I had a terrible experience with Brent when his flutes broke on me multiple times. He swore at me and blamed me for them breaking when I'm sure it was from his quality not being the greatest. He was very, very rude to me not just as a customer, but as a person.Around Christmas time I was there in his shop waiting for many hours for him to finish a flute due to an error on his end and I saw a sign hanging up incentiving his group of 5+ young men to build his flutes faster. My favorite instrument maker period. Hugely because they are so much more than flute makers. They invite me to dream and then turn my dream into a reality. Offering an infinity of possibilities in designs, the kid inside me is alive again every time I order a Woodsounds flute. These are the Rolls Royce of flutes... The Pablo Picasso's. The Stradivarius's. True geniuses and, better yet, if there is anything wrong with the flute or if you have an accident with it, Brent Haines himself (founder and owner of Woodsounds) will take care of you until you are fully satisfied. I can't say enough good things about Woodsounds. They truly are, "Too Good to be True". I absolutely love them. Thank you Woodsounds!

I love my Woodsounds Flutes. I have 7 of them. Everything from Custom made (with my own wood) to flutes bought directly from his website or in person at flute festivals. Every Woodsounds flute you can count on the following:1. You are buying QUALITY2. It will play like a dream3. It will be perfectly in tune4. It will be absolutely gorgeous!!What more can you ask for? I have seen dozens of these flutes and have heard many of them played. They are, without exception, perfectly crafted pieces of art. The tone and tuning of each is tested at the time of creation to ensure that each meets strict criteria before being shipped to its owner. I have never seen a better crafted instrument.

Some of the best native American style flutes available, if you want to sleep that will play true and play well these are the ones. If you're just getting into playing flutes you need to buy one of the wood sounds students learn to play on it and me seem expensive but they're worth every penny and make learning to play so much easier. Island several other foods before buying a wood sounds flute and it's the one that I really learned to play on.

I am the proud owner of a half dozen Woodsounds flutes. Each one is crafted to perfection. In my opinion, Brent's flutes are not only the most pleasing to the eyes, but ears as well. I am an independent recording artist and have used his flutes on the last 2 CD releases. Worth the time and monies for sure. Woodsounds flutes are the most breathtaking sounding and in looks native American style flutes in the world hands down.

I've got 3 flutes from Brent now, and 2 more on the way. The voicing is incredible. The first flute I bought quickly became my favorite of the 5 I owned at the time. The craftsmanship is meticulous. They are functional art. Be aware that these are made to order so you may have a waiting period of 2 months to get it. Well worth it.
