Harmons Grocery at Traverse Mountain is a fabulous, locally owned, and upscale market. It is an excellent market with a huge variety of items, where a large selection corresponds to a "Warehouse" category, offering cheaper prices than some competitors. The store is beautiful and well-planned. The produce and fruit are exceptionally fresh, a favorite for many, alongside a fantastic deli and bakery. The bakery offers freshly baked artisanal bread, cookies, and cakes, including items like white chocolate pecan bread. The store also features great meat, including in-house ground chicken sausage. There is a large selection of bulk items with decent prices and loads of organic options. The flower shop is amazing, filled with extraordinary plants, fresh flowers, and seasonal greenery that changes with the turn of the season. While the rest of the store is fantastic, some note a flaw with freezer-burnt items in the ice cream section. Prices can be a little higher but are often considered well worth it for the quality. The store provides great customer service, with staff members frequently going above and beyond to help. The cafe offers friendly and quick service. An upstairs working and eating space is super nice, quiet, and provides free wifi, suitable for a meeting or work session. Services include prescription delivery, grocery delivery, and pickup, in addition to being on Instacart.
