This is a budget hotel with a kitchen but they could do a lot better. Paint in the bath was peeling, no sofa (it is extended stay), 5 clothes hangers, tub faucet hot and cold are reversed, kitchen faucet loose, no smoke detector, bathroom sink faucet is very noisy, they gave us kitchen stuff including a coffee pot but no filters and the store does not carry that size, no conditioner, no safe, no chairs to eat at a kitchen table, limited kitchen supplies and the breakfast bar is very sad and limited. The only thing good is that the price is cheap and it was clean. I probably will not use this place again.

$135 a night for this little "suite" with a kitchenette. Now I get it's an extended stay, but still 3 nights is not worth it. I never saw a housekeeper. Likely they clean every 3 days? The hotel only allows us to use the main entrance, all other doors are locked which in my opinion says alot for the area. If you're disabled and have issues walking, this place may not be for you. They provide shampoo, but no conditioner. Weird. They do have free coffee and oatmeal packets and muffins. The tv was funky, the guide would say something was on but when we looked it was a whole different show.It is close to everything, I'll give them that. And the room was clean.Bathroom was ok but shower head is so high that at 5' tall I had zip for water pressure. All around will not stay here when we come back in the fall.

They don't s deserve stars. Sleeping in your car next to the dump is better than this disgusting place. Save your money or pay the extra 10 dollars for another hotel. This place doesn't deserve my time to tell how nasty it is. Be luck you get clean sheets here

Never have I been prompted to do a review on the same place twice, but today I am first and foremost because not only has the ESA midvale fort union impressed the hell out of me, their hard work on getting this place up and going great is not unrecognized. I'm temporarily staying here waiting for my condo to move to. The level of friendly customer service ( they have been way under staffed and working long hours to keep customers happy) Gail the general manager is very professional ( nothing gets by her) but I'll say she is a genuine person who would help you if you needed she is running a tight ship. Tifney Campbell is the other manager who is such a sweetheart and makes you feel welcome and can run this place with her eyes blinded and hands tied ... * and the review about the man that was a fugitive that the federal marshals had to come get and basically tear gas and demolish 2 rooms ... let me say this to the person who gave the bad review for that : when the police come the feds u don't say shit, if they jump u say how high, this in no way shape or form had anything to do with the hotel staff , Tifney Gail and Paul the maitence guy did there very best and handled it like grace under pressure. Also I'd like to add the other assistant manager Keisha is very nice always knows how to fix any problem that may arise checking in or out ... This is by far my favorite extended stay in Utah I'll never stay at any one but this one the housekeeping is fantastic always clean bedding and towels. Do yourself a favor and skip the other extended stays you will just be disappointed. Fort union midvale location if I could give 10 stars I would. (* and they're always sweet to my service pet and give her treats ) KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !!!! A customer forever Jade

I have to say when I booked us two months in advance before my trip that I was coming up to now I was really quite happy that I was able to book it for the price only to realize when I get here and I cannot get another room key for a friend only later on did I find out that that my friend has to check in as a guest on their computer and show me their ID then you can get a room key that never happened I thought that was a waste of time and the breakfast in the morning was coffee hot chocolate and a few muffins and packages and granola bars were a waste of money instead of me getting free breakfast I went out and bought my breakfast and ate an outside on the good side I did like the kitchen area I was able to Buy food and keep it in here the other thing I did not like is this parking lot if you're gonna pay $542 for a week include free parking in your parking lot only when I get in and the lady was kind enough to ask me if I had a car and I said yes and she goes oh let me give you a pass otherwise it will get towed what's the point of coming to this hotel spending money to stay here and you're parking your car in the parking lot and it gets towed what is the point of that and the second thing is these mattresses and these pillows need to be thrown out and bought new stuff the pillows are nasty uncomfy the mattresses are OK but they need to be replaced the carpet needs to be replaced even worse I have not even used the sink in the bathroom because on the bottom of the drain is full of hair and it has been there for months and it is nasty The big disappointment was I found out this place does not have a pool or a workout gym even worse I was kind of happy that these guys had laundry machines to use but you can't use your quarters it's a use a stupid credit card what a waste of time that is do use your credit card for a dollar wash on a stupid charge that would be an on the other note one entrance one exit out of the same door you cannot go out of the other doors because the alarm will go off I think I was very stupid next time I come up to Salt Lake for a week or two I will probably stay at the Crystal Inn pay Little Bit more money but I will probably be treated better there And to make things even worse in the bathroom sink the two pictures I have on here there is hair in this drain and I do not know how long it's been there but the maid or whoever clean the bathrooms have better do a better job because this is nasty

Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but definitely not the best or close to it. My most important factors in a hotel are a clean and decently comfy bed and clean room/bathroom...and this hotel was fine for that. There was a small mini kitchen in the room but there was no kitchen utensils, cooking ware, or plates/cups. You have to check everything out from the front desk. I was also very shocked there was not a coffee maker in the room although there is coffee in the lobby during the morning. The sink in our room gurgled pretty often, it was very odd. The shower was meh. View of the mountains from the window was nice. Our door key card didn't work that great. Sometimes you'd have to slide it several times to get it to read. And a few times it didn't work at all (perhaps from being close to a cell phone or magnet) but when we went to the front to get a new card, they didn't ask to see an ID or anything and just asked for our room number and gave us a new card, felt like the security measures were very bad. It didn't make me feel very safe. Location of the hotel seemed pretty good, close to a lot of restaurants and stores and not too far from the mountains.

My work paid for me to stay at this hotel for one week paying the premium rate. I had a service dog in which I had registration details and everything when I checked in the lady at the front desk asked me about the dog. she specifically went back and told her manager there was a service dog and booked my room. Two days later I get a call to the room and the general manager was incredibly rude told me that I never told them I had a service dog asked me multiple questions About what kind of service dog he was , what he did ,multiple other questions which is completely illegal to do. I am notifying the ADA as soon as possible . Also said that I had too many people come in which only one person who was a coworker cameTo my hotel room. We were very quiet the whole time my dog is very well behaved of course. She told me that I needed to pack my stuff in less than an hour and get out. Never met a more unprofessional ignorant staff. especially the general manager was incredibly rude from the beginning. Wouldnt even provide me with a detailed print out. I would never recommend this place I still have not got a refund for the whole week. So unprofessional. Do they know what the word hospitality means? They are suppose to accommodate the guests! Guests are directly paying all the bills without satisfied guezts there is no business. Unbelievable.

The worst stay ever due to basic things not provided. Basically if you need anything more than a clean bed, DO NOT STAY HERE. Do you need internet? let me be clear... there is no internet and they actually block your hotspot with extra thick walls and no hotspots. I have great internet service off of my phone and couldn't get even that in my room. THE MOST RUDE PART WAS THAT THEY CONTINUED TO SAY THE WIFI WOULD BE FIXED WITHIN HOURS OR A DAY. It never was. I am serious. After two weeks of zoom calls that jeopardized my very work and day to day job, I ended up taking a loss on my stay there and staying at a Marriot. I stayed at multiple ESA locations and they all could not provide wifi beyond basic email, despite advertising high speed internet. If anyone is having problems, please reach out and I can help identify if they are screwing you over because I spent hours on the phone with their tech support and have actually become really smart about internet speeds and if they are providing what they say. Please send me a message if you think ESA is screwing you over. They owe me about $2k and won't return my calls. The worst hotel chain in history. If you work for ESA I'd love to update this review, but i've never heard back.

Lots of tweakers staying here and smoking cigarettes throughout the night, my car got broken into and the hotel didn't seem to care one bit, the lady at the front maybe said 3 words to me about it. Super unsafe place to stay, while I was on the phone with my insurance I was pacing outside and saw cigarette butts everywhere and a few tiny "coke bags" this is the worst hotel, drive a little further and stay somewhere else!
