We couldn't take our dog here because he hasn't been neutered yet, but it was very clean and smelled good. The dogs all looked happy, and the staff we met were kind and very helpful trying to help us find other alternatives.

i was in there the other week about my dog having itching in her ear and was bleeding from her leg. i went to ask about it and Kris was who i spoke with and she said i was over reacting and she got hurt at MY HOUSE!!! my dog was there for 2 weeks. DONT COME HERE!!!

Update: while the Dog Lodge did do all of the things mentioned below, when I got home with our dogs, one of them had an infection in his paw that needed medical attention. A week later I brought them to be groomed and the groomers found that they had canine lice which is typical from boarding or dog parks. We hadn’t been to the dog park in several months so most likely it came from the Dog Lodge. When I called to let them know so they could be on guard and check their dogs, they were offended and assured me it didn’t come from their though they said they don’t check for lice. I recommend finding another boarding organization.Original post: We had to go out of town for about 5 days and couldn’t bring our 2 dogs. The dog lodge was such a great experience for both us humans and the pups. I really liked that they required a higher standard of vaccinations, I think it was bordatella, to help mitigate illnesses. One of our dogs passed the initial assessment but during the stay she became irritable and snippy around the other dogs. They made arrangements to keep her supervised to keep all the dogs safe. They could have locked her up in a kennel but did NOT do that. They also made recommendations for her for the future in a positive way. They could have said that she wasn’t welcome back but instead focused on what her needs were.

I was so sad I had to board my puppy for almost a week but I am SO GLAD that I found this place!! I sent an email asking for an update the morning after dropping him off and was delightfully surprised that I got a response almost immediately from McKale. McKale went above and beyond to ease my worries by sending me videos of my boy, happily playing. Seeing him happy made me feel so much better! I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing my dog was having his own puppy vacation. He came home clean, with his nails trimmed (Awesome bonus!) exhausted from all the fun. I can't say enough how grateful I am for the Dog Lodge and McKale!

We went on vacation out of state for a wedding and have not left our dogs at an overnight facility in several years. We were super nervous! The Dog Lodge was very accommodating and kind and did everything to put our minds at ease without making us feel embarrassed about it.They answered all of our phone calls and texts and sent photos! The girls came home with a sweet report card as well as a bath. We liked that you can bring their beds from home. The price is exceptional for the service provided. Our dogs had a great time and we will happily use them again!!

This is my go-to place for dog sitting when I am out of town and can't take my furry friends. They always remember my dogs name and are very polite. Once when my puppy was bitten by another dog, they immediately took her to a vet and tried to call and email me. I was out of the country with no service and they took care of everything. The other dog's owner was billed for the vet services and banned from coming back to the Dog Lodge. They really do everything they can to make sure the dogs are safe and take care of them.

It's a great value and my dog always comes home happy! I love that they wash him before he comes home. At other places they get all gross. Here my dog comes home all clean!

We always bring our doggo here, and he always leaves very happy and TIRED which is very difficult to do. After a few days, they provide a wonderful bath and nail trim, and take care of all the dog needs. Our FAVORITE benefit of bringing our dog here is that he gets to play with all the other dogs (after a temperament check of the dogs) so they can have a great vacation too! They have separate sleeping areas, but overall the dogs are having the best time. I am extremely comfortable leaving my dog in their very capable hands.

You can tell the staff at The Dog Lodge really care about the pups and give them the best care possible. They can accommodate lots of different needs your dog may have.

Truly can’t say greater things about McCall and her team. My dogs had an absolute blast, and this is the first time they’ve come back from a dog care center not smelling like urine and sweat. My pups were so happy and took the best nap of their lives after pickup ? It was so nice to get a report card too!
