I downloaded their app. Within two hours, I received a cold call from them. On a Sunday!. No manners or respect for the fact that it is the day of our Lord. I never consented to this. Now I am concerned, I will start getting cold calls as they will sell my information, or continue to spam me. Very shady.

Summary: Car was towed while using Neighbor. They won't reimburse. They gave me the "hosts" information and suggested I confront him for the costs. Beware hosts (that they will leak your personal information), and beware renters.Story: Unfortunately, I would give Zero stars if that was possible. I had used Neighbor several times for long term vehicle storage, as it was less expensive than parking at the airport. I would pay Neighbor, park my car, and take an Uber for my flight, returning weeks later. After my most recent work trip I returned via Lyft to find my car gone. I tried contacting the "host" with no answer. I called Neighbor Customer Service, and the woman was very kind but unable to do another except try to reach out to the host. I then called the police who confirmed my car had been towed. I was able to pay my driver extra to sit with me for a few hours (in the night, in the rain, in a bad part of town), while I waited to have my car released from impound. The cost for release was $425, and I paid my Lyft driver an additional $50 for waiting with me for three hours. While Neighbor initially asked for receipts from the towing company, they now maintain that the storage of my vehicle is not their responsibility (even though I had paid them for this service). I have been going back and forth with them for three weeks since the incident. I have apparently spoken to the highest available person on the phone, who is the receptionist (very nice at least). She maintains that her manager, the person in charge, isn't able to speak to customers on the phone. They have assured me they have forwarded my feedback to the management team, but won't be offering a refund for my towing fees. At the bottom of the Neighbor website, there is text stating, "Safety and Support: As long as you're with Neighbor, you're protected." What a joke.

1.This company spams you calls/texts the second anyone is interested in the space you want to rent before you even have a chance to reach out to the client. They will call you over and over saying "YOU HAVE A MESSAGE!" even though the app tells you that you have a message2.Neighbor wants your birthdate, your social security number, ID and pretty much everything they need to steal your identity to use their services. all so you can make an extra 50$ a month...3.Told me I wasn't following their guidelines and when I asked them to clarify their message/threat, I got no response.4.Fees they charge are completely absurd for the 0% risk they take on. Check out the other reviews on this place and you will find out Neighbor covers nothing when things hit the fans.They are just here to take 10-30% of the money off of YOUR spot.Use facebook/craigslist instead. Or just make an account and then make arrangements outside the app. Don't give these people a dime.

If I could give the company zero stars I would. We decided to rent out part of our basement and along with the belongings the renter brought cockroaches with them. Neighbor is refusing to help us in any way. They are saying we have to give 30 notice and if the renter doesn’t move their belongings after 60 days they’ll help with auctioning them. What am I supposed to do now with all the cockroaches? Let them make a home in our house? I have little kids and this is horrible situation to deal with. Neighbor does not care about it. Never using this company ever again. Can’t wait until this nightmare is over.

My renter cancelled 3 months ago and has yet to remove their belongings. Neighbor refuses to do anything to assist despite all their published policies about reimbursing in the case of non-payment and auction procedures after 30 days.I am an Airbnb super host and was very excited about the concept of Neighbor, but I will NEVER use neighbor again and will be spreading the word to fellow investors. Thoroughly disappointed.

A true example of business gone bad. Almost 2 years ago I fell for the 50% off deal neighbor offered. Facility and it's owner were fantastic. Neighbor was a NIGHTMARE. From Billing to lack of customer service every aspect of this third party renter is a failure. Facility owner disliked Neighbor more than i did. But even bad things end. Or so I thought.....It's been more than a year. I have no ongoing and certainly no future reservations with Neighbor. Yet out of nowhere I start receiving charge attempts on my card. Neighbor attempting to charge different amounts 5 to 7 times per day. I blocked them but continued receiving notices. Tried contacting them, and asked visa and the state of Utah to investigate. In the past 30 days Neighbor has attempted to fraudulently charge my credit card 217 times. I refuse to change my card, it is a pain to change cards and this IS NOT my problem.Stay away from Neighbor

Predatory billing practices! Booked one month rental for space and removed car prior to end of month, they billed for second month with no prior email notice and now won’t respond to courteous email. Stay away! Reporting to BBB
