Their ACT tutoring program has produced phenomenal results for our son. If you are looking for a tutor for the ACT I would highly recommend that you look into their program. My son improved his ACT score from a 26 the first time he took it to a 30. It required months of studying but so worth it! Im still in shock that he was able to perform that well we are really pleased!

We have had a great experience at Huntington! My son never complains about going - they make it a fun and inviting atmosphere. He has made friends there and his confidence has increased in his schoolwork. I love that they work with our school teacher to see how he is doing in school as well as in the tutoring center. While financially it does cost a lot, it has been worth every penny and I would do it all over again!

Huntington has been the answer we were looking for for our son. We tried several different interventions before without success or seeing progress. He is quickly progressing and catching up. I would recommend Huntington to anyone!

10 year old. she went for about 9 months. Yes I am an actual parent:) For those parents questioning the price or whether the tutoring will help- I have to tell you it absolutely helps and is worth every penny we spent. my daughter was 3 levels behind in reading and had problems with comprehension in reading/ writing/ and math. She struggled so much in school because of it and honestly, the school didn’t do much to help with it. Her tests showed she was right below grade level but she was much worse than they said. I was so nervous to do the tutoring because i didn’t think it would help as much as it did. It was life changing for my daughter. her confidence boosted all around in emotional regulation skills and in knowing she is good enough now to learn. she is exactly where she is supposed to be on reading level and math levels. I love that the teacher and tutors are professionals. I am so happy with the result and my daughter is so happy she did it also. hope this helps and thank you Huntington Learning Center.

We were very happy with the staff at the Kaysville Huntington. They communicated well with our daughter and with us. They were willing to try different tutors until they found the one that worked best with her. She was hoping to improve her ACT score by 3 points and she improved it by 5!

Tutoring at the Huntington Learning Center has been a great experience for my son. He didn’t want to go there at first, but he has an appreciation for it now and he’s doing really well. They’ve even discovered that he has a talent in one of the subjects they are helping him with that he never realized. I would encourage parents to stick with it, even if your child complains about it at first. The communication with the staff there is fabulous. They are great and keep us well informed with progress reports and regular meetings. It is fun to see how much they are helping him and the confidence he has gained. He is happy to go there now. Thank you Huntington!

My son has a scholarship offer to a university in the midwest for athletics. Due to the universities budget, in order to get a full ride, a portion of the scholarship was academic. My son had a 23 on the ACT. To receive the academic portion of the scholarship he had to get a 24. Huntington said that this would not be a problem. They said every thing but guarantee that they could get his score up a point if not four to six points. We paid a lot of money and our son put in the work. The incentive was huge. The academic portion of the scholarship was close to 40k over four years. The big day came and his score was a disappointing 23. Huntington reached the day the scores were released to ask how he did. When we responded with the disappointing news, there was no response. We have not heard from them since. They got there money and ran. I would not recommend the center. The people were nice, helpful, but their learning is super expensive and not worth it. Don't fall for the sales pitch.

My daughter has really enjoyed going to Huntington. She has been asking for more hours. She is a kid who really did enjoy school. But the program and tutors have made such a huge difference already. She is excited to go and love learning. They complete found her spark again and I really appreciate that.

I can’t say enough about what Huntington has done for my daughter’s future! She is a hardworking, tech-focused student but still, she almost failed out of her first semester of college. It was heartbreaking to watch her confidence crumble and her self-worth waiver. We decided to ‘stop the bleeding’ and work on the problem. She took a semester off and devoted herself to her HLC program. Full disclosure: I am a veteran teacher and I was directing the Kaysville HLC at the time, so I knew and trusted Huntington’s methods. I also understood that it would take focus and dedication. My daughter dove in with gazelle intensity! She needed college-readiness skills, so her Huntington program was an expanded version of the ACT program. She had been embarrassed about her ACT score and was committed to improving it. It was a long process because she was doing the hard work of learning. There were some tears, but there were more cheers, high-fives, and mini-celebration dances as she reestablished her academic self-confidence. In the end, she improved her ACT score FIVE points!!! But that was just the beginning. She has mastered high-level academic skills and is now back in college… and killin’ it! She is an A student, with the occasional B+, and is slowly retaking all those failed classes to knock off the "old her" scores from her GPA. I don’t want to think of what we would have done if we didn’t have Huntington. Thank you, Stan, Tara, Amanda, and all her magical tutors. If you ever wondered if you’ve made a difference, you have! <3

We used Huntington for ACT prep and could not be more pleased. They helped our son raise his overall ACT score by 4 points which made it possible for him to receive a full tuition scholarship for college. He really liked all his teachers and the practice tests they gave him along the way allowed them to tailor his tutoring to areas that needed the most help. We are planning on using Huntington for our other kids when they are old enough to take the ACT.

Our experience with the Kaysville Huntington Learning Center has been nothing but excellent. Our child received tutoring for reading and then ACT prep. The staff was positive and encouraging to our child. They were very accommodating when developing the tutoring schedule. They were great at communicating progress and opportunities for improvement to both us as the parents and our child. The online supplemental program is also a fantastic addition to the face-to-face tutoring. As a result of great staff and the hard work of our child, the first ACT composite score earned was 11 points higher than the pre-test he’d taken about 3 months prior. If you are not sure if it’s a good fit for your child, go in and talk to them. You won’t receive a sales pitch but instead information and advice that will help you make the best decision for your child.

My daughter is in kindergarten, and by February she still didn't know her letters, sounds, recognize numbers, etc. We had her tested at Huntington and found out what we already knew (that she was way behind). She started going to Huntington and within weeks she was already improving. She has been there about 2 months now and has learned more there than she has this year in kindergarten. The staff is amazing and she loves going there. Now we know that she will be ready for 1st grade!!

Our son was falling behind in 6th grade and we were worried about him being ready for junior high. We hired another tutor but it was frustrating and he wasn't making any progress. We came to Huntington for help with reading comprehension and writing. We wanted to see if they could really further his education so we signed up. His attitude was completely different! Now likes learning and is making progress. In fact, last week he didn't want to go to camp because he wanted to "keep learning" and not miss any tutoring. Huntington even met with his JH counselor and he is now enrolled in 7th grade honor's math, something that wouldn't have happened if we didn't have their support. He likes coming to Huntington and we're excited about 7th grade!

Huntington's main focus is improving my son's abilities, habits, and confidence! I thought that was a great to begin with, but when my son came out of his meetings happier than when he went in, that's when I knew this was going to really improve him. They make learning fun, they make it personal, they really care about him as an individual. We are excited to see him improve and actually enjoy the process too!
