I just moved across the country from east coast and get recommended from a group members on the social media to take my car here for the service. Got the phone number from him and I sent the message to Dustin and take me in right away. Drove half hour to get to the shop and the process only take me less than an hour. After my car get done we talked for a little bit since I’m new to the area and finding out that we from the same area(east coast) state automotive will definitely be the only shop that I ever take my car to no matter how big or small the job is.

State Auto has been taking care of my 2000 Land cruiser for about 8 years. They are always very knowledgeable and communicate expectations more accurately than most mechanics. She is an old but extremely well made vehicle. They always have the ability to get her in and back out quickly. I don’t think I could keep my old girl if it wasn’t for this amazing team.

If I could give 10 starts I would! Misen absolutely saved my ass and fixed my tire. I was in and out in 10 minutes! Definitely will be recommending them to everyone that needs work done on their cars!

referred me to a great towing company that charged me a very reasonable price and diagnosed my car for a very good price and did not try to upsell anything and was very transparent with everything going on, miriam was very helpful as well with helping me with what i needed definitely going to return for any work i need

I recently took my van to State Automotive after experiencing some concerning engine troubles. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with their professionalism and friendly service. They took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly diagnosed the problem.
What really stood out was their honesty and transparency. They explained the issue in terms I could understand and provided a clear estimate for the repairs. There was no pressure or upselling, just a genuine desire to get my van back on the road safely.

Excellent experience. They were able to take me in early to scan the car and identify any major red flags before my appointment the following day. They are the best auto-shop in Utah and it’s not even close. They have always given me honest and accurate quotes on any and all repairs. They really care about their customers and will take the best care of you and your vehicle. Upon entering the shop you can simply feel that it is ran by honest, good people. I had looked for a mechanic I could go to and trust fully for 27 years. So grateful I found State Automotive. Dustin and Becky are the people I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the best. They are professional and simply phenomenal people. As is everyone there.

I always take my 4Runner to these guys. I feel that the prices are fair and they do good honest work. Great at communicating. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good and honest mechanic.

I had a very smooth and transparent experience with state auto. I had an idea of what my issue was but did not have the tools required to diagnose the problem myself. I took my 1998 ranger to these guys and they were able to figure out my problem within 30 minutes, the diagnostic fee went towards the repairs and it was all finished within a day. I highly recommend these guys if you like transparent communication on your auto issues and what they can do to help you maintain your cars life and value.
