We just left the Smiths grocery store on fort Union boulevard and 900 East. While there we discovered we were shopping for some meat for french dip sandwiches we found boxes of Kroger Brand shredded steak for that type of sandwich they had all expired February 10th 2025 we reported this to the butcher they said they would remove them from stock we looked this up online it says that if grocery stores stock meet that old they should be reported to the Utah consumers affair office which we will probably do next. Thank heavens we always check dates,people could get sick eating meat that old.

The store wasn’t that busy. Everything was stocked. Workers weren’t in the way of the isles and overall it was a great experience and that’s saying something for someone with severe anxiety.
