“Im not sure why every other review is complaining about price. My cats neuter surgery ended up costing 1/2 as much as our local animal hospital (Copper View) was wanting to charge. All the staff was great! Laura greeted us when we came in, and also help answer any concerns we had that the doctor didn’t go over. She even called the day after to check on how he was recovering. Will definitely come again. They cared for my baby as much as I do.”
“I was visiting from out of town, my daughter recommended them and I called. The fit my dog in that very same day, the staff were very loving and kind, and most of all - my dog was fine. The vet explained what was going on, gave me instructions, and we were on our way. If I ever need a vet again in Salt Lake City, this is where I am going!”

Hillside staff actually properly diagnosed my kitten and gave her the proper treatment. They also took the time to answer all of my questions and validated my concerns about the other vet being wrong.
She had a fairly simple issue that the other vet hadn’t been able to catch. Thanks to the hillside staff at their urgent care, my kitten is feeling better than she has in months!”
“This morning was one of the hardest days of my life — we had to say goodbye to our sweet cat, Crackers. From the very first phone call to Copper View Veterinary in Riverton, we were met with nothing but kindness, compassion, and urgency.
The staff immediately understood the situation and got us in right away. Every single person we interacted with was gentle, patient, and genuinely caring. They treated Crackers with dignity and treated us with such empathy during an incredibly painful moment. They never made us feel rushed and made sure we had the time and space we needed to say goodbye.
In a moment that felt overwhelming and heartbreaking, their warmth made all the difference. I will forever be grateful that they were there for us in his final moments.

“3 months ago, we called Brickyard Animal hospital in crisis. Our dog had been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and needed her spleen removed immediately. Dr. Allen accommodated our schedule and saved her life. When she got home, I noticed that the staff had trimmed her nails. I don’t know why but that act of kindness brought my wife and I to tears. We didn’t ask for it. They didn’t charge us. And the gesture communicated so much.
The doctor let us know that we hadn’t saved her, only extended her life by 3 months. Maybe up to 6 if we were lucky. Today we let her go, 3 months almost to the day. And as much as I hate this, I have so much gratitude for these people who gave us 3 more months to grieve and to be with our pup. Thank you thank you so much. For your skill and your kindness and your genuine love. It showed through every step of the process.”

“My dog had a broken tooth. They got us in a couple days after I called. We had an exam, and dental appointment for the same day. The vet was great, had wonderful bedside manner and was really friendly. He referred to me as “mom” during our visit. I thought that was sweet. He asked lots of good questions about his health and tooth. He mentioned it may be a cavity but would let me know during the procedure. He kept me in the loop about care, and pricing. Originally it was $825. After he pulled the tooth and did the dental they said it would actually be cheaper. I only paid $700 for our entire visit. That included a full dental cleaning, anesthesia, fluids, blood work, pulling the tooth, aftercare medication, and they clipped his nails. They also gave us a bag of dental kibble to help with plaque in the future. GREAT price! Thank you!”

“Dr Brandy was amazing. My cat had a portosystemic shunt and we had to travel from Wyoming to get the surgery to repair it done. Brandy did wonderful at coordinating with my vet back home surgery preparation and helped explain everything to me in a way that prepared me and calmed me.
