I can not believe y'all closed at 12:00 today , on a Friday payday. Didn't get a check until 11:55 . So now we and probably 1000s of other families are screwed for money until Tuesday . Totally unacceptable. ?

DO NOT get a business debit card from here. I'm on my fifth card this year because of Fraud. CVB needs to spend some money on security. It's obviously someone on the inside, people!

Cache Valley Bank is the best bank for personal and business banking in all of Utah!

Recently opened a business account here because I wanted to support a local bank (now that Lewiston State Bank is Alta). I've been denied multiple times trying to make purchases because of a $1k daily spending limit. Not sure if this bank realizes it or not, but $1k a day is not much, especially for a business. I've tried increasing it but that requires me to fill out a form and get approval from their officers. They were supposed to send me said form a few days ago but I've yet to receive it. Not a great experience so far with CVB

My experiences with this bank are subpar. We were trying to get a loan. They did not follow through they ignored my messages. After 6 months of their incompetence I went to Zions. From start to finish Zions finished everything in about 2 months. They answered my messages every time. I would suggest to never waste your time and energy with cache valley bank unless you want to overpay and get treated extremely poor.

I was in a financially abusive situation with my ex spouse who worked at Cache Valley Bank. Because of this, he had access to accounts his name was not on. Even after he quit, he continued to have access. To be clear, this is illegal and highly unethical. When I reported it to the bank, nothing was done. We also had our home loan through the Cache Valley Bank. Because it was "more work" to put my name on the loan, I was left off. I was told that it wasn't a big deal, and there were no negative repercussions for this. I wasn't happy with this arrangement, and should have stood up for myself, but it wasn't worth the fight with my then husband. Fast forward to our separation, and I had no access to the account. I didn't know if it was being paid, if it was being deferred, or even if we were in bankruptcy, as the address the bills were being sent to was changed (to be clear, I had very good reason for concern in this area). I complained and was told that the practice of not putting women on loans was totally normal for this bank, and it wasn't a problem. Nor was this a sexist practice. Third, I shut down my joint bank account and informed my soon-to-be ex that the account had been closed. My ex called the bank and told them to leave the account open. He was told by a friend at a bank that they would hold that account open. I don't know what happened internally, but it took a week and a half to get the funds from that closed account. A week in which I couldn't feed my children without help from a friend (my ex took every other penny we had). I was contacted by the bank's lawyer, Jerry Wilkinson, who told me that the bank had done nothing illegal. He hedged on the "unethical" parts. I tried to work this all out with the bank. I didn't want to go public. If they had simply apologized and made efforts to change their policies, I would have let this go. Instead, they hunkered down. So I felt I had to warn others. Until the bank makes some changes, I wouldn't trust them with my money.

A tradition of helping is correct. The staff helped me thru the loan process and got me rolling to start my small business. Forever thankful to them & would highly recommend them

I don't bank here but i intend to in the future. I really appreciate the investment they've made in making Cache Valley a more beautiful place. The new buildings that have gone up in recent years really add to community aesthetically. It matters what our buildings look like as Cache Valley continues to grow!

I paid off a mortgage (lot loan) I had with them from 2007-2016. In 2019 I'm financing a house and find out that the original lot loan is still on my credit record! Yes, nearly $100k still showing up on my credit report. Here we are in 2021 and I'm STILL trying to them help me remove it from my credit report. Like most mortgage companies, once they have your money they could care less about anything else. So much for the little guys, the locals, providing excellent customer service.

Poor communication. Over promise and under deliver. I would stay away from banking here.

Our experience with CVB has been characterized by a propensity for being unavailable, a lack of follow up, then when prompted, asking for things we had previously provided, not honoring their word or following the processes that they outlined; and a new one I just learned today; they do not publish their loan rates, and yet...they also do not return calls. What's the big secret? And How are you supposed to lock a rate? We are kind of "involved" in the process now but I desperately wish I would have known and could have chosen an institution that recognizes us a client/customer, and that at least pretended like they cared. I understand that what seems like a big deal to me is just another day at work for them, but even with that understanding, I am consistently disappointed.

Great bank. Today I spent close to 30 minutes waiting my turn in the drive through. I don't want to take that much time out of my day for a simple banking transaction.

Nish Modi was as professional a banker as I have ever dealt with. Precise, to the point, efficient, and trusting. He did what he said he would do and did it quickly. When dealing with the loan department at CVB...ask for Nish!
