I guess Harmon's has become a high-end grocery store now the selection was terrible and the prices were insane. What happened to you guys ?

I hope this is the harmons in midvale and if it is they are the most disgusting people I have ever like heard about like they're very ignorant to their employees with disabilities and they don't even have that severe of disabilities it was like a higher functioning person with disabilities a disabled person that is very much capable of working the way they treated that particular person was just absolutely uncalled for I will never step foot in this Harmon's ever because of that and then people wonder why this world is going downhill so fast

I would stop buying bread here. One time something tasted “off”. I threw the loaf away. Second time, I wondered what the heck was going on. Third time the loaf tasted like a dead rat. IDK what they’re doing, but I think they’re not cleaning their appliances out correctly.

I hope cashier John L and the less than impressive manager enjoy the $15.99 they took from me by weighing the bulk coffee a pound more than it actually was.
I deleted a full five star, glowing review to update this. But if the store is going to rip me off and not care when it’s brought to their attention then I think of it less as the mistake I thought it was and instead an intentional act

Kaitlyn, you shouldn’t be a manager. I brought my service dogs (of which I don’t need to disclose my disability to you anyway so I’ll be filing a report for you break the law) the two dogs are trained to jump on me to get my attention so I sit down due to my epilepsy. Shame on you during this Christmas season. I’ll be contacting corporate.

I had a coffee creamer that didn’t process when checking out and they were unsure of the price. Instead of checking they put in a random number which afterwards ended up being an extra 30 cents but at that point I had already paid. It’s only 30 cents but I thought it was weird that instead of double checking their inventory they just guessed. It was just kind of weird.

I'm a former employee here. It was okay. They used to be very popular. Not so much now. I don't waste my time shopping here. Customer service isn't good like it used to be.

Store is very poorly managed. Aside from the cashiers the employees are rude and create a very uncomfortable shopping experience. For Harman’s to be the more expensive grocery chain, you would think they would value customer experience more than they do. The stores presentation is good but they lose major points having a staff that seems like they truly dislike their jobs.

They won't allow you to sign up for foodie club in the store. But, they have a sign saying they will. So I stood in line just for Ivan to roll his eyes at me and say he can't sign me up, or honor the foodie club discount on gasoline. I have had a foodie card and used it for a decade, I figured they would at least give me the gas. Nope, just the eye roll and attitude. I used to love harmons and even though it was expensive I would only buy my meat and produce from them. Not now, never going to this store again. I'll make the drive and brave parking at city creek. At least Tyler can operate a store.

Eddie in the hot deli section is the only reason I'm giving two stars. He was awesome and went above and beyond to ensure that I could get the meal deal before 2 PM rolled around.
The picture below is the $6 hot dog meal deal I was given. The hot dog was small and there were no condiments or toppings available. The hot dog itself was pretty bottom of the shelf low quality dog. The bun was hard and stale.
I had an option of one side and I chose the Mac and cheese. It was incredibly bland and was pretty similar to Kraft instant Mac and cheese.
All of this was $6. I wasn't given a drink, bag of chips, cookie, anything that would have made this better. This is all super disappointing, especially considering the contrast between their $6 brats during June where you get all of those options with good brats. All in all, the meal deal just feels cheap and like Harmons is just being greedy.
A huge issue I saw while I was here was a lack of communication between staff. No one knew that the chef had left and threw a batch of hot dogs in to heat up. This left all of the staff scrambling when I came in towards the end of the deal. Management should ensure that communication happens, especially when people are leaving for the day. This whole experience makes me question management here and what their priorities are because it doesn't seem to be ensuring customers have good experiences nor reducing the stress their staff has.

Update: after sending a complaint through the website, the manager reached out and was very concerned about my experience. She assured me they would take the opportunity to improve their training. Her response was prompt and addressed my concerns.
Original post:
Watch for the expiration dates on your products. Just bought an item on close out on 6-19-24. I did not check the expiration date, when I got home after my grandson had eaten one the items, I happened to look at the expiration date: 8-8-23. It had been expired for almost a year. When we went to return item, they promptly gave me my money back. There was no apology, nothing that indicated concern on the part of the employee. We will be shopping at a different store from now on.
