I would give them 0 starts if it were an option. I reached out to do a HELOC with them and all seemed to be great. They sent out James West with Wild West Appraisal, and it was all downhill from there. James stopped in to do his "service" for MAYBE 5 minuets took a handful of pictures and then 9 days later sent us his appraisal. Right off the bat I knew it was incorrect because he had the house listed at 3 beds 2 bath when really its 5 beds 2.5 baths. when I pointed out these clear flaws to the credit union they stood by their clown of an appraiser and even after admitting the errors on the appraisal still charged me for the "service." I would not recommend this credit union to. anyone looking to work with reasonable people. I will also make sure that Wild West Appraising doesnt step foot in my house ever again.

Customer service was amazing! I'm giving it 1 star, though, because of management. I tried to get a HELOC, and qualification was easy enough. However, once Adam Burris with Burris Appraisals LLC turned in his appraisal, things went south quickly. Adam was the least professional appraisal I have ever come across (and I've met several over the years). My wife was home when he went through the house. It was made clear to her that she was NOT welcome to accompany him as he went through the house. She told me that it felt more like she was rudely interrupting him in his house. She doesn't even recall him giving her his name. There was no pleasantries at the beginning. People skills were pretty much non-existent! On top of that, I feel that Mr. Burris is in an industry that he knows nothing about. I'm guessing he used to be a used car salesman, since he thinks homes that are 20 years old should be discounted over 30% over new homes. Even with a market analysis from a proven realtor with over 30 years of experience proving that his numbers were not even close to being in the same universe, he wouldn't budge. When management chose to back Adam Burris, and not a proven realtor with real world numbers, that's when I chose to no longer pursue the HELOC and give Goldenwest Credit Union a 1 star rating. Fortunately, I've gone to another bank and have notified them that Adam Burris is NOT allowed to do any appraisals for any of my properties. He really should go back to selling used cars, and management of Goldenwest Credit Union should start considering other factors, instead of relying solely upon the word of someone who clearly knows nothing about real estate.

I wanted to go through the drive through, it said there were 2 lanes open, but no one came to help after several minutesI pulled around and walked inside, Cameron was super helpful and dressed professionally, made me want to shake the man’s hand afterwards but I decided that might be weird and uncommon ?
