Store sold me the wrong parts then refused to even do a simple exchange because I didn't have a receipt, Even though their system keeps track of purchases. So I guess enjoy my money. Shady way to do business but what can you do. Some of the worst customer service I have experienced always seems to come from auto zone. Went to O'Reilly and got the same parts I wanted but was given the correct parts and I paid $20 less. So auto zone has forever lost my business. I recommend you save yourself the grief and just shop at O'Reilly or advanced auto parts, it's less of a headache.

Had a mediocre experience the first time, the young gentleman just didn’t seem to know what was going on. However my husband and I went in to return the wrong parts I accidentally got. Chris was a complete asshat. He was so short with us. We were not being rude in any way just asking simple questions to understand the situation better. My husband was tired and accidentally mispronounced a word and this guy seriously could not let it go until my husband corrected himself. He made me feel so dumb cause I didn’t understand how I ended up with the wrong part when I put all my information in their website and I got what was suggested. One of the worst I have ever experienced with any establishment.

Words don’t even begin to justify the amazing experience I had at AutoZone in Layton today. Riker was so young, but so knowledgeable. Bought a new vehicle and it’s just giving me hell. Showed up at the part store and ended up getting stuck in the parking lot for 2 hours the staff were so hospitable as Morgan welcomed my family in out of the heat including my pup and offered up water and even brought a bowl for my dog to have a drink to, while Riker took charge and started helping me diagnose issues, Morgan helped me shop around to get price matches because on top of it I left my phone home they were an amazing pit crew got my car running and back on the road in no time. They were so kind and they all have such wonderful personalities I love the layout well set up and very organized it just all made sense, even had a fresh clean smell. This is my go to part store always I have an auto zone next to my house but I chose the drive the extra 15 miles just for the customer service.

I had ordered my parts online and picked them up at this AutoZone in Layton and the parts. I had ordered the wrong parts so the guys at the counter told me they had the right parts but I’d have to pay a lot more money than what I paid for them online they would not switch them out for the right ones, and talked down to me while they were saying they wouldn’t switch them out for the right ones and that I would have to pay 140 dollars more , So I just got my money back and went to O’Reilly’s Ordered my parts from O’Reilly’s and once again, the part came back the wrong part but this time O’Reilly’s said just bring back in the parts I ordered and they would switch them out for the right ones which is what AutoZone should’ve done in the first place, Ill never go back To AutoZone again.

Stopped in to check the engine light code. They were very busy, but the staff seemed calm and in good spirits while still being efficient and productive. We got our situation sorted with great information from the employees. I don't live in town, but if I did, this would be my auto store!

The service is very bad, the guy who speaks Spanish answers reluctantly ? we went to a battery terminal and his response was look what is useful where you go for advice and so that they give you good attention, not so that you practically have to guess yourself what is .

I haven’t worked on a car in a few years and didn’t feel confident installing something I bought. Caleb C jumped in to help me and he didn’t make me feel dumb for not knowing how to do something so simple or anything. I left feeling grateful for his help! Will definitely come back next time I need something.

I have been having an intermittent check engine light and issue with my car that other places I took it into couldn’t help me with. It was a freezing day when I came in and Brandon was willing to come out in the cold and go above and beyond to help me with several issues with my car to make driving my car much safer. Can’t say enough about how valuable of an employee he is to the AutoZone staff and irreplaceable. This is definitely my go to place when I need to get car parts and help with my car parts.

I needed a new windshield wiper, which my car has a very specific type of clip that isn't very common. The worker was super helpful as we tried a few different wipers until we found one that was compatible with my car.

Don’t waste your time or money on these guys cause they treat you like trash they sell the wrong parts and thanks to these idiots a 30 min brake job has turned into an all day nightmare

Had to order a part but it would come from their warehouse. They sold me next day shipping and the part took two days. Requested a refund on the next day shipping and was denied. They said it wasn't guaranteed next day. I feel if you are promoting next day you should follow through. If not don't sell next day shipping.
