“Im not sure why every other review is complaining about price. My cats neuter surgery ended up costing 1/2 as much as our local animal hospital (Copper View) was wanting to charge. All the staff was great! Laura greeted us when we came in, and also help answer any concerns we had that the doctor didn’t go over. She even called the day after to check on how he was recovering. Will definitely come again. They cared for my baby as much as I do.”
“I went in for my Boston terrier suffering from allergies. Home remedies did not work. The office staff was friendly. The availability was great for how urgent I wanted to help my dog. Thank you Crystal, Amelia, Britney, Dr. Tyler and the whole staff. Copper is recovering.”

“We needed to take our dog in for an urgent visit. Our regular vet was booked but suggested we call Holladay Veterinary Hospital. They were able to get us in within a couple of hours. The staff and doctors were so kind and thorough and presented us with several options without making us feel pressured. I would recommend this place to anyone and even had the thought that we should start taking our dog there for his care.”
“This was my first visit to Mtn Point and it was a long story to tell Kelly. She was VERY patient, took a lot of time to hear and ask questions, and didn’t rush us. “I cannot thank Dr. Schmidt enough for the care he has shown my dog Lola. She was diagnosed with IVDD a few days ago and surgery is not in our budget so he is helping us work through the best way to care for our dog and keep her as comfortable as possible. He has made himself available in between other patients to get back to me with answers to my questions as soon as he can. We normally see vets at Riverton Animal Hospital but because of the care we were shown at the urgent care location we will absolutely be switching. This has been a very difficult couple of days and your staff has been both but helpful and caring. I was recommended to buy prescription cat food, which needs to be approved by the vet before a retailer will sell it. I was super impressed with the speed of which they approved my request. “I’ve been taking my cats here since 2020 and now have all my family and some coworkers going here too. I primarily see Dr. Albergo and Dr. Ingraham and love them both! They’ve been there with us through a lot. When it was time to say goodbye to our eldest in 2021, in dealing with my neurotic youngest, and in all the ups and downs of my diabetic middle child the last 4 years. They understand his case and work collaboratively within their own practice to treat him, as well as with specialists at MedVet, Blue Pearl, and AVC to best manage his very complicated case. They demonstrate care for me and do their best to help me manage the costs of his care. They communicate well with me and the specialists across the valley who also support his case. I love Riverton Veterinary and am deeply grateful for them and the care they give my whole family, furry and non-furry!”
“I don’t think I’ve ever met a veterinarian staff as kind, compassionate, and thorough. They have always given outstanding care to all of the dogs that I have had. We recently had to put down one of our dogs who had been with us for almost 12 years. Hannah and Dr. Cannon, along with the other staff, made sure that we had the time we needed to grieve and say goodbye. I cannot express enough appreciation for the compassion they showed. I would highly recommend Stone Ridge Veterinary Clinic to anyone. Five stars just doesn’t seem to be enough.”

“I have a fractious arthritic cat (a loveable challenge even on gaba, if you will), and in the past some staff at other vet clinics have become frustrated with her and treated her less gently. It can be hard to find a cat-friendly vet.
ALL the vets and techs at University Vet treat my cat INCREDIBLY kindly, which is the basis for effective care. She comes in at a minimum once a month for a Solensia shot (would recommend), and each vet tech that handles her has been very understanding of her fear and the challenge she offers. She has seen several vets here and I've been very impressed with their handling of her.
They do not have seperate a waiting area/entrance for cats, but do have a large lobby and call pets back quickly so I haven't found that to be a huge problem.
I've found this vet office to be flexible and accomodating for urgent and routine care. They do xrays during dental cleanings, which is particularly important for older cats. They're knowledgeable about cats and the care/treatments they've offered have visibly improved my cat's QOL. I've recommended this vet to friends with cats and heard back positive things.”
“It seems impossible to write a post like this, but we recently brought our sweet, angel girl here to help her cross the rainbow bridge. Despite it being the worst day of our lives their kindness made it a little easier. Every person that we interacted with was thoughtful and compassionate and so gentle with us and our baby girl. Dr Zachary and her staff are phenomenal. We will absolutely be going there for care for any pets in the future.”

“We have taken our dogs here several times over the past few years and have always had a positive experience.
The staff seem to be experienced, welcoming and patient. The prices for the services we’ve needed have never felt unreasonable. The office has always appeared clean, with any messes (that will always come along with animals) being cleaned up quickly and efficiently. And most importantly they have always handled our dogs carefully, trying to ensure their comfort!
While I can’t really compare the prices to elsewhere, I can say that this office provides good experiences and quality services.”
