Fantastic store with livestock and equipment for everyone. Just about everything on display is for sale which is nice as some stores aren’t this way. Bought some coraline algae and a harlequin shrimp from them and haven’t had any issues. Lovely staff, had a great time talking with them, and they were eager to help! I do a lot for the aquaculture program at my high school and both employees working that day were genuinely interested and supportive. Really cool place, fantastic saltwater and freshwater selection, and well worth the hour long car ride it takes me to get here.

If you are trans go somewhere else and avoid the ridicule.I am openly trans and present fully fem socially. I came in here looking for some vampire shrimp and a few aquatic plants. It was actually quite busy when I came in so I window shopped for a bit hoping it would die down. When it did and some of the staff was finally free I approached an employee at the front to ask about the possibility of ordering the shrimp since I didn't see any on display. This guy took one look at me and let out an audible gag accompannied by a recoiling look of what I can only assume was disgust and then absolutely beelined it for the backroom. The whole interaction just sort of left me in shock so I just dropped the supplies I had accumulated meandering around the store and left. I don't think I will be giving this place a second chance.

I have had aquariums off and on for most of my life. It is a fun hobby. I have gone to Fish for you probably 30 or more years. That seems crazy, but I think I am right. They seem more knowledgeable than most anywhere you go. Last night when we went in, one young man helped me with many different questions. The couple of things he wasn't totally sure about, he went to ask and was back in a flash. He would have been right if he had told us what he thought. He was so awesome to say I believe it is-------, but I am going to ask to make sure. I really appreciate that he handled it that way. Plus, if you buy their water, it is a lot cheaper than anywhere I know of. I highly recommend Fish For You!

I was extremely impressed with the plant and supplies selection. I purchased 5 beautiful aquatic plants, but I was sad to get home to see that the Anacharis that I bought was broken up into multiple little pieces. It was difficult to plant due to the broken pieces.

Initial impression: the workers are super friendly and don't make you feel like your inconveniencing them when you ask questions. Selection of fresh and salt water is good. They sell equipment and parts for the hobby which some store don't. After I cycle my tank I'll be back to purchase from this store.

We got our baby lionhead, Charlie here a few weeks ago. He is in great health and we couldn't be happier. They have the best selection of fancy goldfish I've seen anywhere in the state as well as a great selection of goldfish specific food. The woman we spoke with was very helpful but not pushy or preachy, which was refreshing. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I live clear down town closer to bountiful. I have been to this store a few to me and they carry almost everything of the brand that I like and use. I ran over there today needing medication. drove through the rain hoping to get there beforehand re they close. well I made it at 6:45 but they were closed anyway. There sign says they close a 7. very frustrating to get there after driving all that way to have them closed when they should be open. the lights were still off n and there was still a car there but they wouldn't open the door. I won't waste my time, or gas again here since they don't want my business

Purchased a tank after confirming pricing. After 3 days they texted me saying pricing went up $200 and I would need to pay the difference. After several calls and waiting for responses, I went in later that day only to be told that pricing had gone up another almost $200 (over $400 what I originally paid for a 120g tank) . Most of the staff was very unhelpful and nobody knows what the real price of most of the items are.0/5 stars and a big waste of time. Ended up purchasing tank from the Waterfront and it was a flawless experience.

I have been here a few times, the staff here is helpful, knowledgeable, and honest to the point of even letting me know of other fish stores where I could get what I was looking for. Half the store is live fish and plants and the other half is tanks and supplies. They carry both freshwater and saltwater fish, critters, and plants.

I've been going here for at least a dozen years. Great selection and staff that can assist you in anything aquatic. I've kept saltwater coral /reef and freshwater fish and plants. They do a proper quartine on all new fish and coral. Years ago, they helped me seed my tank when I moved here. Kickstart my current fishtank that's 12 years old. I like this place for anything alive as they take great care of their live goods. They don't churn fish / plants. Also, their systems are all self contained so they don't spread diseases from tank to tank like the big box stores that is just one big system, here they are self-contained fish/plants in each tank.
