the results and I'm not disappointed.”

“One of the cleanest nicest laundromats I've been in. The lady attendant was the sweetest nicest you could possibly meet and she keeps it clean, plus I had one of the machines take a dollar from me and she was so helpful. I would advise to bring ya own quarters cause it could have been just me but I only saw change machines that only gave you dollar coins not quarters. That's was the only thing that was really wrong no quarter change machines. That being said you can use your phone to pay and run the machines it looks pretty cool just not for me. Way to take pride in your establishment.”

“The crew did a great job with our comforter! The fella who helped me, a Greek man named Theodore I believe, is a great guy. Very friendly, very thorough, and gave me a $5 credit since it took a little longer than expected.”

“Thank you Village Cleaners for your donation to the MURRAY HIGH SPARTAN CLOSET project of the Coat drive December 2021-2022 & 2023! And also, as a patron who just brought over my drapery for cleaning, I was SO IMPRESSED at how amazingly clean and pressed they were (almost better than when they were hung 5 years ago!) Your over all thoughtfulness and care make us a client for life!”

“Dennis is the guy! He’s been in the Marmalade District for the last 40 years, keeping our clothes looking spic and span the whole time!I made the silly mistake of washing a (borrowed) vintage wool sweater and needed all the help I could get ? He was able to work some fabric magic, and got it stretched out as much as possible and that was plenty for me!He saved me from a major scolding LOL. I trust Dennis to keep me and my garments in mind. ♥️”

“Red Hanger became my favorite after another cleaner ruined a suit and blamed that on me, refusing to take responsibility. Red Hanger has been reliable, delivered clean clothes and I’ve always been greeted by friendly team members. Thanks guys!”

“It was my first time to use the dry cleaners. I dropped my stuff off on Wednesday. Picked it up Saturday morning. The pricing was very reasonable. They got all the neck stains out of my white shirts. Great Job! I will be back,”

“I used this place often about 8 or 10 years ago and was back for the first time in November of 23. They revamped it added a lot of new machines and made it even better. If I lived anywhere near here, this would be my go-to place. I lived on the lamb meaning out of my pickup for a few years all over the west coast and this is by far the cleanest out of 30 or 40 I've been to”

“$5 to wash, 26 minute cycle. Looks like to dry, it's 25¢ for 5 minutes.Nice for bulkier items that can't go in an agitator machine. It said busier than usual, but I didn't have to wait to use a machine.”

“UPDATE: to Feb. 2024: still 8.50 for the large washers for quilts and the like and then 1 dollar to start the large dryers for about 28 minutes and then 25 cents for each 7 minutes after. Open roughly 7 am to 10 pm 7 days a week. Still fairly clean and quiet.OLD POST: It's a small local coin-operated laundromat. They have two of the 8 load washers ($8.50 for 1 load) for quilts and two 50-pound dryers ($1 to start for 20 minutes then $.25 for 7 minutes after that) along with an assortment of smaller washers and dryers. It's rarely busy and pretty clean. They have a coin machine, small product vending machine and a snack vending machine. Nothing fancy but the machines are fairly fast. 30 minutes to wash in the biggest machines. I've been here every few months for a few years now.”

“48th Street Laundromat is a clean place to get your clothes washed & dried. There is actually staff on premises. They were friendly & helpful when I had a need to interact with them, yet unobtrusive until then. I will be returning & would recommend the facility to anyone.”
