I love my branch manager. Whenever I have a concern Kim will drop what she is doing to assist me. The same is true of the manager of the Providence Branch. This is real community banking.

Just a horrible bank. Over draft fees on everything, Hours suck aren’t open on Saturday . Could never make it in to add funds because of their hours ! can’t make deposits thru ATM . Rude people that work there especially the one in Logan. I do not recommend unless you like being over charged on everything. Switched to Chase and much happier . Also the direct deposit wouldn’t hit till like 7am . Chase hits at 1205am . Don’t deal with small banks . They don’t have the financial pockets that bigger banks do. Oh the app is complete garbage it freezes and half the time Face ID doesn’t work. I’ve had it both on a galaxy s22 and iPhone 13 and it’s garbage. Bank of Utah is garbage

We have been building a house for the past nine months. We chose Bank of Utah to be our mortgage company. Liz Littell has been working with us every step of this process. I can't express how wonderful Liz has been to work with during this stressful, but exciting time. The Bank of Utah and Liz helped answer many questions during the nine month construction period. Liz has great communication skills. She never dropped the ball answering and addressing our issues and questions. She was always professional and quickly got back to us when we called, texted, or emailed her. I highly recommend the Bank of Utah and if you are in the Cache Valley area, ask for Liz to be over your loan. Thanks Liz and Bank of Utah for everything and your patience with us. We move in next week :)

I know for some, not wearing a mask is a political statement, however some of this banks customers must have factors that make them more likely to get COVID. No one wore a mask while I set up an account. I did. I was going to transfer all my $ to this new bank, but all I could think was that if they don't care about their customers well being - how can I trust them with all my savings. Looking for another new bank.

I went to close a CD account that had completed it's year maturity, and without notice they told me I'd be fined because I didn't close it the exact day it expired. (Keep in mind that this bank closes every day right away at 5 and isn't operational on Saturdays, so the odds of getting there with an average work schedule is slim). Since I didn't meet their stupid 24 hr requirement I was fined ~$50, when the whole account only earned $90 in the year's span. Completely worthless!

I love the branch on 1400 north in Logan!! They always are so personable and the tellers always call me by name. It is like I am banking with my own family. Jodi is amazing to work with. She is always so professional and helpful. This is an A plus branch!! I would never bank with anyone else!! If anyone is looking for a professional friendly bank with awesome tellers and managers look no further. Bank of Utah is the best of the best!!

If you are in the market for a mortgage, please stay far away from this particular location. I started my experience thinking things would be perfect as it came so highly recommended from my real estate agent. Things looked risky when every time I called the Mortgage agent did not remember who I was and had to "pull my file". I let this slide because maybe they have a ton of customers, they are only human.

Then it came down to talking numbers. Every time I was quoted a price for my mortgage, I would call to talk about it and the lending agent would have a hard time duplicating the numbers that I had been quoted. Multiple times I would hear, "I'm not sure how I got there but these are the real numbers." This was never in my favor but in the banks favor every time. I went into the office once to have a chat with this lending agent and while sitting there, I find out they pulled my credit for a second time but the second time was without my knowledge. So they offered the report to me and brought it out to me in a Bank of Utah folder. When I started going through this report on my own, I realized that my credit score was much higher than I expected, I was pretty excited. I then started looking at my accounts and such and nothing looked familiar, I then realized they had given me the wrong person's credit report. This is where I lost all faith in my agent because this was not ok at all and I could only imagine if they gave my credit report to another customer, I would be really upset. Fast forward to my closing date. I had my "schedule of fees" that I was given when I locked my rate. I then got a glimpse of the "good faith estimate" that really reflected what I was being charged. They were $2000 apart! I asked about it and they explained away a few small charges but could not explain around $1000 worth of charges. It was an error on the bank's part and I was stuck paying it because the "GFE" is what is actually in their system and my "Schedule of Fees" was just a courtesy paper explaining what was in the "GFE" Bottom line, if you've made it this far in my review. PLEASE STAY AWAY from their mortgage department!
