I was nervous about going, based on past reviews, but my experience was great. The lady there was extremely helpful and cordial. I had a return that went smoothly and also wanted to place an order on a size larger of one of the items. She matched the sale price we had paid before and got the info so it will be shipped to my house. She even pointed out that we had a $5 credit and made sure it was applied. A few others were doing returns that seemed to go well, including one without the receipt.

Ordered 2 jackets that both were too big for my daughter, I wanted to ship it back but it cost $30 to send back, the company didn’t want to give me a free shipping label. Horrible customer service, I was on the phone for 1 hour waiting to talk to someone.

I ordered some items online, and long story short OnTrac decided to return my order to sender rather than deliver it to me. I called The Children’s Place customer service a few times this week because it has been more than 3-5 business since my order was returned.No one can tell me why I haven’t been refunded yet, and they refer me back to OnTrac which makes zero sense since my refund should come from The Children’s Place. I will NEVER order from here again because it’s just been the WORST experience going back and forth trying to get MY money back.I also put in a new replacement order while in the midst of waiting for my refund. I have it being shipped to the store to avoid the same issue happening again, but now no one can track my order!!

DOUBLE CHECK your receipt BEFORE paying!! I even told her one of my clearance items didn't ring up right ($19.95 instead of $6.99) and she said it would drop off after she totalled it. Surprise, surprise it didn't! I should've double checked before paying!!! And I used a $10 off $20 coupon which they claim they can't replace or refund so I just got screwed over!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

Dumbest return policy ever!!! My son got for Christmas 2 pairs of jeans that he didn't like how the style fit him - I go to the store to exchange them today with the price tags still attached BUT the store policy would only allow him to exchange the pants for the same style... no gift card allowed! So now my son is stuck with 2 brand new pairs of jeans he will never wear and I'm stuck with money lost! I will never do there again with such a stupid return/ exchange policy!

It is the worst service that I can find, in customer service in this store. In December 2021, I ordered two pairs of snow boots, they never arrived, what did arrive was the bill. I called customer service and told them the boots had not arrived but the bill had, and they told me they would investigate, after a month the boots arrived, (until January 2022) my mistake was paying that bill without having the merchandise so as not to have surcharges on account. When the boots arrived, I went to the store and returned both pairs of boots, since I no longer needed them. the money was never refunded, something that other stores do or credit it to your account. In April 2022 I bought pajamas, it was easy for me to think that they would discount the payment of the money that was never returned to me. or surprise they put me $ 35 dollars of charges for not paying. I contacted customer service and it turns out that the only transaction that appears is from July 2021, but nothing from December and January. and what he had to pay for June. well out of the three times i spoke to customer service people none of them knew anything. but yes, I had to pay again. It is a robbery what they do in this company. Once they charged me for merchandise that I never bought. (it was a fraud). I will close my account. Besides, they take years to deliver an order you make online. you need things and they last a month to arrive, this service is the worst.

Children place has the worst customer service...Especially the Layton Hill Mall in Layton. The Store Manager Audery was not very helpful. My daughter was gifted a jeans for her birthday and it was the wrong sized. I ask if I could exchange it for a different size but the size I needed was unavailable. The only thing she could do was for me to find something in the clearance that was same price;( $13.99) so she showed me the clearance rack and said look at the tags with $13.99 and left. I though she would help me out, but she was busy talking to her coworker in the cash wrap. I was already frustrated I could not find anything that is for $13.99. I ask if I could get a store gift card so I can get something else, Audrey said that the company do not do instore gift card without receipt. Audrey did mention that I should sell it at Facebook YardSale or eBay. I don't have time for that...I explain to her it was gifted to my daughter. This company is only about money and they really don't care about their customers. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND and force you to waste your money. OTHER COMPANIES GIVE YOU A REFUND without giving a hard time and make sure that their customers are satisfied. I will never buy from them again.

I HATE THIS PLACE!! Comenity is a joke! I wish I had read these reviews before I bought ANYTHING from The Children’s Place! I would give ZERO stars if I could. I’m warning you DO NOT BUY anything from these jerks! I purchased on the website in December, matching pajamas for the whole family. There was an option for using “AFTERPAY” which I used. To this day FIVE MONTHS LATER I’m still getting bills and phone calls even after I filed a dispute that I learned was CLOSED for no apparent reason because they’re still billing me. This place is the biggest joke! I will NEVER buy from the children’s place and I will never use Afterpay either. I opened another dispute AGAIN and have to submit for the second time all of the documentation I submitted two months ago.

I used to love The Children's Place so much that I got a credit card there, I got billed fees for every month I didn't use my credit card; the charge wasn't much but super annoying since I don't buy my kids clothes every month, I usually just go on hauls a few times a year. I realize that this is probably more to do with their credit card partner, but they are a representationof their partners. This left a bad taste in my mouth and I probably won't shop here anymore

They sent my package through OnTrac (horrible company) who lost it. Children's Place won't do a thing about contacting them to get my items. I will never buy from them again, though that won't hurt them at all. They are big enough they should give me a refund, but they won't.

Over the last 12 years, I have watched this mall slowly fade into irrelevancy. I am unsure of who the investment group is, but their lack of attention and refusal to invest in the upkeep and appearance is shameful. Today, we needed to stop in for a quick clothing pick-up, from one of their national retailer tenants. The outside walls and surroundings are in desperate need of paint and repair. The entrance doors have missing or loose handles. It's rather depressing, to be honest. Once inside, it doesn't get much better. The floors are outdated and in horrible condition. Many store fronts are vacant and their is really no decor, to add to the ambiance. The main escalator is broken, which no big deal, life happens, right? However, they have a poster board sized professional appearance printed sign, in a metal store sign stand that reads escalator out of order. It would appear this sign has been up for quite some time. The best way I can explain what has transpired at this mall over the years, is to liken it to an experience some can relate to. It's like visiting an extended family member, who never cleans their house and sits around in a dirty shirt, drinking all day. Sure, you want to stop by and provide the attention and support they deserve, but after you leave... all you can do is shake your head and ask "what happened!?!?!?" Then, you progress to a feeling of sadness and want to figure out a way to intervene. So, I will leave it at this. The mall is aged and desperately needs some help. I appreciate the fact that a few national retail stores have continued to stay open. I am also grateful to have a mall near by. However, if it continues to be neglected and it's needs ignored, a day will come in the not so distant future, when there's nothing left in this location, other than an abandoned eye sore. So why 3 stars. Simply directed to the retail stores that continue to stay open and provide the opportunity to still shop their brands in a close location. They are saints for sticking it out. Without these stores, I would give the malls by itself, a sold 1.4 stars. To the Layton Hills Mall investment group or private equity owners. Shame on you! Get it together and clean this mall up. If you can't do it or don't have the financial resources to do so, sell this property to a group that will do what it takes to revitalize and renew! It would be a real waste to let this mall continue to deteriorate.

Growing up, I remember my parents bringing me here to do back to school shopping at JC Penny and other stores. Every time I come here, there is a nostalgic feeling I get. I enjoy walking the corridors and browsing the windows and grabbing a bite at the food court. Brings me back to those simpler times With the way the world is shifting from brick and mortar shops to online shopping, it's been having an impact on the mall. I don't come very often but each time I do, there are less and less people here. I avoid busy shopping days like the weekends or Black Friday. The mall is clean. It is easy to navigate, and easy to access. Being so close to I-15 makes getting here quick. There is always ample parking on all sides of the mall.

They were really clean and required masks. Not optional. I felt safe walking around in the stores and in the mall. They have Security walking around the mall which I think all malls should have so I give them kudos for that. Sometimes a few hooligans can ruin it for all so i think All malls should have mall cops. They were friendly as well. Most all people there were in a relaxed good mood. I will be back soon.

Twice I’ve ordered and both times at least one of the iteMs became un available after I’d already waited weeks for it to arrive (already paid and order completed). What a joke. So frustrating. I was tying to prepare for festivities and it basically just left me scrambling last minute.
