While Macey's has some good prices on some local products--Utah chocolate truffle bars comes to mind--their claim that their prices are higher because they sell higher quality products doesn't hold water for 3/4 of what is in the store, which are the same manufactured food products that sell at other nearby stores for cheaper prices.

The customer service wasn't great, other than that they have a great selection in the bakery.

I always love walking into Macey's. It's clean, every employee is friendly and helpful, and the pharmacy is our favorite. The prices aren't always the lowest but sometimes it's worth it to shop at a store where you always know you'll be right. Always a lovely experience.

Great grocery store, large variety and huge selection of local products made in Utah, I really like that the outside facade matches Lehi Roller Mills across the street. The deli’s prepackaged salads are one of my favorite things to grab for lunch.

Had a horrible experience at the pharmacy: I tried emailing the store and never heard back. I called the corporate office, someone said the person over the store would call me. It’s been almost a week now. So disappointing. I’ve shopped at this store for years and can’t say that I will continue to do so. I also will never use their pharmacy again.

Every town needs a local grocer, and Maceys does a pretty darn good job filling that role. Baked goods that aren't quite so cut and dry, some goods you can only find at local locations for some reason, and nice employees

All in all great place. Good ice cream, prices, and variety! The sit down area is great for visitors just there for the ice cream and if I ever need a cheese grater and toy car again I know where to go.

It's no wonder my wife hates Macey's. When I ask her why, the first thing she mentions is the terrible produce section. The accessibility and plentiful parking of the Lehi location are the only things Macey's has going right, but there is an underlying reason the parking lot is empty. Trying to shop there is a frustrating experience I'll do my best to avoid in the future. To be generous, I found the produce selection to almost verge on marginal, and the quality to be so-so, (I guess my wife is more particular than I am), yet the prices seem quite high. For example, just this morning I looked at the price of peaches and grapes, each of which was priced at Macey's over 3x the price another supermarket chain in the area had listed just a couple of days ago. Then when you finally pick something with a price you can live with, there are no check-out clerks. Zero. Self-checkout only, take it or leave it. The self-checkout system is pulling up different prices than what was posted back in the produce section, sometimes high, sometimes low. Many items don't have bar codes, so you're guessing what they call the item in their system, but nothing pulls up that matches the prices they posted in the produce section. To make things worse, there isn't even an attendant to come help amend the discrepancies. It's like a ghostland. Even the service desk was empty. Does ANYBODY work here? Did I miss the fire drill? It almost seems as if Macey's is overtly TRYING to lose business... They can congratulate themselves on losing mine. (They lost my wife's business years ago). Maybe they're already going out of business at the Lehi location (I can't say I would shed a tear) and I somehow snuck in just before they close their doors, at least that's what it felt like. Enough is enough... Unable to checkout accurately and honestly, and with no assistance available, nobody to even make eye contact with, I left the items I intended to purchase right there at the self-checkout kiosk and walked out empty-handed in frustration. You would think someone might care, but nope. Nada! There was no one there to even give a flying crap that I just left my items and was walking out. This was just before 9 am! Am I amiss to think that at this time of day a grocery store might actually be functioning? Hopefully, some time before the doors get locked tonight some employee will show up to work and find my chosen items sitting there. It is mind-boggling that Macey's has apparently been in the grocery business for years and has locations all across the region, yet struggles in their inept attempt to cover the very basics. Hint to Macey's management: (1) It is common for potential customers to evaluate a supermarket by the produce section. Your executive decision to not compete on produce selection, quality and price seems to be leading to your demise. (How many stores has Macey's closed in the last 5 years? Sheesh!) (2) If you can actually get a customer in your store, despite your reputation for having the worst produce of all the supermarket chains in the Mountain West, you probably want said customers to select products and actually go through the entire purchasing process. Sorry if these concepts are earth-shattering.

Always so much fun to see what new products they have here. But I couldn't find the one thing I went in for. Do they still carry Russell's Ice Cream mix?

I love this Maceys. Good location, lots of parking, rarely busy, great soft serve ice cream for like a dollar to keep the kids (or me) satiated while shopping, and they don't force you to use self-checkout, there is always at least a couple of cashiers open. I also like that they feature small, local brands on various racks and end caps throughout the store. The staff is always friendly. Their bakery has the best donuts around. Produce selection is so-so.

Cleaner and friendlier than Smith's. I like that they always have wipes for the carts. The bakery messed up on a cake and the manager went above and beyond to make it right. They usually have what I need. I like the small town feel of the store!
