I've used Sunpro quite a bit over the past few years, but typically deal with smaller projects. I've heard their prices are competitive in large quantities, but walking in of the street they're not. For example, Burton lumber was out of 12' Doug fir 6X6's today and I paid nearly $30 more each for the same product at Sunpro. That said, they had what I needed in stock when it's didn't.Their customer service is friendly inside the store and a guy came right over to help me load when I pulled into the yard.I come here for convenience or, like today, if Burton doesn't have what I need. I would certainly ask them to bid on larger jobs. I've wondered if I'm simply not their demographic with my smaller jobs and purchases. I'd give them a higher rating, but have felt a bit price gouged by them too many times, across multiple locations.

Christina is awesome. She has gone out of her way to help me find and locate the correct materials I need multiple times. Sunpro is the best place in the valley for high quality building materials.

Can’t recommend SunPro after a bad experience ordering a beam. The original one I ordered was not built as ordered. When I went to pick it up I noticed it was too short. The office person said they would order it and take care of the difference because of the “vendor error”. After leaving I called back and asked how much for the next size up. I was quoted $60 so I ordered it. When I went back to pick it up I was surprised to find out that the price was $220 more. I said no thank you, let’s order the original one correctly. Now I’m here to pick up the beam for the third time and suddenly instead of taking care of the vendor error, they charge me another $50.

I work for a company that sends me into places to rate/evaluate the level of customer service provided. This place is TERRIBLE. Like when you leave there is no more warmth left in your soul level of terrible. I was shocked at how bad it is and I do this for a job. I left feeling mad at myself for spending money here. My questions were met with eyes rolls and huffs of disgust (sadly, we aren't all building experts). If you want to leave feeling like a HUGE inconvenience--shop here!

Purchased window grates, cheapest I found in the valley. I was very surprised at the quality and look of them. The workers were extremely helpful and helped me load them all.

Terrible customer service. I had bought trim and the employees loaded it and I had realized I needed more so when I went back they loaded it again and when I got home it was the wrong stuff. I called to see what they could do and they had wanted me to pay the difference because of their mess up. But after I refused to pay the difference because of their mess up they told me we are even and i could keep it. I had already installed the previous order. I returned some buliding materials later on that I didn't need and I didn't refund my return for over 2 months with multiple phone calls and not very helpful employees. Such a bad experience I will take my business elsewhere! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to get screwed and awful customer service.

***UPDATE*** We received a call from the Area Manager. He apologized for the mix ups and refunded us the difference we had to pay. We appreciate his sincerity. He let us know that customer service is a high priority for their company. I want to thank him for his efforts in making it right with us.Horrible. You guys do not understand customer service! I will never buy from you again. Our contractor ordered decking material from you and when it was delivered it was the wrong stuff. So we had you come pick it up and, by this time the material we originally ordered was out. This made it so we had to scramble to find something different. We found another brand (at a much higher price) and they messed this order up also. They sent someone else’s order, along with ours, to our place and you had to come pick it up as well. They also shorted us material and ordered a few pieces of the wrong color. To top all of this off, you will not stand by your mistakes and make it right with us, the customer, or our contractor. Because of SunPro’s errors it has cost us additional hours and money!!! You need to make it right!!!!

Update: I received a phone call from the area manager, and he agreed to pay the bill for the broken windshield. He explained the miscommunication and was happy to take care of the situation (as he stated it should have been done in the first place). I appreciate his time and concern and very pleased with his response.
