My boyfriend booked this room for a special occasion for us. We spent a lot of money for a nice, romantic time. When we first arrived, the front desk immediately added $50 onto the $319 price we booked and told us it was because we booked with a military discount. We were committed to the stay and were like okay! But we found out later that was not true and the $319 cost was for the room, and they charged us the extra $50 for who knows what. The room was dirty, the nightstands had drink marks from drinks on them, and there was sticky stuff all over the floor by the tub, which is pretty gross. The people who dropped the items off at the room pounded on the door, which was quite alarming, and the host took forever to respond to our texts about ice and towels. We spent over $400 to stay one night with a subpar breakfast, a dirty room, and horrible customer service. The romance package included maybe one rose on the floor and a bottle of cheap cider. Not impressed.Rooms: Dust everywhere

We had a great stay this week. It was a fun romantic getaway. The themed rooms are so cool. Very luxurious. I loved the sheets and the shower. My girlfriend loved the jetted tub and the theme of our room. A couple thing we would like to see improvement would be better communication with staff. But overall it was a great experience, and we will definitely be back for another stay. Thanks Anniversary Inn!Rooms: The rooms could have been cleaner. We had a couple sticky spots

Edit: Got in touch with the manager and she was incredibly helpful in remedying the situation for all parties. The rating has been updated to match the improved service given. While it shouldn’t have taken what it did to resolve everything, she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome.Booked a couples massage (1 hour) and the website stated it would be $90/hr per person. The massage therapists showed up (15min late) and at the end said she wasn’t sure if we knew but we were supposed to pay her directly instead of going through the hotel room charge. Not a big deal, sent her the payment and tip. After we got the invoice we noticed a $120 charge for the massage and called to ask for clarification as we were told we weren’t going to pay via the hotel room charge from the massage therapist. They explained to us that they now charge $40/hr PER PERSON just to book the massage therapist to come to your room. This was never explained over the phone to confirm availability of the massage nor on the website when looking at the details of the massage package. I would not have booked if I had known and feel cheated out of $80 (they did refund $40).Their excuse was “it’s a new thing within this last week and everything hasn’t been updated properly.” We booked over a week ago though, and never had it explained to us after their supposed policy change. The room was nice and the themes are fun, but I likely will never return based on the poor customer service and ridiculous excuses.

We stayed in the room Rich's Drive-in and it was one of the worst rooms we have ever stayed in! First thing, the door to get in. The door handle was so worn out, we felt unsafe, even with it being lock, plus there was a label to no use the deadbolt. Most of the floor is some kind of rubber flooring and the smell it gave off, was so gross! The bed looked awesome, until we laid down on it. It had no box springs and the mattress just sat on top of a wood box. My wife, noticed this Inn is so cheap, that the comforter wasnt even covered by a duvet, just 2 sheets on each side, that unravelled when we got into bed, exposing the dirty comforter. The bathroom was okay, just noticed toilet paper holder is very close to the ground for some reason. For a place that costs over $300 a night, STAY AWAY! It is very clear, there is very little upkeep and we will never come back.

So if you want an experience then this is great until you hit the bed. I don’t understand how a place that specializes in adults has a full bed in the room not even a queen not to mention it was worn out. The bed is worst then a cheap motel room. Save your money go stay at a nice Hilton for half the cost and don’t wake up with a soar back!!!

Needs improvements in cleanliness and customer service. Also, even though I had a bounce back certificate, they tried to charge for the room.

Rented the rainforest room for the night. When we opened the door we were treated with a very musty old home smell. Then directly inside the door a door to another room was left open and we were staring at a junk storage room that they forgot to lock up. The room was large and had 3 spaces to it. Only one space was heated. The bathtub was huge and was enjoyed after we cleaned out the cleaning solutions left in the bottom of the tub.The mattress was super old and we slept very close in the middle just like a taco. The decor was old, worn and outdated.Breakfast was good.Rooms: Outdated worn and old

This place is long past its prime. Our breakfast order was the wrong entree and the hot chocolate was cold, so we sent it back. The hot chocolate was served cold again. The room was starting to show its age. Several lights were burned out and the TV speakers were blown out.

The most unusual hotel/B&B in which I have ever stayed. Huge turnoff--on a 5 night stay front desk staff informed me that they do not "typically" clean the rooms during your stay no matter how long or short the stay is. I quickly grew rather disenchanted with the place. My room had a huge jacuzzi in the middle of the room but no closets, no drawers, nowhere to put/hang clothes. Internet service is spotty. Breakfasts are one positive. Cute, well maintained place (on the outside). Need to do more maintenance on the inside. For $300/ night, I expect a LOT more. I won't describe a specific irritating situation with the staff because it would give me away but let's just say it was outrageously unprofessional. The staff also seemed clueless about basic things in which a hotel staff should be trained.

My favorite get away spot. The tubs are always clean. And the breakfast is good.
