The area is not safe or secure. The gate doesn't close half the time and when it does, it takes 10 minutes to close behind you.The RV area is deep thick gravel that's difficult to drive on and there are no painted lines. The neighbors next to me parked their bus at such an angle that I couldn't get my trailer out. A ticket was created by the call center and I was told I just had to wait 3-5 business days. 2 weeks later I got my trailer out and upon returning less then 4 hours later, someone parked in my spot. I was told to wait 3-5 business days again and that I was out of luck. I drove my trailer to another storage site and signed a lease with them.This place just wants money for long term rentals and don't care. I wouldn't park anything here that you care about.I was also charged twice for insurance. One $8 charge and one $12 and no explanation or fix. They just didn't care.

If I could give less than a one star rating I would. This place is actually a NEGATIVE 5. I came to my storage unit tonight to get tools I need for work tomorrow out of my storage shed. The gate would not accept my code. So I called and spoke to the customer service number. They said the gate is temporarily broken and they are trying to get the parts to fix it. They couldn’t even give me a timeframe for when it would be fixed. I told them that I have to get to my unit to get those tools because they are now affecting my income for tomorrow. I asked them what they were going to do about this. They smugly started that they were working on getting the gate fixed. I said you need to takeoff the income I am losing tomorrow due to your gate being broken off of my bill and issue me a credit. They stated that they don’t give credits for that reason. This place has raised my rent from $110 originally to $187 in less than two years. They don’t keep up the property and they don’t even live in this state. I am moving my stuff out asap. Do not rent here. No empathy and customer service does not exist here!!

Their RV parking area is not secure whatsoever, their gate on one side has a huge gap that people can climb through and get in that is loosely held by a chain. I found that someone had broken in one day stealing propane tanks and found the foot prints going from that gate to the rv area. When I called to report it they shrugged it off and said it would be up to the others to find out their stuff was missing.Fast forward to a few weeks later they send me a notice that they added insurance to my account, even after I have provided Insurance for my equipment twice! I called and they said it would be removed, my next bill comes out and they kept charging me for the insurance. I’ll be contacting consumer services for Utah to investigate this place for sure.

I have had a good experience with IN Self. The remote renting process was easy and so was transferring units when I needed a different size. They even applied the payment I made in my old unit to the new one
